Late review to a nice getaway

Property does need a bit of an upgrade. Other than that it was very spacious and had all the needed amenities for our group of 10 adults and 2 kids. We would definitely rent again!

The house is nice for it's cost. Renovation is needed, but overall its a good vacation house for our needs.

My family and I planned a trip for Mother’s Day weekend and this was the perfect house. There was a lot of space. The house is in an ideal location. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We would stay at this property again. 10/10; we would recommend!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We left immediately!!!

Looks NOTHING like the pictures!Mold & water leaks in walls Broken windowCar air fresheners hanging from ceiling fansSpaghetti on the wallBroken closet doorsBroken furniture Broken bedsFilthy bedding, mattresses and pillowsStained furnitureThe entire house was disgusting, destroyed and smelled like mold from the obvious water leaks in the walls.We had to book 2 more places to house my family, as there was an event in the area and everything was booked. Cost me thousands!

Awesome Place!

We stayed here for our family vacation. Our entire family loved it. There is plenty of space. It’s close to the beach and lots of restaurants. We had no problems! It’s the perfect place for a larger group!!

I ABSOULTELY LOVED THIS HOUSE!!!

This house was nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend it. The owner was available for anything that I needed and responded in a timely manner. I will be staying here anytime I come to the area and suggest that you do the same. It was very spacious, clean, and just all around amazing. Did I say how much I loved this place?

My only complaint is that we had a broken toilet seat, the owner said someone would come out to fix it but no one ever came. No big deal I would stay here again EASILY

Nice house but the owners pop up unannounced

The pool and the jacuzzi were amazing. The house was nice but there were dead bugs in one of the bedroom drawers. The owners were quick to respond however they did stop by unannounced so be aware that they may do a “pop up”.

Disappointed

Pros: good communication with host and easy check in process. Pool was heated to a usable temp. Decent covered patio. With 2 nice chaise lounge chairs. Ample parking for 5 cars. Con: floors were very dirty. The whole house is in need of upkeep. Only 2 of the 5 showers hadHot water.. the beds were aweful. Bedding stained.. not enough linens to accommodate the guest count. The towels provided were torn and thread barren. There are several places in the house that require a step up or down. We had a senior citizen with us that made it a challenge. As we thought it was a single level house. The beds all need to be replaced starting with the frames. No working exhaust fans in some of the bathrooms. Broken windows that weren’t replaced instead just caulked over. No manual to tell you what day garbage day is or when to expect people coming into the backyard to do landscaping or pool stuff.doors you could hardly open and close because they are falling off the hinges. No remotes had working batteries. The filter in the main fridge needed to be replaced. Toilet seats that were about to fall off. Dirty towel left in the corner of a closet. Dead bugs and dirt on the floors in every room. Overall, for the price point on this “mansion” as described by the host is way way too high and not worth the money. We would not recommend this rental. We did not reach out to the host during our stay.

The house and pool/patio area is quite nice, homey and perfect for respectful group activities.

The fact that this property publicized sleeping accommodations for 16 people and does not state the extreme limitations for parking of vehicles is the only real objection to staying here. That restriction MUST be publicized up front and recommendations for other parking accommodations is critical. Owner should make arrangements with nearby commercial establishments for parking use, even if a small payment is required. The constant threats of being evicted if the 4 vehicle limit is breached is unacceptable.

Needs a little TLC but great for families

This property was very nice, but is rough shape. Cons: Only a few of the lights worked, there was no broom to clean the floors with. The floors themselves were pretty dirty when we arrived. Had to wear shoes in the house or your feet were black from dirt. Cabana in the pictures was thrown behind some over grown palm trees. Mattresses were about 6 inches thick so you do need to add extra blankets to put under you. The pillows were the same, very thin. The neighborhood was okay. One block from a casino. Pro's- Taylor was very helpful. Quick to take care of any issues, place was large and everyone was able to have their own space. Pool and hot tub were nice. It worked for what we needed for 3 families. We had a total of 8 adults and we did have a lot of fun. Would come back and I do hope our suggestions are taken into consideration.

My family and I booked this property for a two night stay because we were in town for a concert. We had 5 adults and 4 children in our group: I will preface this review by saying that I did not contact the host because we were only there for two nights and were hardly at the house. However, for the price we paid, we expected much better accommodations. The photos listed are not accurate to the state of the home. The house is old and in need of repairs. The furniture is old and in Poor condition. The beds are not comfortable and the pillows were flat, yellow and stained. Kitchen chairs and bedding are stained. There were no kitchen towels,or washcloths. Towels in the bathrooms were in poor condition and were fraying. The beds were not comfortable. The home itself was dirty. Floors were filthy and we found dead roaches in most of the rooms. The bathrooms had been cleaned, but the rest of the house was unkept. There was roach and bug feces and almost every kitchen drawer that we opened. At night, we observed several large live roaches in the kitchen and other areas of the home. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and the coffee maker looked as if it had never been cleaned. I would not recommend this home to anyone at the price point listed. It is in desperate need of a pest service and updated amenities.

