Kihei bénéficie de la plus faible quantité de précipitations et des meilleures vues de Kahoolawe, Molokini et Lanai visibles sur l’océan. Si vous vous rendez au bon moment, vous aurez peut-être un aperçu des baleines qui migrent vers Cove Park Bay!

Après une journée ensoleillée d'eau salée et de soleil, dirigez-vous à l'intérieur pour une soirée de détente dans votre chez-vous hawaïen. Détendez-vous avec un bon film sur la télévision à écran plat, pendant que vos amis plongent dans la piscine communautaire située au-dessous.

Here are the positive things about this condo, It is in a Great Location for walking, lots of shops and places to eat near by, The food trucks and the farmers market/garden area behind it is so cute. The condo was quiet and everyone was very nice. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The maybe not so great things. The condo it self was just ok, it could use updating, and it wasn't very clean, whoever you are using to do your cleaning is not doing a very good job. The shower could use a very deep clean, the shower head is just awkward if your over 5'7. the bed is very uncomfortable is is a lot higher than the end tables next to it. The AC in the bedroom was only allowed to be on for 1 hr a day. and it gets very hot back there, the fans didn't blow very much air, they need to be cleaned or replaced. The AC in the main part of the house leaked so much that we had to keep cleaning up the water, and someone complained about it and the maintenance guy came and said the owners were told to fix it awhile ago. You pay cleaning fees but are told to do the laundry and clean the place before you leave. Seeing as how it wasn't very clean to begin with I'm not sure what the cleaning fee is for exactly. However, we enjoyed our time here and would come back again. Maybe not to this condo but to another one in the building maybe.

Solid place !

I really was thankful how easy and no hassle it was to check in after a long flight and how close the location was to our favorite beaches. A lot of resorts or condos are really stuffy and this had a good vibe and it seems like many of the tenants were locals. The balcony was amazing for sunsets. Very comfy pull out couch though which is hard to come by ! Would totally stay again. Right around from the best bars and snacks in Kihei. See you next time !

This was a vary nice and clean condo we stayed at. Great view of the ocean and walking distance of everything. Everything you need is pretty much provided. They have a great guide book that helped us figure out where to visit. Highly recommend this place.

We found everything to be as we expected. Very easy to work with and very helpful with any questions we had. Found this to be in the middle of the places we wanted to visit and found it close to many food trucks and local restaurants that could be a short drive or a short walk. Beachs and parks very close. The ocean is in view and sun set if you wanted to sit on balcony. Thank you.

Disappointed!

This unit was a disappointment. The first morning after our arrival we went to make a pot of coffee and the coffeemaker did not work. We contacted our contact person and advised them, they were aware there was a broken one but thought there should be another coffeemaker in the unit, there wasn't...no problem they will get a replacement to us that day. The replacement coffeemaker was delivered that afternoon...it was disgusting!!!! It was not new, it had guck stuck to the hopper where you put the filter in, where the hopper dispenses the water through the coffee grounds there was gravel/sand stuck in it. So we wash and clean the unit and we run it with no coffee in it to make sure it did work. It did, but you had to stick a little piece of wood under the glass coffee pot so that the water/coffee would run from the hopper to the pot. This worked until the last couple of days before leaving. We made coffee in the morning and all the grounds from the coffee came through to the top of the coffee pot and low and behold so did a bunch of gravel/sand. WHERE HAD THIS COFFEE MAKER BEEN! Given a used, dirty coffeemaker is unacceptable, it should have been new! We didn't contact out contact person again because we spent the time to clean up the unit and secondly we didn't want to waste time waiting for another replacement. As far as the cleanliness, it was very poor. All the doors are filthy, dark dirty finger marks etc.. At the bottom of the shower doors there was built-up grime. I don't think the floors have been mopped in some time. There are filthy dirty floor matts through out the unit. This unit has a glass dinning table and coffee table which need cleaning after use but there isn't a single cleaning product in this unit. The fridge leaked water onto the top shelf so we had to put a bowl at the back under the freezer. In the fridge there were condiments left over probably from other renters, which is a nice thought but most of them had expired over six months ago. In your check-in instructions you mention that we would be contacted the day before we leave, that did not happen. We called them the day we were leaving. We followed your instructions for leaving to the letter and more, hoping that the next guest had a little bit cleaner unit.

The homeowner has very high standards for their property, and they're sorry to hear that's not what you experienced during your stay. It's our understanding that you reached out to the emergency contact regarding the issue with the coffee maker, so they scrambled to find a new coffee maker for you. Had you reached out to the owner first, they would have been happy to help provide you with a coffee maker more up to their standards. The owner has not previously received complaints regarding the cleanliness of the condo. They wish you would have reached out regarding your cleanliness concerns as they would have been happy to go to generous measures to make things right. The owner supplies basic condiment essentials in the fridge for the comfort of their guests. Their cleaning crew also always ensures that these condiments are sanitary and not-expired. We also understand that there's nowhere in the listing that states the owner will call you before your check-out, but we're so sorry if that was confusing. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, this owner is accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and we feel confident future guests will have exceptional stays. Best, the Evolve Team

Pros: Chuck was an excellent host. Location fabulous. Front room stayed nice and cool. Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to skate park Cons: bedroom would benefit from another AC unit; got very hot even with windows opened. Wished pool was opened later ex 10-11pm.

