Madison at the Square est très proche de nombreuses attractions du parc historique d'Overton, notamment les sentiers Old Forest, le Levitt Shell et le Brooks Museum.

The house is well-appointed, in a great area (very close to Overton Park) and overall a fun place to stay. The hosts are very responsive, and the house was a delight.

Very convenient location less than a block from Overton Square. The house from the street doesn't have the most amazing curb appeal, but I'd say the pictures are a good representation of the property. It was very clean. The house is old, so has all of the things that come with an old house - squeaky floors, doors that don't quite close, etc. But we really appreciated having the king room for my parents and the back twin for me. Two seating areas for us to watch football at night and have coffee in the morning. No problem sharing a bath. Would have been tight to park two cars in the driveway but possible. This VRBO was much better than the handful of others I've tried in Memphis!

Perfect location

We have a dancer at Ballet Memphis and this location was outstanding. The home is very well appointed and comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend.

Great location with character

We had a great time in Memphis. It was so great to be able to walk to dinner, shops, and coffee. We were never more than 15 minutes away from the places we were exploring. The house is older and we liked the Memphis decor. The host was responsive and gracious.

We had a nice stay at Chris and Debbie's place. The location was ideal being walking distance to many attractions and food and the place was just as described. It was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would stay here again on a return visit and highly recommend!

Great Memphis charm

I was born & raised in Memphis but moved away a decade ago. So in planning my first visit back I wanted a place in the heart of things and knew right where to look, and I found this place within a mile of where I used to live. This place fit the bill perfectly. The hosts were very responsive and worked with me on several questions and it made my stay here exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Daughter’s Birthday Trip

We came to Memphis for my daughter’s birthday. She wanted to see Graceland. I looked for a property with good reviews and in a good neighborhood. I found this property and decided to give it a try. This house was perfect for our stay. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts was because the house needs a little remodeling done due to some structural imperfections. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again if we ever go back to Memphis.

Most responsive host ever in my experience of worldwide travel. Immediate & helpful replies to questions or concerns (which were few). Clean, quiet, comfortable home in a safe residential neighborhood within walking distance to cafes, bars, restaurants, & most importantly, the venue for the Indie Memphis Film Festival. Chris & Debbie provided every imaginable amenity - including GOOD coffee! Will definitely stay again if available next year for the Festival😊

Nice spot for a few days

This is an older home in a nice area. I had a little issue with the key box, but the host called me immediately and opened the key box remotely. Overton Square is walkable, so we were able to walk down the road for food and drinks.

We loved the location so close to Overton Park. Owner responded promptly to our questions and provided a great online guide for the Memphis area and for staying at the home. Updated, nicely decorated, and comfortable home with everything that we needed for our stay.

Tons of Character!

Very clean home, my wife and 3 boys stayed here recently and it fit everything we needed! Only thing that wasn't PERFECT was the front room with pullout was very bright for my 6 year old to get sleep, mixed with a couple loud cars on the street driving by.(porch light doesn't turn off and location trade off is that home is so close to great nightlife, but traffic is traffic lol) Host offered to try to help us figure something out with porch light but we just decided to make it work. We'd stay again as it was very affordable and worked well for us. Shower was nice and Small kitchen and gas range was wonderful :)

Top lodging in Memphis

To be brief, the reviews below do not lie. On the contrary, Chris and Debbie's vacation home is simply beautiful, well located, very spacious and super well equipped. Fantastic base to explore Memphis and the surrounding area.... and to recover on the porch afterwards. So, without any doubt, 5 stars from the Belgians also. ;-)

Great little getaway in the heart of it all!

This little home was great for our purpose. We just wanted a little getaway that was in town, and this fit perfect! It is close enough that we could have walked to many places if we so chose. Amazingly, even though it was in the middle of everything, it was also very quiet. We rarely heard any traffic at all. It is listed as a 3 bedroom, and it is, with some caveats. One of the bedrooms is in the absolute back of the house and only has a curtain, not a door. Another bedroom is the very first room you walk into, so you have to walk through this bedroom to get in or out of the home. For most renters this wouldn't be an issue, but if you have teenagers, well, it would be easy for them to get in or out without being noticed. Just give them a different bedroom. The beds were very soft and luxurious. The couch was great for lounging around while watching tv. And the kitchen was very cute! Love the remodel!! My husband even took pictures of the bathroom, so I think I may be getting an upgrade at home soon! The digital guidebook helped us find new restaurants to try and suggested some great sightseeing. We did have a little trouble when we first arrived, but it turned out to be VRBO issues, not the owners, and Chris was great at getting it all solved and handled in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend both Chris and this house!

Great Stay

This was the perfect location. Very clean and spacious. We were visiting from out of town for the holiday. I was able to cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner for my family at ease with practically everything that I needed.
