This is a beautiful condo located in Beachwood Villas right across the street from the beach! This home has been remodeled with tile floors and granite countertops. Enjoy beautifully shaded biking and walking paths that lead to the beach and the spa and shops of The Omni Resort at Amelia Island! This home includes lush green canopy and golf landscape views.

Things to Know
Trailers and motorcycles are prohibited in this community. Our building will undergo scheduled exterior maintenance from late November through early January, with work occurring on weekdays during business hours. While all amenities remain accessible, guests may notice some routine construction noise or activity during the day.

Very impressed with the excellent condition of the rental unit and surrounding area. Only drawback we saw was the steps to get from parking area to building where the elevator is located. Other than that everything was perfect! Very pet friendly area and so much to do.

Mold/Mildew Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself is nice and well laid out. However, the second we walked in there was a really strong mold/mildew smells that was coming from the guest bedroom. We noticed everything was really “damp” everywhere due to them basically turned off the air conditioning and allowing humidity to build. There are zero fans in this unit other than those in the bathrooms. We turned the AC on and it helped get the dampness out but the bedroom still smelled horrible. After one night my kids woke up being sick. Called the rental company and they sent someone who sprayed CLR and said to us it looks like mold. Told rental company who sent me back a very rude message saying that the technician said “it could be so I sprayed for it”. Like I was bothering her worrying about our health. We also said what he sprayed wasn’t for mold. Sent someone else, that person came and sprayed something that did actually help and both guys agreed the smell, air quality was not good. We ended up stripping the kids beds and washing everything to get the awful smell out. Their room smelled this badly 3 of our 5 nights. When I said we couldn’t stay if they couldn’t fix the problem i got more very rude emails. Basically saying it was allergies and we hadn’t left the bathroom fans on or kept their doors always open (sorry for closing the bathroom door while in use). The problem was whoever turning off the AC between visitors and not having any kind of air circulation. Also, mold/mildew effects everyone and is toxic, not an allergy. No apology. No offer of anything for having wash all the linens. I cannot stress the awful smell that got into everything including all our clothes we had to wash when we got home. Will no be coming back to any unit in this section or booking with this company again. Had much better experience using a different property management company.

The condo is nice

Great location, unit is nice. We were there for the Concourse, March 7-11. Our problem came after we were home. Got an email saying the guests after us said we must have had a dog in the unit because it smelled. The rental company wanted to charge us to have it disinfected. We flew in so no dog and cleaned extremely well before we left. When I called and talked to Amelia Island rentals I found the cleaning lady said it smelled. I said she must have had the wrong condo. They were very nice and told me not to worry about it. I honestly don’t know what the solution would be except to have someone inspect before you leave. Please just be aware.
