With a private hot tub, a gorgeous outdoor deck, and an enviable location overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this three-bedroom Manchester vacation home is the perfect destination for guests in search of coastal tranquility. Beautifully secluded in the small town of Manchester in Northern California, this two-level home is 24 miles north of Gualala, 26 miles south of Mendocino, and only a quarter-mile from the wild and rugged ocean beach.



The Space:

Full of natural light and ocean views, the lofty living space brings the scenic outdoors in. Watch for passing whales and harbor seals from a seat on the sectional sofa, warm yourself by the rustic wood stove, or play a movie on the retractable flatscreen TV. Watch the sun go down each evening from the comfort of a lounge chair on the deck, or gather your family around the picnic table for a high-stakes game of poker. There's no better way to enjoy the brisk coastal breezes than from the warmth of the ocean-facing hot tub.



The full kitchen enjoys a panoramic view of both the ocean and the living room, while a variety of cooking tools makes meal preparation easy and relaxing. You'll find an open dining room with seating for six, as well as a dishwasher to take care of the after-dinner chores. A grill outside offers opportunities for barbecues on sunny days.



We encourages guests to explore the nearby beach or take a scenic drive along California Highway One. And don't worry about keeping your clothes salt- and sand-free - there's a washer and dryer, as well as a convenient half-bathroom, in the garage.



Our cozy loft offers two additional twin beds, perfect for older children or adventurous adults. Please note the loft is accessible only by ladder and may not be suitable for younger children.



No matter your outdoor interests, Manchester is an ideal home base for fishing enthusiasts, abalone divers, hikers, and motorists. Take in one of the most beautiful sunset views in California at the Point Arena Lighthouse just ten miles south, or stop by Manchester State Park to find five miles of sandy beach and fields of seasonal wildflowers.
