Imaginez-vous vous réveiller avec un café du Costa Rica fraîchement préparé et respirer un air pur tout en admirant la vue sur les montagnes pittoresques.

L'appartement est complètement privé et sécurisé loin de la maison principale. Dans une propriété fermée est situé dans un quartier sûr, calme et paisible et est entouré d'un aménagement paysager impeccable et de jardins. La villa présente un décor d'inspiration européenne et des fenêtres offrant une vue incroyable. Profitez d'une tranche de pura vida. Adjacent est une chambre séparée décorée de style anglais avec un lit queen et une salle de bain privée avec une grande douche. Il vient avec draps, serviettes de bain, shampoing, revitalisant et sèche-cheveux. La fenêtre donne sur la montagne et la pièce est très lumineuse. La propriété peut accueillir 4 personnes.

Grands ventilateurs de plafond installés dans la villa. La climatisation de la nature (la brise du Costa Rica) fait le reste! La villa est très sécurisée, entourée de six caméras de propriété en plein air et les propriétaires habitent à côté. Il y a une buanderie sur place.

Situé dans une propriété privée sécurisée à Vista Atenas, ce charmant salon et chambre à coucher dispose d'une petite kitchenette entièrement équipée et d'une télévision et donne sur une magnifique terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne. Le canapé-lit double est confortable et bien placé pour vous permettre de vous lever chaque matin au lever du soleil. Vous pouvez sortir sur un patio avec une table et deux chaises pour déguster une tasse de café du Costa Rica.

Il y a de bons restaurants dans le coin et des endroits où vous pouvez aller en taxi (tarif très bon marché). La propriété est à moins de 10 minutes en voiture du centre d'Atenas. Il y a des cours de yoga tous les jours à Atenas et vous pouvez bénéficier de massages privés à domicile sur rendez-vous. Un excellent acupuncteur est également très proche. Les propriétaires sont heureux de vous aider à prendre des dispositions!Nous sommes à 1 heure de la plage de Jaco, à 35 minutes de San José en voiture et à 25 minutes de l'aéroport San Juan Santa Marina.

Beautiful Mountain View

The property was beautiful, very quiet and private, the little town down the road was very quiet, as well great restaurants. Host couple were very sweet and informational people would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful place to get away

Guida was wonderful, friendly & extremely accommodating. The view from the property is simply stunning. Such an amazing experience to watch the sunrise in the mornings. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Costa Rica. I definitely recommend staying here. Thank you again!

A million dollar view and charming hosts!

Guida and John are wonderful people and great hosts. They went above and beyond, including coming to meet us at a nearby restaurant when we were completely lost! The room was warm and comfortable and spotless. The view was spectacular (we even saw a Toucan fly by!). We would highly recommend this beautiful home away from home and definitely give it 5 stars!

living on the side of a mountain

It's a beautiful location with near panoramic views. The night lights of Alajuela and San Jose are spectacular. Quiet, paved roads allow for a 2 mile walk with moderate ups and downs. We had no car and went into Atenas by taxi for shopping and eating. Taxi was $4 each way. That worked well.

Costa Rica ‘23

This was a beautiful location with jaw-dropping views. The studio had stunning photography personally taken and developed by the host. The studio was also incredibly clean. Communication with the host wasn’t always perfect, but it did work out in the end. Also, a more refined address could be used to ID the destination. Outside of that, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Oh, and I forgot to mention the cows!! We loved them too!

Stunning and Magical

I’m pretty sure I’ve fallen in love…both with the property and our wonderful hosts. Our expectations were exceeded throughout. Guida and John are so lovely and their property is just magnificent. Between the endless view and the magical well-manicured gardens and the comfortable accommodations we felt at home and at peace. A bonus was a platter of fresh fruit, bread and coffee waiting for us upon arrival. So thoughtful. I know that we will be coming back…hopefully very, very soon. I honestly could not recommend this property and these delightful hosts more. Thank you so much Guida and John. Even though I know we will see you again I will never forget you.

Excellent views, lovely unit, you will need a vehicle if staying here, it’s a quiet and private location. When we received our booking from VRBO it stated we could check-in after 11am, when this is NOT the case. In advance we contacted Guida to confirm, and she told us that our booking confirmation was incorrect and we couldn’t check in until 3pm….and even when we arrived there was confusion about which unit we had booked, so our unit wasn’t ready yet.

