THE KITCHEN & DINING AREA

All the appliances you’d expect to find in a modern kitchen are here – including a coffee machine. Explore the cabinets and drawers to find essentials like coffee, cooking oil, sugar and salt.

Dining tables and chairs both inside and outside the home give you places to sit and enjoy your culinary creations.

THE LIVING AREA
The room are air-conditioned, and feature flat screen smart TV you can watch from super snug couches. The TVs are hooked up to cable, with over 100 free local channels, plus Smart Roku for Netflix, YouTube and Disney+. So, no one should be saying there’s nothing to watch.

THE 3 BEDROOMS

The bedrooms are furnished with 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds, 1 Baby crib with cozy linens, and ample pillows to ensure a restful night's sleep.

• Master Bedroom: 1 King Bed and a Crib with Smart TV for bedroom entertainment. En-suite bathroom.

• Can I check in early or check out late? We offer 1 PM early check-in or 1 PM late check-out for a small fee as we need to hire extra cleaners to expedite

• Is my booking date available? If the listing is visible, your date is open. We have a 0% cancellation rate and promise a 100% refund if we ever cancel your reservation

• Are pets allowed? Yes, pets are welcome! Please add them to your reservation and clean up after your pets during your stay. Let us know if you have any special requests

• How far is the home from specific locations? Use Google Maps with "723 E 22nd St, National City, CA 91950" for accurate distances

• What’s the check-in process? Self-check-in via lockbox or keypad. Instructions are sent at noon on your check-in day

• If there’s gas grill and the propane tank happens to be low, we will reimburse guests for refilling the tank. Due to strict CA law, gas can not be easily delivered.

• Is night-time or same-day check-in allowed? Yes. Even when you book at 10 PM, we will automatically send you check-in instructions seconds after your booking

• How’s the home cleaned? Cleaned with natural products. Because our family cleans our home, we hope guests treat our home like their own.

• Is smoking allowed? No smoking inside, only OUTSIDE the home and further away from the neighbors — please close all doors/windows and collect smoking residues/cigarette butts to prevent the smell from getting into the home

• Security devices on site?
Front door security camera only. Each security camera records the activities of the pathway to the house 24/7 to protect guests and hosts

Noise decibel monitor: 1 device outside the home. Minut noise detector doesn't record anything, just detects the noise level 24/7 to prevent prolonged loud noise events at the home to avoid affecting the neighbors.

• If I book the entire home for 1 person, can I bring as many people as I want?

No. You must book with the correct guest count, including visitors counted as half a guest each, to ensure everyone is authorized.

• Please input the correct guest count in your reservation, including the visitors (counted as half guests) and pets

• Guest needs to present their ID as a part of the check-in process

Key-related issues:
• If you think you may forget/lose the key or lock yourself out of the home, we strongly advise you to place the key back into the lockbox when you go outside.

A minimum fee of $100 may be applied to key-related issues such as forgetting to return keys after checkout, lost keys, locking yourself out and requiring us to travel to bring spare keys, or key replacements, etc.

Pet Reminder: If your dogs bark or potentially make loud noise when they are alone at the house, please bring them with you or place them somewhere quiet to avoid neighbor complaints

Being a San Diego native, the location was perfect. It was centrally located between both mine and my partners jobs, as well as being within 20 minutes of everything SD has to offer. The living room AC took some getting used to, as the display for the remote was broken, however it worked as normal. It got a bit loud at times, but I attribute it to being the one AC trying to cool down a large room. Nonetheless, there were so many windows and you're technically on the third floor, so opening the windows let in a nice, comfortable breeze. The view on the patio is great! You can see the ocean, the downtown skyline, as well as everything between it. Thank goodness this property had parking! The surrounding neighbors are all apartment complexes which could've made parking a nightmare, but because it offered assigned off-street parking, parking was never an issue. All in all, my partner and I enjoyed our 3 nights, relaxed in the comfort of someone elses home and treated it like our own. This is the second property that we've stayed at from this host. They definitely take good care of their properties and I'm looking forward to our next staycation... Hopefully finding another property from this awesome host!
