Just a short 5-10 minute walk (.4 mi) from two metro stations (Shaw-Howard University station & Mt Vernon Sq. 7th St-Convention Center), less than a mile to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Capital One Arena, Gallery Place/Chinatown, City Center, Logan Circle and just a short ride to DC's most memorable touristic attractions such Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, The White House, etc.

In lieu of metro riding, one can also order a taxi or there are plenty of Ubers/Lyfts in area if needed as well as the Capital Bike Share bike and/or portable riding scooters such as Bird, Lime, Spin, etc.

It served our purposes very well. We only used it for sleeping as we were attending a nearby conference. It is sparsely furnished but fine for our purposes. The second bedroom is a Murphy bed with no night stand or bed lamp. Steep steps to entrance would not be for everyone.

Great location in the Shaw neighborhood. Near the Mt Vernon metro station was a plus, using the Metro to get around DC is super easy! The owner is very friendly and responsive. We had an internet issue late on Sunday evening that they were super responsive to. I definitely appreciated that! Has all the conveniences of home. Even has a Kuerig! Entryway and street that it’s on were safe. We were a family of four on spring break and this spot worked out perfectly for us! Don’t hesitate to book!

If you're looking for a beautiful quaint place with easy access to the DC Metro system, with an "EXCELLENT" host, this place absolutely deserves your favorable consideration. This was a three-day "Daddy/Daughter trip" to share the love for a city I once visited on the regular, and eventually lived in for many months. From the moment our visit was booked, Kelly reached out displaying her digital hospitality with a heartfelt "welcome" message. Once we arrived, we were contacted again for the purpose of ascertaining if there was anything needed to improve our stay. Prior to leaving, Kelly asked if an extension was needed to accommodate our travel plans. Although nothing more was needed since the property provided everything, it was thoughtfulness shown that was much appreciated.For those that are unfamiliar with the DC Public Transit System, this property is approximately a 10 minute walk to the Mt. Vernon Metro (Rail) Station. Not to mention it's in a safe neighborhood and a short walk to 9th Street which has a plethora of diverse dining options. All 'n all, this is an "excellent" townhome with an "OUTSTANDING" host.v/RWilliam

This vacation was easy to navigate with smooth booking for accommodations in an excellent location. The Metro is within walking distance to make getting places easier. There are few eateries near the house, but we did a Walmart delivery to save eating out too often especially in the morning. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Safe and friendly neighborhood.

This rowhouse was perfect for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and in an excellent location within walking distance of all of the major sites we wanted to see. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. There were ample restaurants and a large grocery store within a few blocks. If you are into fun divey-not-divey bars, be sure to check out Ivy & Coney, just around the block on 7th. Five stars, all around.

We had a lovely stay at this home. Tastefully decorated and well appointed with all the essentials. It was the perfect spot to stay while in town for a family wedding. It was a great neighborhood with coffee shops and restaurants only a block or 2 away. Highly recommended.

Offering a modern and fully renovated and furnished home that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. This unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen to include a Keurig coffee machine (coffee pods, creamer, and sugar included), cookware, dishes/utensils, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge.

The living room also comes equipped with a 55" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels) and a sofa that will comfortably seat you and your guests and if need be, also serve as a queen sofa sleeper (additional linens & blankets, included). On the main floor you will also have access to a half bathroom as well as an outdoor patio/deck area with a dining/seating area and BBQ propane grill free of use, if needed. Board games such as Jenga, Monopoly, Connect Four, Scrabble, and more are also included for a fun simple night in with family & friends.

There are two bedrooms on the upper level. One comes with a queen size bed, large closet, full body mirror and a 45" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels). The other bedroom/office comes with a queen sized Murphy wall bed that can be pulled down when/if needed. There is one full bathroom (shower) in the unit (upper level) that comes fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and fresh towels and washcloths for the guests use.

Other amenities such as an iron/ironing board, high chair, playpen and baby gates are available free of cost/use, if needed.
