Cet appartement est toujours désinfecté par une équipe professionnelle dans tous les check out, contre covid19. Il est équipé de gel d'alcool pour la sécurité du client. Cet appartement dispose de 2 chambres et peut accueillir 4 personnes. Il s'agit d'un logement de 120 m2 meublé avec goût et moderne, avec vue sur le jardin et la piscine.Dans le salon, vous trouverez une télévision connectée, un lecteur DVD et un récepteur de chaîne. Il y a aussi une cheminée pour le froid de l'hiver et une climatisation.Dans la cuisine, entièrement équipée, nous avons un four, un four micro-ondes, une machine à café, un presse-agrumes, une bouilloire et la vaisselle nécessaire pour six personnes. Le salon et la cuisine ont tous deux accès à un balcon donnant sur le jardin et la piscine où vous pouvez trouver une table et des chaises pour que nos invités puissent en profiter au maximum. Il y a aussi une machine à laver.Dans la chambre principale a l'une des salles de bain et l'autre chambre a deux lits simples. Tout l'appartement est climatisé.Il est situé à 50 m du supermarché Pingo Doce, à 500 m du Centro, à 500 m du Centro da vila, à 700 m de la Ria de Alvor et à 1 km de la plage d'Alvor. km de la plage de galets "Praia 3 Irmãos", 3 km du parcours de golf "Penina", 6 km de la gare de "Portimão", 6 km de la gare routière "Portimão", 15 km de la station "Slide and Splash" ", 60 km de l'aéroport" Faro "et situé dans une zone idéale pour les familles et dans une urbanisation.

The property was lovely and clean, overlooked the pool. Kitchen was well equipped and rooms had Aircon. The WiFi never missed a beat..We where contacted to ensure of our arrival time so everything was prepared. Had the room cleaned a week into the holiday which was nice.Plenty of towels.Supermarket over the road and not too far from the main strip with lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Bus routes around local towns and cities or Ubers and taxis. Lovely long beach so take your pick of a cove or a wide open stretch for a swim

Top Class

A fabulous apartment, which was immaculately clean,everything you need for wonderful holiday. Location is really close to alvor center,with a pleasant walk to local bars and restaurants.also a very quite area to stay. Claudio offers a very reliable and efficient taxi service from Faro airport for a reasonable fee. Thank you Claudio for a wonderful holiday ( very relaxing ) Just what we needed.

An incredible month in Alvor! Lovely Casa Mateus, a hidden gem; absolute spotless, close enough to walk to the Centro & the beach & far enough to enjoy peace & quiet. Claudio is an amazing host, very hospitable, knowledgeable & accommodating! Then there are the amazing beaches, weather & local people… See u next year. Another stay

Just recently back from another great stay at Claudios apartment.As with other reviews Claudio is a real gentleman and a credit to his wonderful apartments.This one is so central to everything and very clean and tidy.You will not go wrong if you book this.Claudio will meet you at the airport and return you and will be on hand if you need anything.Hope to stay again in the future. Summer vacation

We stayed for 10 days in this beautiful and very clean appartement. Perfect location for sightseeing and trips all around the algarve. Beaches near by and only a few minutes of walking to the center of Alvor. The appartement had everything we needed. Some of the dishes could be renewed. The pool itself was clean, the area around it just ok. New lounge chairs would have been nice. I would definately book this place again.

Absolutely brilliant holiday the apartment was superb, great location no taxis needed all amenities are walkable. Lovely swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Claudio and family are so nice and the communication between us was excellent. There are no negatives and we hope to come back soon. Thanks Claudio 5 stars Nige and Rose

Back at Lovely Casa Mateus

Another beautiful stay @ Casa Mateus. As before, the apartment is spotless. Claudio, the gracious host is personable, accommodating & knowledgeable! The only good thing about leaving is the thought of returning to this lovely Casa next year. Many thanks to Sara in keeping the apartment sparking clean & being patient as I try to learn Portuguese! Great Apartment

The apartment is great - good size, good layout and well equipped. The pool is lovely and not busy. It's in a great position - slightly out of the centre so it is quiet but only a short walk (5 minutes) takes you into the thick of everything. 15 - 20 minute walk to the beach. There was building working on near the apartment when we were there and it was noisy at times but that will be finished soon so will not be an issue for long. Claudio was a great host too.