Definitely not what pictures depicted!!!!

This property definitely wasn't what the pictures on VRBO depicted!!! The property was very dirty. Trash through out the yard(used mask, broken glass, baby pacifier, cans etc..). Most of the lights didn't work or didn't have bulbs. No warm water in one of the showers, very loud furnace, broken blinds in most of the rooms. Had a broken toilet seat for 6 of the 7 days even though we told maintenance on the second day. I will say that even though our refrigerator didn't work for the first 2 days, the owner did bring a replacement on the third day. The pool is probably the only saving grace for this place. Definitely wouldn't recommend!!!!

Great place for a large group

When it was time to check in, it was a little hard to get the key code, had to text, call and message and was asked "which house" I was staying at. It made me a bit nervous as there were people relying on me to have a place to stay. House smelled of weed when we entered and found a joint out back(not a huge deal but some girls were bothered by it). It slept all of us semi comfortably but beds are hard and new linens are definitely needed(pilling). Bathrooms were clean enough but shower liners were mildewed. Kitchen trash is small and broken, coffee pot has no drip piece (made a huge mess when pot is taken off warmer) and there are MINIMAL dishes/utensils. Outdoor space was well used and enjoyed. Pool could use daily cleaning or filter as it got foggy after one day. Jacuzzi cover is broken making it hard to get on/off. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, and a train runs through. Overall we enjoyed our stay because it was more about being together than where we stayed. If you are ok with a "bachelor pad" then this is a perfect place for you.

Older house, pictures very deceiving

We arrived at the property before check-in time. Taylor allowed us to hang out out back until the house was ready which was very accommodating because we didn’t have a rental car to go anywhere else. Once we got into the house we realized it wasn’t as nice as it looked…the pictures look nothing like what you are getting. The furniture isn’t what it looks like, no decorative mats, towels or shower curtains. The only bath towels provided were left over beach towels that people forgot to take. The breaker had tripped on one side of the house so the window ac units weren’t working and it was very hot. The thermostat read 80 but we figured it was from the cleaning lady coming in and out. The entire stay, the ac never got cooler than 78 even with the window units running. The pool was dirty and cloudy and I never heard a pump kick on but 1 time in our 5 day stay. I messaged Taylor about that immediately. He said pool people come on Monday and Thursday so they would be there the following morning. After being out by the pool on the first day, we came in to find ants all over the kitchen. Once again I called Taylor and he said someone would also be there in the morning to spray for bugs. The next morning we woke up to a horrific smell, like plastic was burning. We found a very old hot water heater leaking and smoking. I called again to let him know. That was replaced 2 days later. The house slept 14 in bedrooms, anymore slept on the couches. The beds were not very comfy and had random mismatched sheets and comforters. The pillows were pretty much non existent. Taylor was not so great to communicate with..when we spoke at one point he said “You’re not staying in a 5 star hotel, there are going to be ants!” And “A normal temperature of a house in FL is 78 degrees” He was not very customer friendly. His son on the other hand, showed up to do his dirty work and was very nice. He even brought a couple bags of ice because the ice machine was broken on the fridge. Never once did Taylor show up. This place was not worth the money we spent but we made the best of it!

Broken down palace at best

Hi- we were a group of 5 senior couples en route to a cruise and we booked this based on photos and description - the furniture was not the same- worn out and damaged - there was feces from some sort of critters in the drawers in kitchen- the floors and corners were dirty- the walls filthy- the beds were as hard as rocks with terrible bedding- no one got any sleep- on one end of the house the power kept shutting down and we would have to go flip a breaker to get power- the pool and hot tub were dirty- we did not use- there were old clothing articles laying outside / we are a quiet group and left the place cleaner than we found it - the pool sticks didn’t even have tips on them (2 did) It smelled musty inside/ there is exposed piping- it needs a complete renovation and I would nut rec staying here On arrival The patio light didn’t work above the front door so we did not know where to go in and had to use our phone lights - no hot water in one shower- all beds uncomfortable- my lampshade had what appeared to be dark liquid (blood or coffee) dripping down it and most lamps had to be unplugged to be shut off- I have photo proof of everything. - and we did not cause any issues while staying at this home (I’ve noticed that the property manager attacks anyone who gives negative reviews- so just saying we are all 60 plus years old and left place immaculate- no parties and no late nights ) We tried to find another location as no one wanted to stay there but could not find a spot

Great stay with lots of room

A lovely peaceful stay with lots of room. CVS, family dollar and a supermarket nearby was a plus for me. Taylor is a great host very attentive when needed. I would stay again.
