SOL RIO development is situated in a quiet but convenient location. The many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are a go short stroll away and the well stocked Ping Doce supermarket is a 5 minute walk. The pool and gardens are peaceful and private with stunning views over the estuary towards the beach. Alvor's stunning beach is a leisurely 10 minute stroll away.
This contemporary, fully air conditioned apartment includes one large bedroom with two single beds and ample storage space. There is a private terrace from the bedroom. There is additional sleeping for two further guests on the sofa bed in the living area.
The spacious open plan living area includes a comfortable sofa, dining area with seating for four. From the living area there is direct access to the large private terrace and from there to the gardens and pools.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, hob and oven allowing easy self catering and the large terrace is ideal for dining al fresco or just enjoying the sunset.
The fully tiled, good size bathroom includes bath with shower over, basin (with storage under), toilet and bidet.
The apartment provides everything needed for a relaxing stay in a perfect location.
There is superb outdoor furniture on the private terrace both for dining and relaxing and additional reserved sunbeds beside the pool, which can be accessed directly from the terrace.
There is underground parking and the development has secured entry.

We first visited Sol Rio in 2011 just after it was finished and were not disappointed. In fact we hadn't even left to come home before we had booked for the following year! The development is small (just 30 units) so the gardens and pool are never crowded. Often (even in August) we have the entire pool to ourselves! We bought our first apartment at SolRio in 2013 and it quickly came apparent that demand was so great that if we wanted to enjoy the apartment ourselves and share with guests we would buy another as soon as one came available - and now we have three!
Before buying we looked at other apartments in Alvor, but somehow none had the 'special something' that is Sol Rio - the fabulous location, the contemporary style, the 'at home' feeling.
The apartments are very much our home away from home and we aim to make our guests feel welcome and at home. We hope, like us you will enjoy your stay in Alvor and return many times. We were excited to be able to purchase two more apartments at Solrio. This allows us greater flexibility when visiting with friends and family and also means we can provide even more guests with their ideal holiday accommodation.
