Il Giardino del Fauno est une suite calme et élégante immergée dans un jardin paisible à trois niveaux (500 mètres carrés avec parking privé). C'est le point de départ idéal pour découvrir tous les secrets de la côte amalfitaine, le littoral classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO comme paysage culturel.

Immergé dans un jardin odorant de citronniers et de roses, cet élégant refuge est entièrement rénové. Il est situé dans le coeur de la côte amalfitaine, dans le centre historique de Maiori, un charmant village à cinq kilomètres de la ville d'Amalfi. Il peut accueillir deux à quatre personnes (lit queen-size et un canapé-lit).

Vous trouverez de auprès de fournisseurs de haute qualité, de WiFi gratuit, TV 3D, système de cinéma maison, Sky TV SAT (Paytv inclus), climatisation, douche chromothérapie, une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée (réfrigérateur et congélateur, lave-vaisselle, comptoir de meubles contemporaine vivante , couverts, plats en céramique fabriqués à la main et des tasses, pots ...) et un jardin d'herbes fraîches, la touche finale à élever vos plats de la cuisine italienne.

Best House in the Amalfi Coast

This was my third year staying at the house in Maiori. It is the best place to stay in my opinion. The house is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and the ferry. Check in is very easy - Gian Luca met us at the door. I also loved the new addition of the jacuzzi! Will be back next year.

Perfect Home away from home

The villa was the perfect home away from home. My son and I recently stayed here and it was lovely. Gian Luca was so wonderful with communication and very kind and helpful with anything we needed. It was very private, the garden and terrace were beautiful and spacious. It is in a graat location, So easy to get to restaurants, shops the ferry and the beach and playground were mins away. Thanks for making our first time to Italy so memorable!

This property is in a great location. Very close to the 2 main streets in Maiori. Easy access to Bus stop so you can easily do day trips up and down the coast. Good restaurants very close by. Great communication with the hosts. Just an FYI there’s only a little space heater but there is air conditioning.

Great place to stay in Maiori

We had a wonderful week in this little gem inmidst of Maiori. It is close to all shops, to the beach and restaurants, still a very private place to stay. The garden is wonderful for relaxing, the suite is very well and comfortable equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Sometimes the sound from the neighbouring school's gym was a bit too much, but in the end it didn't really bother us... Chiara welcomed us very friendly, and the gardener who came twice that week was no disturbance at all.

The best house in Italy

I stay here every year. Every summer. It is truly a magical experience. Check in is very easy with Giovanna. She is brilliant and warm. And Giuseppe is a kind man. The lemon tree gardens outside are gorgeous. I encourage everyone to rent this house. It will change your life.

Private hideaway, close to everything!

Villa Rafael was easily the best part of our vacation experience. We split our week between Naples and Maiori, but after staying here, I wish we’d spent the whole week in Maiori. The property manager, Gian Luca, has thoughtfully arranged for every modern comfort while making it feel rustic and rural. He met us with a bottle of wine, gave us a tour, and made himself available for any questions we may have. The property was immaculate, water pressure in the shower was perfect, bed comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor space are really where this property shines. Relaxing in the lemon grove, in the hammock, or in the hot tub were moments that felt so serene! There is a 100 Euro fee for using the hot tub, but this is not unreasonable considering the extra electricity and maintenance time it requires. The other incredible thing about Villa Rafael is that while everything about it and its outdoor areas feel so secluded and private, you are also just steps away from a wonderful cafe, grocery stores, restaurants, and most importantly—the beach! It is the best of both worlds here. I’m hesitant to tell you how incredible it is because that will make it more challenging for me to book again in the future, but Gian Luca and the owners have put so much love and care into this property that it ought to be known. If you want to relax properly without a care and know that everything you could want is still just a 5 minute walk away, Villa Rafael is the place for you.