2nd Visit to Casa Mateus

We stayed here last year. Perfect for a family holiday, that's why we returned! Lots of new updates; Smart TV, Coffee Machine, Extra Air-conditioning. Claudio really looks after his apartments and everywhere was very fresh & clean. We were sometimes the only family round the pool. Lovely big terrace/balcony area. Great location, facilities and the team who manage are doing a fabulous job. Thank you for the warm welcome (including the fruit & wine). We will hopefully return sometime in the future.

Have been coming to Alvor for nearly 15 years and first time to stay at Claudios apartment.From initial enquiry to return home everything went smoothly.Claudio was at the airport to take us to Alvor and back again.The property was clean and had most things provided for a self catering stay.Location wise it was right beside pingo supermarket and 5 mins from centre.We will be back in Alvor in August not staying at Claudios but have friends who will be so i would have no hesitation in recommending this property for your stay in Alvor.Joe and Maria

Very spacious comfortable apartment. Really well presented and kitted out. Fruit and wine welcoming basket was a lovely touch.Two minute walk into the town centre. Beach about five minutes further. Fifty yards from a great supermarket. A little noise from builders nearby at times but it’s temporary and we were out for most of the day in any case. Overall a great relaxing break Peter & Ailish

Many thanks for your review. I am sorry if the construction disturb you. This is a temporary work and i believe that until the end of the year it will be finished. I always speak whith guys from the construction to avoid noise, and its for sure a lot better then it was in the begining.

Just as good as we remembered it.

We have just returned from our second visit to Casa Mateus. It was just as good as we remembered it from our first stay 2 years ago. Claudio and his team went out of their way to get the apartment ready for us as we had arrived during the morning. Claudio also collected us at the airport and took us back for our flight home. I can't recommend this apartment enough as it is very central and had everything we needed. Claudio provides excellent service and is always just a phone call away if you need him for anything. We will definitely be returning to Casa Mateus at some time in the future. Thank you Claudio!

Wonderful ☀️

From initial enquiry, booking and finally arriving nothing was too much trouble. We were given an extremely warm welcome by Claudio & the fruit and wine were hugely appreciated. We have been to Alvor a number of times but not to this apartment. Great location, peaceful but very close to a supermarket and village is a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and nice walks nearby. The apartment looks great on website/photos but is even better when you arrive. Very clean & well equipped. We wanted for nothing. Claudio was at hand if required & extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely return. Thank you Claudio & Ana for providing us with a great apartment and brilliant service.

Comfortable apartment

A comfortable 2 bed apartment, owned by a very helpful and friendly family. The welcome was very warm, as was the apartment with the wood burning fire being lit, as well as a nice welcome pack of basic foods, fruit and wine. The living room was also nicely decorated for Xmas. The living areas and bedrooms are very nice and comfortable and the property has a good size balcony that gets sun in the afternoon. We thought the bathrooms let the property down some what. Old fashioned shower curtains rather than screens and a number of cracked tiles and holes in the walls where fittings had been removed. The owner had said he hoped the work on the adjoining building site would be finished by the time we arrived. Unfortunately that was not the case. At times it was rather noisy, especially if sitting on the balcony. I guess in 3 or 4 months most of the work should be finished. On Xmas eve the owner and his wife visited us and gave us a Portuguese Xmas Cake which was very kind. He also dealt very quickly when we had a problem with the hot water and called to say good bye just before we left.

APPARTEMENT TRES AGREABLE

Malgré la fraîcheur de l'appartement à notre arrivée (13°C dans les chambres),qui peu à peu s'est réchauffé grâce au feu de cheminée et à la clim réversible, nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L'appartement est très bien équipé, Claudio a pensé à tout, sauf peut-être à prévoir un peu de sel, huile, vinaigre pour les séjours de courte durée. L'appartement est bien situé, proche du centre ville et d'un supermarché. Et les femmes ont droit à une petite attention à la fin du séjour!

Merci pour votre commentaire. Le froid dans les chambres peut etre comande avec le chauffage dans l'interior. La temperature dans l'Algarve dans ce moment c'est três bás, ce qui provoque toutes les maisons plus fraiches. J'aurai plus d'attencion á ce detail et allumé la chauffage avant l'arrivée des clientes. Le sel, huile, vinaigre, ne peut pas mettre dans l'appartement parce que la loit portugaise ne permet pas. Notre enterprise n'est pas les aliment's mais l'hébergement. Tout les opinions de nos clientes son't três importants pour nous. J'apprecie la sincerité qui nous ferons améliorer les aspect parlé. Merci beaucoup
