I’ve stayed here before and love the location and how clean it is. It does need a little upkeep done, however.

You can tell the attention to detail in this rental. The place had a beautiful view, easy access to the beach, all the amenities you could need. We did encounter a small issue with receiving the wrong code to get in but it was resolved VERY quickly and they updated the code for us. The beds were nice and firm, plenty of towels and very comfortable for our family of 4. The only thing that would be nice is there are no locks on the bedroom doors or on the bathroom door in the master bedroom, which we just told the kids to knock and it was fine. It was a wonderful stay and I will certainly book this place again! Probably one of the best vacations my family has had in a very long time.

The view was incredible! Overall, it was a nice property and I would recommend it to others. The place was clean on the surface but needed a deep clean (grime on door/wall, mold on dining room ceiling vent). Check-in process was not as seamless as I would have expected, but may have just been a one-off. We were issued 3 different access codes within the first 24 hours because the provided code would not open the door. I think I had to call 6-7 times over the course of our stay to have them reboot the access code. For awareness, all communication is issued from the property management company via email/text and not via VRBO. One text asked for a copy of my driver license, which I assumed was a scam. I emailed the company directly and thru VRBO and did not receive a response. So maybe adding this information in the listing would help future renters know that communication is sent outside of VRBO. The only other feedback I have is to have instructions for the TV. It was not sync'd to the cable and we fumbled around with it for a good hour. Just a minor inconvenience when you are expecting a seamless experience.

Padre Island Rentals sends arrival information by email and text, and we appreciate your suggestion to make that clearer before arrival. This is one of our highest-rated condos, and we want the cleanliness and communication to consistently meet that standard. We will review your feedback with our housekeeping and guest services teams, including the need for clearer TV instructions. Thank you for choosing our condo. Great location perfect for my family

This place is on the top floor with an incredible view of the ocean, easy beach access, and a pool and hot tub. It's very clean and nicely furnished. This was a nice break from the cold weather where we live and I'd definitely book here again.

Love the view!! It was a perfect spot for the family and its a good size condo for a family of 5. The beach access was convenient but the pool needs a better cleaning.