The house is located in a beautiful setting but could be better maintained

The house is not so bad but not so romantic as expected after a couple of years of exploitation without enough investments! Insufficiently maintained for the asking price per day: . glass outdoor table which was missing an element . mosquito nets completely or partially torn (living room and bedroom) . multiple traces of humidity in the bedroom . paint that bursts into the bathroom above the shower . mildew in shower tiling joints and silicone seals. . waste water draining partially clogged at the sink and in the shower . the washing machine out of order because it lacked a screw to the closing mechanism (repaired by myself) . a remote control of air conditioning out of service . the garden where there is a lot of vegetation only maintained once a week (each Tuesday) . insufficient number of glasses and plates The house is close to a main road of Maiori, the sound of engines and horns is permanent. We were not yet in season! On the other hand, the welcome and the support were perfect, the house was very clean. Special thanks to Chiara and her team. La maison n'est pas si mal mais pas si romantique que prévu après quelques années d'exploitation sans investissements suffisants! Insuffisament entretenue pour le prix demandé par jour: . table extérieure en verre dont il manquait un élément . toile de la tonnelle déchirée . moustiquaires complètement ou partiellement déchirées (living et chambre à coucher) . multiples traces d'humidité dans la chambre à coucher . peinture qui pêle dans la salle de bain au dessus de la douche . moisisures dans les joints de carrelages de la douche et les joints de silicone. . évacuation des eaux usées partiellement bouchées à l'évier et à la douche . la machine à laver hors service car il manquait une vis au mécanisme de fermeture (réparée pas mes soins) . une commande à distance de climatisation hors service . le jardin où il y a beaucoup de végétation seulement entretenu une fois par semaine (chaque mardi) . nombre insuffisant de verres et d’assiettes La maison est à proximité d'une route principale, le bruit des moteurs et des klaxons est permanent. Et nous n'étions pas encore en pleine saison! Parcontre, l'accueil et le support étaient parfaits, la maison était bien propre. Merci à Chiara et son équipe.

Unfortunately this man had to leave the villa in the very middle of his vacation for personal problems not connected in any way to what he wrote in his review. He asked me the money back (notice that the refund is due within 60 days before arrival). Nevertheless I explained to him that I would try my best to rent the villa quickly in order to refund him but unfortunately that did not happen. About the complains, to be honest, I must say that a paint of the villa was already scheduled and has been completed way before this review. The rest of the very very detailed list, already checked and fixed (by the way some things were not correct: the gardner is coming twice per week - Tue and Fri - the garden is really well maintained, the dishes and cups fit for 4 guests (max number of guests of the villa) and there is even more: toaster, boiler, hoven... And sorry if the batteries of a remote control can stop working sometimes...) are only showing the frustration of this guest for not achieving the refund that was really not due to him. Oh I almost forgot: soon after he left (again way before this review) I sent an email to invite him to choose another period to spend in the villa so that I could consider to apply a nice discount (even this not due... but you know... I'm like that... ). Still waiting for an answer! That invitation is still valid dear Raymond but only if you promise to enjoy the villa and the amazing Amalfi Coast and not to close yourself in the bathroom to stare at the silicone seals. Please come back! Really! Arrivederci! Giuseppe

The loveliest home in the Amalfi Coast

I was beyond sad to leave this charming house and its three levels of lemon tree gardens. The location was perfect and often, I did not want to leave the house to explore--it was so beautiful. The hosts and property manager Guiseppe and Giovanna showed me more kindness than I can ever explain. When I got sick, Giovanna kindly walked me to the doctor and translated for me. Please stay here if you have the chance. An amazing experience!

A slice of heaven!

Lovely secluded oasis right near the beach in Maiori! This apartment is clean and beautifully designed and the garden setting is serene. Both the manager, Maria, and the owner were welcoming and attentive to our needs. It was easy to visit the more touristy towns of Amalfi and Postiano from Maiori, but we were happy to be able to escape the sea of crowds. We spent two wonderful days at the beach which is a short walk from the apartment. Or only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Amazing stay! Would def stay again!

