Our cozy basement apartment, custom-designed in 2023, is just half a mile walk to Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro stop, offering a quick 12-minute subway ride to the National Mall. Enjoy city living and historic residential tranquility with access to outdoor space. Situated on a tree-lined street opposite Lincoln’s Cottage, guests can easily walk to local restaurants and bars in the peaceful Petworth neighborhood, providing convenient access to all that D.C. has to offer.

The space
The bright space has floor-to-ceiling glass that opens to a large backyard with ambient string lighting. Enjoy the full kitchen, well-appointed bathroom, two cozy bedrooms with closets, and full-sized washer/dryer. You will also have access to a workspace and dedicated high-speed internet. Each bedroom has its own thermostat control, universal phone charger, and reading lamp.

Guest access
Guests have access through a private entrance to the entire basement level of our home and also shared access to the garden.

Entrance to the apartment is from the street-facing stairs and areaway. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood. We recommend reading the parking signs carefully to avoid ticketing, and weekend/holiday parking has no restrictions. Access to the apartment is through a keypad system.