Splendid home away from home!

Chuck and Luanne's condo was so pleasing in atmosphere and decor, ocean view, lanai balcony, and location was most convenient. Kalama Park across the street, and all the shops and restaurants hop and skip next door. The condo itself was equipped with every practical item one could desire for making meals, snacks, plus the washer/dryer and appliances were topnotch. The bathroom, a beautifully upgraded was most appreciated. New flooring throughout, and bedroom on the back side of the condo was quiet and cool for sleeping. TV in both bedroom and living room were nice for those minutes to check the news, and wifi worked perfectly. Counter in kitchen with sturdy stools became our 'hearth,' and the pretty glass table top dining set for four was nice for granddaughter and friends when visiting. Comfy sofa and loveseat and the decor just made the condo experience all Maui magical. I would love to stay here again. The small pool was a nice option on a couple of the warmer, low breezy days. The place has everything, and the perfect 'base camp' for those who like to venture out for attractions and come home to full comfort. Parking in back was convenient and elevators work smoothly. From Island Surf, all the places anyone would want to explore makes for an ideal lodging. I caught most every sunset by walking a couple minutes to the shoreline. Thanks to the gracious hosts, and thanks for calling prior to my arriving to fill me in on great places to eat and recommendations for activities. Was so nice to have Foodland just five minutes walk away for stocking up for the stay, and various suggestions Foodland carries. Aloha!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Kihei Condo. We had our 7 month old and it made it very convenient to be close to everything literally walking distance. Chuck was very nice to call us the day we arrived to make sure we were happy with our stay and had everything we need. The condo had everything you need form boogie boards to snorkel gear to towels laundry soap and just all the items you wished you had in your house was there. We are definitely coming back and would love to stay in the condo again. High high stars for this place.

This place is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Kihei! You can walk easily to restaurants, grocery, and a busy little tourist market. The Cove Beach is a great little beginning surf spot and the biggest rental and lesson place is right outside the lanai and down a few floors. A short drive gets you to a bunch of other beaches with great snorkeling, boogie boarding, and swimming. Kihei Caffe opens at 5:00 am and has a friendly staff. Great running routes if you go up the hill to Kanakanui and then wind back through neighborhoods.

Kihei Gem!!

We stayed in Chuck's property from 7/14/16-7/25/16. We cannot say enough good things about his property! The location was perfect for us since it was centralized to everywhere we had planned to go. Being right across the street from Kam II Beach, meant that my son and I could get up at dawn to surf, and then be showered and ready for the day's activities by the time the rest of the family would get up. Also after sightseeing and doing activities, we would have time to walk across the street again to swim and catch the sunset. The property itself was perfect for our family of four. Chuck was great at recommending lots of restaurants and places to see. Towards the last few days of our stay, there was a Typhoon that had made it's way to the island. We ended up having to extend our stay, and Chuck was very flexible at accommodating us! When we return to Maui, we will definitely request to stay at Chuck's property again.

Amazing condo, Fantastic Owners - BEST VRBO EXPERIENCE IN MAUI

My boyfriend and I came to visit Maui prior to Memorial Day and this condo and our experience with the owners, was the best I've had from VRBO in Maui. I lived in Kihei for 2 years and we were looking for a location close to my best friends, and specifically Island Surf. I've stayed in Island Surf and had some friends living there so I have been in a few different units and this one was the cleanest and most comfortable one we have been in. The bed was comfortable and clean, the kitchen was without any sugar ants (which is impressive in Maui), a full kitchen with up to date appliances and a kick ass ice maker in the freezer. The washer dryer was great and we appreciated that there was soap for it provided. The view is nothing short of awesome, overlooking S Kihei Rd, and into the cove. As a diver, it was perfect to be below Maui Dreams to pick up and drop off my tanks. I like being on Kanani because it was a quick trip up to the highway so we can avoid turning onto S. Kihei, which for me is a bonus to get to the beaches we hang out on. The BEST part about this is that the condo was pet friendly. Although I ended up not bringing my dog, it was great to know that she was welcome and we will definitely want to stay in this condo again when we bring her back in a few months. The owners are professional and friendly - they even had a HUGE map of Maui with honest reviews of where to go and what to do. I thought it was AWESOME and wish that someone had done that the first time I visited Maui years ago. The reservation process was easy and I liked that I had personal interaction with Chuck. He answered all of my questions and the booking was easy and painless. We are going back in a few months to visit my friends again and I will definitely be looking to stay in this condo again!
