Overall, this place is ok and clean, though the kitchen lacked spoons. Also, the photos don't quite reflect reality; the place is much outdated than on the pictures, and the sofas set is are different from the one shown. It is very noisy area and if you have a car there is a problem to park it on the weekdays from 6:30-9:30. Not all rooms have air conditioning, so I wouldn't recommend renting this house in the summer.

The place was great. Has a nice, classic look to it. The are around is very busy and loud. Alot of sirens. Its a pretty close walk to everything, a little over a mile walk to most sites. The train station is not very far. Overall the place was great

The good and the bad. The bad was that this property is located on a main and very busy Street. Traffic is going through that street all day and all night with truck buses ambulances and fire trucks so extremely noisy. Neighborhood is okay I'm not the best neighborhood. Distance from the capital is about a 20-minute walk in the White House is about a 40 minute walk. The good is that the property was very clean and spacious with all the essentials. The parking permit was provided so street parking was available and very easy to access

The accommodation is good and very clean, but there are a few issues (some lights don't work, the downstairs bathroom is out of order, and the upstairs bathroom has faulty taps). Otherwise, it's very well located for visiting the museums.

Very centrally located and clean property, but we encountered several functional issues. The water pressure in the downstairs shower was so low it was unusable. We also found the bathrooms lacked towel racks or hooks (even for hand towels), and the rod to open the main blinds was broken.The kitchen was not well-equipped for a group—for example, there were only 4 spoons provided despite the property sleeping 6. Additionally, the TV remote did not work and the Wi-Fi was poor. While the house is in a nice spot, it needs better maintenance and basic outfitting to be comfortable.

Conveniently located in the heart of DC. Be mindful of the parking. Listing could have done a better job at disclosing parking rules especially if you’re staying during the week days. You’d have to move your vehicle before morning traffic or you’re risking getting a ticket or towed. (We did not know this). We appreciated the Pak n play since we had our baby with us. Very traditional row home with some updates

The living room seating does not match the photos. There were only 4 seats so if you have more people, someone will have to sit on the floor. The home is an older home and the upstairs got very warm. There are AC/fan units in two of the three bedrooms but not in the third. The downstairs shower had no water pressure and would not get hot. There had been repairs prior to our arrival. The host had a plumber back out which fixed the water pressure issue, but the handle was installed incorrectly. We had been told there was parking available only to be told just several days prior to our arrival that "new" parking regulations wouldn't allow parking out front during certain times. The regulations were obviously not new and the listing needs to be updated with more detailed information on the parking situation. It was manageable but an unneccesary surprise. The Internet was not working at the house and was not corrected during our stay. Communication prior to the trip was minimal at best with weeks in between responses. Communication during the stay was more responsive.

The house itself is quirky, but nice. It was very clean and everything was there that we needed. We weren't planning to be there most of the day. I'm assuming this may be a new. There are some things that are fairly easy to correct that would make customers happier.Bathrooms are tight to get into. They really need towel hooks, especially for hand towels so they aren't on the floor. We do not live in the city, so it would have been nice if we were informed of the parking situation beforehand. We may not have rented a car that needed moved at 5am. The internet never really worked. We had to keep using our own hotspot. In the city, it should be very fast. It was difficult to communicate. Only messaging through the app instead of a phone number. We weren't there during the day because we were out doing things. So at 7pm, there wasn't much that could be done to correct Internet problems. Also, we've stayed in VRBO's for many years. I don't believe I've ever stayed somewhere that didn't have a welcome binder of some sort. Again, the owner should assume we don't live there. It should have helpful info. City info, tourist info, transportation info. A number to contact in case of emergency. At the very least, help us support local businesses and give us restaurant suggestions in the area. I know we live in the age of the internet, but insider info is always better.None of this ruined our trip and we made great memories!

Fantastic value, close to bus and metro lines! Hosts were communicative and responded to inquiries. Lovely house, perfect for a family. Had everything we needed. Stayed 6 nights, wish it was more. DC was hospitable and a fantastic city to visit!

Amazing place. We had 3 teens and a preteen and the beds and space was perfect. It is close to the sights. We used lime scooters and drove closer to free street parking. Kitchen and AC were great. High recommend . Safe neighborhood too.
