Beautiful home located right next to downtown!
Less than 2 minute walk the house is well kept and very clean
The coffee bar was the perfect touch located right across the hall
Outdoor seating was excellent with a nice fan and friendly cat named smudge!!!
Definitely would stay again
Had a very enjoyable stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Washington is a very delightful place to visit. We hope to stay at the Flying Pig again!
The property and hosts are spectacular. The charm oozing from the house is second to none; and, we really enjoyed all the decorations that embodied flying pigs ethos. We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks again Jeff and Linda!!
Betty is a great host and her place is like a home away from home . Second time staying here and we are looking for some dates in the near future to return. Love the Bisbee area!!!
Although we cut our stay short because of weather we enjoyed our brief time in Washington and our stay at When Pigs Fly Inn. It was very pleasant and Jeff was a most gracious host (Linda was out of town so we missed her). It was a great experience in a quaint historic house. Downtown Washington by the waterfront is a lovely revitalized town with interesting shops and plenty places to eat...it's all within a few blocks of the Inn.
If you're in the area you should give it a try.

We loved our stay. We were in for the holidays visiting family and we could not have found a better place for our quick trip. It was warm and inviting like a home but with the privacy of a hotel. We stayed in the Green Room and it was decorated so nice with an antique and historic touch. Itâs close to everything and we enjoyed the waterfront downtown. The hosts Jeff and Linda were very friendly and informative. We just canât say enough good things about our stay. We will be back! -Traci & John
Linda & Jeff were excellent hosts!! They made sure everything was perfect for us!! The house was decorated and very pretty and comfortable! The whole house is georgous!! We plan on staying at When Pigs Fly Inn again!!
Jeff and Linda Provided a very comfortable paradise. There was a coffee bar near our rooms, some breakfast bars and cheese and crackers to hold one over till dinner.
Alll residents during my stay were happy to engage in conversation, toucan become fast friends. The Inn is within walking distance of downtown easily. As well one can walk the waterfront and catch the morning or evening breeze and sunset
Room was very clean and house was quiet. Thank you kids!
This was my first stay in Washington, NC for my work in nearby Greenville, NC. The hosts are very helpful and kind! The home and my room was charming, private and quiet which is perfect! The town of Washington offers lots of choices for eating and close by fishing!
I worry that writing a fabulous review will reveal this gem to more folks and then not be available when I want to come stay again. But, it does indeed deserve a fabulous review. So cute and charming and in the perfect location. You wonât be disappointed if you book a room at this inn.
Friendly host. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Nice shampoo, conditioner, & soap! Complimentary coffee was a plus. Within walking distance to Main Street! I will definitely stay again.
Clean, comfortable room in charming old house close to waterfront. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Pleasant host and nice coffee/tea bar with snacks.
The Frank Moss House is a beautiful and well maintained Victorian era house, located in walking distance to all major downtown venues. The owners (Jeff and Linda) are super hosts as well.
LInda and I looked all over North Carolina for a small beautiful town to settle in. We found what we were looking for in Washington, NC. Our home is just a block from the water and three blocks from the quaint Downtown Harbor District and public waterfront and docks. Sunsets there like you wouldn't believe. We bought a historic home that is on the Historic Districts walking tour and we want to share it. Hope you'll come stay with us. Those who have have really enjoyed it. We think you will, too.
We love being in a this stately home that is so much a part of the fabric of this history of this town. Frank Moss, who built the home, was a leader in the community who's family ties to the area run do. And such a great location. You can walk just about anywhere you'd want to the water, the just a short stroll away.