Stunning view, no a/c

The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. There are aluminum blinds which help lessen the sunlight a bit, but unfortunately they rattle loudly if the wind blows and vents are open to let in fresh air. The biggest complaint was the lack of hot water. We were never able to complete even a short shower without the hot water running out, if there was any to start with.

Welcome to paradise!

We got to the property, in the dark, many hours later than we expected and were greeted by two wonderful hosts! Guida and John were exceptionally kind, more than willing to share their suggestions of places to visit and making us feel immediately at home and welcome! The studio was perfect for us. All the amenities one could need, from beach towels to a bathroom with floor to ceiling glass looking out toward San Jose, many, many km's in the distance! This is a perfect place to drop out! It was peaceful, quiet and the views were serene. We loved watching the cows on the hill as they came and went and the toucans that perched right out our window. The grounds around the property were professionally maintained and absolutely beautiful! Each day something new was blooming. Guida and John shared with us their love of the beautiful tropical plants and we especially loved the orchids that put on a show while we were there! We instantly became friends with Guida and John, even dining out together a few times! They are fascinating individuals and were a delight to get to know! Come, you will be refreshed and won't want to leave!

Supreme service in Paradise

Words can't capture how magical of experience I had with Guida and John at their beautiful home. My first day of arrival I got lost, Guida was so patient with me and stayed on the phone with me until I found the home. I came to my beautiful room greeted with wine, fresh bread butter, chips , salsa, pineapple and papaya. After giving me a comprehensive tour of the space, Guida sat down with me and reviewed what activities I could do during my stay and made recommendations based on my interest on places to go and restaurants to eat at. The trip just got better from there, everyday I got the treat of having quality time with Guida. She checked on me everyday to ask me if I needed anything, made arrangements for me to get two of the best massages I have ever had in my life, she also arranged for me to have a day pass at a 5 star resort. Guida opened up her home to me, her network and her resources to ensure I had a fabulous stay. There is no question I will be back and I have made a connection for years to come. I was traveling alone for a few days away. I felt very safe here on Guida's property. The view is amazing. I enjoyed having coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the mountains. Guida and John are lovely hosts and were very sure to make sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

This is my second visit to this property and it was just as I remembered! So relaxing and beautifully decorated. Guida and John are hosts that do not disappoint and will see to your every need. We will be returning as often as our schedule allows - simply fantastic with stunning views and scenery!

Beautiful spot in Atenas

Stayed here for a quick 2 nights and loved the property. The bathroom is beautiful and the sleeping/living room was the perfect size. There were two small seating areas outside of the casita which were perfect for relaxing and bird watching. The hosts were very welcoming and left us some nice snacks, fresh fruit, wine and water to enjoy in our room. The house is just 10 mins from the center of town where there are restaurants, coffee shops (try Crema y Nata, they make an amazing iced latte) and supermarkets. I highly recommend this property.

Welcome reprieve

What a warm reception from Guida and John. The fridge was stocked with goodies to help us through the first couple of days so we did not have to shop and could just relax and take in the spectacular views of the Central Valley. We found this wonderful spot at the last minute. We were supposed to spend our last days in CR in San Jose in a nice condo but the noise and pollution from all of the traffic forced us to change plans and we really lucked out finding this place. We will be back!

We enjoyed incredible views of the hills surrounding Atenas from this lovely property. Our host Guida made us feel completely comfortable with just the right amount of attention. She was full of great information about how to explore the area and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Best hosts ever!

Guida and John went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Guida met us in town and accompanied us to the beautiful location up in the mountain overlooking Atenas. What a view! And then Guida personally led us to a wonderful local dining spot which we never would have found without her help. She even accompanied us in and made recommendations which we tried and enjoyed. John worked tirelessly for hours resolving an issue with the newly purchased TV in our room. Such gracious and personal attention is what sets a VRBO accommodation apart from a hotel. Thank you so much for your kind attention, Guida and John! You are wonderful folks!

Spectacular!! Beautiful accommodations and enviornment!

Guida and John were excellent hosts providing everything needed to have a wonderful time during my stay! The room was extremely comfortable and had a spectacular view of the valley below with a panoramic view of the city; Atenas! Would highly recommend to anyone a vacation spot. I plan to return soon. The hosts provided me with a beautiful table and chair on the veranda to add to the other amenities provided. Again, an awesome property!
