Relax at this peaceful cabin on Big Manistique Lake in Michiganâs Upper Peninsula. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin has been completely remodeled, but still holds an old cottage charm. Nestled only a few miles from the Village of Curtis, this property has 133 feet of lake frontage and scenic western views. The shoreline is sandy and perfect for swimming. The lake is also known for fishing and other recreational activities. Time to pack up and recharge your batteries at The Loon's Landing.
What an amazing cabin! Host was wonderful and even dropped off some Yooper chocolate for us! My husband and I took our daughter, son in law and 3 yo granddaughter to visit friends in the area and this house had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted! There was a basket of toys, children books and even kids cups for us to use. We felt like weâre at home. We will definitely make this our permanent vrbo home when we come back to the UP next spring.
Wow! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is a perfect little cabin on the shore of (big) Lake Manistique with sunset views. It has fantastic views of the lake and is far back from the main road (which has very little traffic anyway). The neighbor (one side only) is close enough to be seen but not heard. The hosts have provided everything you could possibly need! (Except for food of course). This is the first VRBO I've had where there was sufficient TP and other paper products. The furniture, appliances, all the accommodations are top-notch! The hosts are very responsive and really want you to have a comfortable stay. Additionally, this site is centrally located for activities on the east side of the UP; less than an hour drive to Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Ste Marie, and many other hiking trails. I highly recommend this property!
What a beautiful place- inside and out! We didn't leave the place much, we had everything we needed right there. Also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights one night! Absolutely loved our time here. Easy check in, full kitchen and grill to cook, beautiful lakeshore and fire pit area. The sun sets right across the lake from this place, and there was a mother deer and her fawns that would pass through. Lots of different birds and ducks and wildlife around. Can't recommend this place enough
