The advertised hot tub is not a hot tub or was not working. I did inquire about the hot tub to the host prior to our trip with no response.

The pictures of this house looked stunning and my family was so excited to stay here. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed. The stress of not being able to check until 2 hours prior to our stay with poor communication were unacceptable, especially since we were told we could check in 24 hours in advance. At booking, they asked for my phone number and photo ID which I sent. I was told to "text" a copy of my photo ID to a different number in order for them to send me check in details, which seemed sketchy to me. I sent it through the VRBO app again and then was sent check in info. Not enough towels, ants in the kitchen, the hot tub was broken, the pool was green upon arrival. We did get a call on day 2 which they did bring more towels and the pool was shocked 4 days into our 5 day stay at noon and then we were told we couldn't use it for 2 hours...right during prime time! Broken dishwasher, broken pools sticks and no cornhole boards as advertised. There was one sponge with a tiny soap for dishes but no kitchen towels, no hot pads and limited pans with cheap utensils. The upstairs didn't have air conditioning and there was no screen in the window so I felt uncomfortable leaving it open! Broken fans in 2 bedrooms. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The best part of this house was the location to the ocean. Easy/safe walk to the boardwalk with plenty of shops/restaurants. The pool is in a great location if you are looking for full sun from about 11am until 3:30pm.

This property has some serious mold issues. We entered through the garage and weren’t with a strong mold smell right away. We continued into the kitchen and the smell continued. We were in the house for 15 minutes and 3 of the 4 people were experiencing symptoms of mold exposure. One person inspects and remediates mold for a living. They’d never had symptoms hit them so quickly. We had 2 more in our party who had not arrived yet. 1 of them is immune compromised. Needless to say, we left.The photos are obviously enhanced. This place was nothing like this listing indicates. The bathroom off the kitchen smelled like sewage. The entire place was dirty and there were no mattress pads on the beds. The pool was dirty and the grill was not fit to have food near.It was almost 90 degrees the day we checked in. The house was hot and humid. We adjusted one thermostat but couldn’t tell the ac had kicked on. We found another to adjust and it went black and wouldn’t come back on. We messaged the manager as instructed and asked how many ac units the house had. We were told it was one central unit. When I asked what the thermostat by the bedrooms controlled, we received no answer.Property manager called twice and both times acted like she had never heard this before. Host never responded. I had another conversation with the pm. I’ve asked for a refund 4 times and it’s fallen on deaf ears. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

It’s hard to know where to begin. We chose this house specifically for the heated pool and hot tub that was advertised. Prior to our stay I even re-confirmed with the host that the pool was heated and I was told yes. Well that couldn’t be further from the truth. The pool AND hot tub were cold. We messaged the host and the property manager numerous times so they sent a maintenance guy to “turn on the heater “. The heater should’ve been on before we arrived. The so called heater took over 3 days of our 4 day stay to heat the pool and hot tub. In addition the TV room hit you with a horrendous stench of mildew so much so that my husband who has asthma had to leave. The kitchen counters, stove and sinks were infested with tiny ants. The kitchen and bathrooms were not even properly stocked with basic items like towels, soaps, shampoo or garbage bags. Maybe there was enough for a 1 day stay with 2 people NOT a 4 day stay for a family of 7! When we contacted the property manager we were told they don’t provide pool towels. How do you not provide pool towels in a house with a pool???? Ultimately the property manager delivered additional towels and shampoo BUT the pool/hot tub issue was NEVER resolved. We have been using VRBO for many years and this was by far the WORST experience we’ve ever had!!!!

The only good parts about this listing is the location. For us, we were able to walk to hollywood beach within 20 mins, and walk to downtown hollywood within 25 mins. The listing itself was much worse than what was expected. When we arrived, we found some ants in the kitchen which we didn’t expect. The bathrooms felt extremely old and rusty, and the towels were damp and weren’t even fully dry. Furthermore, some of the doors wouldn’t even fully lock and 2 of the sliding doors are broken and come off the hinges. The pool was EXTREMELY hot, the hot tub wasn’t safe for us to step in because of how hot it was. We tried contacting the owner about 5-6 times, and they never responded throughout the entire trip. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, it is not worth the price we paid for. Broken glass was found on the floor and 2 of our people were injured from it. Strictly on location it’s a good spot, but every other aspect of it was much below expectations. The outdoor area was not well lit either. I would stay away from here.

This property presented multiple safety hazards and habitability issues that were not remedied in a reasonable timeframe.During our stay, we found broken glass in multiple areas of the outdoor room and construction staples on the pool deck. As a result, our child sustained injuries, creating an immediate safety concern. The pool was also nearly overflowing and required a maintenance call.Several advertised amenities were not usable as advertised, including a pool table with a broken pool cue and a dartboard with no darts provided.The home was inadequately maintained and supplied:‱Numerous burnt-out lights throughout the home and bathrooms‱No outdoor lighting near the pool, making nighttime use unsafe‱Many bedroom outlets did not function‱Running the dishwasher caused power loss to the entire house‱No hand towels, pool towels, kitchen towels, or cleaning supplies‱Kitchen poorly stockedAdditionally, the home had a strong mold/mildew odor throughout and a significant bug infestation in the kitchen, impacting cleanliness and comfort.We contacted the host and a maintenance technician was sent with a list of reported concerns. However, only a few light bulbs were replaced, and the remaining safety and maintenance issues were not resolved during our stay.Due to the ongoing safety risks and conditions that did not meet basic habitability standards, this property was not suitable for our stay and is not recommended, particularly for families.
