With a private hot tub, a gorgeous outdoor deck, and an enviable location overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this three-bedroom Manchester vacation home is an ideal destination for guests in search of coastal tranquility. Beautifully secluded in the small town of Manchester in Northern California, this two-level home is 24 miles north of Gualala, 26 miles south of Mendocino, and only a quarter-mile from the wild and rugged ocean beach.



The Space:

Full of natural light and ocean views, the lofty living space brings the scenic outdoors in. Watch for passing whales and harbor seals from a seat on the sectional sofa, warm yourself by the rustic wood stove, or play a DVD favorite on the retractable flatscreen TV. Watch the sun go down each evening from the comfort of a lounge chair on the deck, or gather your family around the picnic table for a high-stakes game of poker. There's no better way to enjoy the brisk coastal breezes than from the warmth of the ocean-facing hot tub.



The full kitchen enjoys a panoramic view of both the ocean and the living room, while a variety of cooking tools makes meal preparation easy and relaxing. You'll find an open dining room with seating for six, as well as a dishwasher to take care of the after-dinner chores. A grill outside offers opportunities for barbecues on sunny days.



We encourages guests to comb the nearby beach or take a scenic drive along California Highway One. And don't worry about keeping your clothes salt- and sand-free - there's a private washer and dryer, as well as a convenient half-bathroom, in the garage.



No matter your outdoor interests, Manchester is an ideal home base for fishing enthusiasts, abalone divers, hikers, and motorists. Take in one of the most beautiful sunset views in California at the Point Arena Lighthouse just ten miles south, or stop by Manchester State Park to find five miles of sandy beach and fields of seasonal wildflowers. Great getaway

Nice quiet neighborhood w magnificent ocean view. Great house layout. Love this rental property. There are pots and pans, basic oil n spices, sewing kit, rubber bands, plastics wraps, foil, tooth picks. Very thoughtful. Would like to purchase this house or one house on the same street in the neighborhood if we were younger.

Cute home with great views!

Super nice location with great views! We used the hot tub every morning and night and listened to the ocean waves. The kitchen was more stocked than usual places we stayed at and had plenty of equipment to make everything we needed. There’s also foosball in the garage. Lots of room to park 3+ cars if needed. It was a very relaxing stay. They also have plenty of board games and puzzles

Was ok

For as much money as we spent, there should have been Internet. There was only one pan to cook with we had to ask for more. The hot tub was dirty, and the water was very low. The views were tremendous, and it was a very beautiful home just those three things could’ve made it excellent.

Amazing view and layout, unfortunately not so clean

4 of us had a good stay for a couple of nights, loving the location, the views, the BBQ and loads of great films! Unfortunately though, the house needs some love and attention, and could do with a deep clean. The hot tub is in a great location but sadly smelled as though it hadn't been cleaned in a few visits. There's cobwebs in corners, lots of dust around, and an ant problem in the kitchen - all in all I think the expectation is that it'd be cleaned more thoroughly and more regularly than it is.

Beautiful Views!

My girlfriends and I just finished a 3 night stay for our annual girls trip. The open living/dining space combined with all the windows with beautiful views made for unforgettable memories chatting, laughing and playing games. The walk to the member's only beach allowed us to enjoy the lovely scenery and take amazing pictures. We ate all our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. Be mindful of grocery stores if you intend to eat at the house. We did most of our shopping in Healdsburg (2 hours away) on our way in. The second day, we needed just a few things and found the little market in town to be quite pricey! When it comes to sleeping arrangements, we loved that every room had a view but we not expecting the situation in the loft. First, you should know getting up to the loft, you need to use a slightly questionable ladder that gave off loud metallic bangs when people went up and down. This was especially problematic when people up there need to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Additionally, the listing says two twin beds but it is two twin mattresses on the floor. Lastly, when we arrived, the hot tub was open and running with the water line below the jets. We had to add cold water to raise the water line which made the hot tub unusable that evening. All in all, we had a good time!!

Surprised my husband for his 60th and wow!!! This place was amazing! The view was incredible. The house was cozy and had all the amenities. Location was easy to access. Private hot tub with an ocean view

Amazing cabin and location! Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway in a remote part of the north coast. If you want the Big Sur experience without the hype and waitlists this is the place to go.

Avoid Vacasa managed properties

House was great, no complaints. Vacasa had misrepresented aspects of the rental. Sorting this out was a nightmare and took from our vacation. Vacasa took a relatively small issue and made it into a huge hassle and wasted most of a day bouncing me around various "managers" in their organization. Big waste of energy and the last thing you want to be doing on your vacation. Left the same review on their site when prompted and they did not post it, so take that 5-star average with a grain of salt. Avoid Vacasa.

We took friends and family to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The house was comfortable and laid out perfectly with ideal views from so many windows. Irish beach is a treasure too. Unexpected! We had the best time in ideal surroundings. And that hot tub on the deck

Incredible Views, Chill Vibes

The ocean views and private beach near this property are incredible and made for an amazing stay. The neighborhood is quiet and serene, we had deer visit the back yard almost every day! The fireplace and atmosphere in the home is so cozy and inviting. An absolute gem for a relaxing getaway.

All and all, a delightful visit. Only problem was I was unable to unlock the hot tub and key box at front door was difficult to open and close.

Great way to unplug

This was the perfect family getaway. Very clean and you definitely felt the love that the owners have. Flying kites at the beach, watching the whales and seeing shooting stars from the hot tub. Probably not the best place to be during a once in a lifetime presidential election. Felt like I was coming out of a cave when we finally got news. We always bring our own sharpe knives and wine glasses so glad that we did. No small sauce pans so it was weird using a fry pan to make a cup of tea but very minor complaints. Looking forward to returning. The view alone was breathtaking.

Beautiful well kept Home Surrounded by Heaven!

Although this Home doesn't have quite the same experience of being right on the Bluff the Views are still amazing! The Kids loved the Loft which was like a little personal Fort for them. The only thing I'd recommend the owners invest $300 to $500 in a Memory Foam mattress for the Master. The mattress feels like a cement slab. If you're looking for an escape from reality to a piece of heaven look no further!

We loved this place! It had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The deck and view are incredible; we watched whales all day long. This place is a gem.

Thanksgiving in Irish Beach

This was a lovely coastal home in Irish Beach. Kitchen very well equipped for our Thanksgiving dinner. Ocean Views are spectacular but not quite “oceanfront”. Quite a hike or short drive to get to the beach. Queen beds were very comfy on the 1st floor. However, the loft “twin beds” were actually mattresses on the floor. We enjoyed the hot tub, even in the rain! Plenty of living space which we kept warm with a cozy fire.