Perfect place to stay especially for those looking for long term! The place is down the road from the waterfront and the perfect place to choose to stay in the amalfi area! It has more locals than tourists and is pretty flat for amalfi area, no need to climb any steps or stairs. The villa is very cute one bedroom and spacious outdoor area. We didn’t use the outdoor space much but for longer stay would. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the wash and a blimp with the Wi-Fi but Giovanna was super quick to respond and come over so quickly to fix any issues we had!

Il proprietario vi chiederà successivamente se sarete interessati alla prenotazione di un posto auto a pagamento con una tariffa di 15.00 euro giornaliera, e quindi ne dedurrete che la villa non abbia in dotazione un posto auto. Non è così! La villa ha un posto auto interno che non verrà utilizzato in quanto il proprietario vi farà parcheggiare l'auto a 300mt di distanza davanti ad un box auto di sua stessa proprietà e non custodito. Tra l'altro, a 20 mt di distanza, c'e' un vero e proprio parcheggio che vi permette di parcheggiare l'auto custodita alle stesse tariffe. Quindi vi invito a pretendere il posto auto in villa. Inoltre, l'aria condizionata in camera da letto non funzionava in quanto non c'era gas. La tv in camera da letto trasmetteva solo canali internazionali eccetto rai 1. La tv nel living room, prometteva collegamenti a pay per view etc, ma niente di tutto questo, o quanto meno chi ci ha fatto accedere all'immobile non ci ha spiegato come abilitare i servizi. Il punto più dolente è il divano letto. Scomodo, vecchio, e malandato. Inoltre, credo che aver pagato 1147.00usd per un totale di 3 notti sia eccessivo considerando tali disservizi. P.s.: consiglio la proprietà di verificare la presenza di roditori in giardino, in quanto abbiamo notato la presenza di escrementi sul tavolo e sedie in giardino. Le note positive sono: 1) LA POSIZIONE CENTRALE 2) TANTO SPAZIO ESTERNO 3) LA PULIZIA INTERNA 4) BUONA ILLUMINAZIONE ESTERNA

Best place, best location!!

This was easily the best stay we’ve ever had. The location is unbeatable, the property is immaculate and absolutely beautiful. I especially loved sitting out in the patio or rooftop at night soaking in the beautiful surroundings. If you stay in the Amalfi Coast, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!

Most magical and stunning villa with it’s own gardens in Maiori!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of spectacular! Perfect location, located near my new favorite espresso spot, restaurants, shops and of course the majestic sea! Quite Respite in Maiori

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Giardino del Fauno. Very clean and comfortable one bedroom detached home with beautiful gardens. The unit is very private and steps away from the town center, no hills to climb or stairways (unique for the area), and steps from the beach. Off the beaten path compared to other touristy spots like Positano or Sorrento. Quick & inexpensive access to the other villages on the Amalfi coast via Ferry if you wish. There are 4 levels of gardens. It was so nice to enjoy the outdoor/indoor spaces. Modern bath with rain shower, full kitchen with all the appliances and a washer at the side of the house. Chiara met us at the house on arrival and departure to explain everything we'd need in the home. Super!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

The property is amazing! It is just as advertised and is a really special place to stay! We loved the beautiful, modern house and the serene gardens. Communication was really good before we arrived and we were greeted warmly by chiara on our arrival. The house is in a really good location and we enjoyed visiting the busier towns like positano and amalfi and coming back to a lovely house in the beautiful town of maiori. Can't recommend it enough!

Maiori Getaway

We stayed in Rome for a few days before taking the train into Naples and then we were picked up by a car service and in 1-1/2 hours we were in Maiori. The apt and garden were a quiet little paradise. Guiseppe communicated well through every step of the reservation process. Chiara, that met us there upon check in explained everything and was a delight. We were able to easily walk around Maiori and had a driver take us one day along the coast. The apartment and beautiful garden was perfect and we will return. Thank you!

Ottima la casa e ottima la posizione. Facile, da Maiori, raggiungere tutte le località della costiera Amalfitana. Grazie a Giuseppe, il proprietario, sempre disponibile!
