Located on the beach on 21st street, the home is ideally situated on a quieter portion of the beach on Sea Island, close to the Beach Club and Cloister, and only 15 blocks from Ocean Forest, if you are attending an event or golfing there. This charming cottage opens into the foyer, which leads to the Great Room. The Great Room is the heart of the home, given the stunning ocean views. This spacious room has lots of seating, a large TV, fireplace, stone floors, and sliding doors that lead to the back patio and pool. This room is both cozy and warm, and filled with natural light and beautiful views from every angle of the room. Just off of the great room is a lovely half bathroom, perfect for guests to use and close to all of the downstairs living space.

The charming primary bedroom features beautiful views of both the ocean and the pool. This spacious room has a king bed, TV, a seating area and built-in closets and a coastal inspired design. The en-suite bathroom has an oversized vanity, shower and separate jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom is also spacious and features a king bed, TV, and feels very cozy with the built-in bookshelves and fireplace. The bathroom has a very expansive walk-in closet, sink and separate vanity area, and a shower. This walk-in closet can be used for those staying in the primary bedroom if desired, as this bathroom is adjacent to the primary bathroom.

The third bedroom in between the first and second bedrooms, and is a cozy, interior room. This room has a daybed, with a twin trundle underneath. With extra seating and a TV, this can either be used a bedroom, a spot to nap after a long day in the sun, or a separate play and TV area for children.

The fourth bedroom is located nearest the foyer and has two twin beds and gorgeous ocean views. This fun bedroom has a spacious closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Located just off the foyer is the Bar, conveniently between the Great Room and the Kitchen. This classic bar, a nod to the old Sea Island, is perfect for making a cocktail to enjoy with the gorgeous sunsets. Walking past the Bar, to the right is the breakfast room, which has a glass table and 4 chairs. This room can easily be used for breakfast, as a second dining room if you need more seating, or as a kids’ dining room. To the left is the more formal dining room that features a gorgeous wooden dining table, set for 6 people. The dining room has doors that lead to the patio, making it easy to go in and out if you are grilling. This precious courtyard also has an outdoor dining table. The opposite side of the dining room leads into the Great Room.

Just off the two dining rooms is the kitchen. This kitchen is filled with natural light and is fully stocked, making it easy for you to cook at home during your stay. There is an oversized fridge and freezer, double ovens, and even a bar area with barstools to the right, as you enter the kitchen.
Just off the kitchen is the laundry room, which has an oversized, HE washer and dryer. This laundry room has a door that is the side entrance of the home, and is next to the parking by the house and the driveway. Guests do not have access to the garage, but there is plenty of parking space in the main driveway, and two additional parking spots in front of the walkway leading to the front door of the home. Outside the laundry room is another spacious yard, perfect for kids to run around and play games.

Upstairs is another Great Room with fabulous ocean views. This space is very functional and can be used as second den, office or a game room. This space features a TV, plenty of seating space, table and chairs that are perfect for working, and even a half bathroom just off the main room. This room leads to the balcony, which features gorgeous views of the ocean, as well as the property. If you’re looking for an even better sunset than the back patio, this balcony provides an elevated view that is serene and very relaxing with the ocean breeze.

There is a separate carriage house that is to the right when you are facing the front door of the home. This well-decorated room is above the garage and features a King bed, sofa (with a pull-out king bed), TV, and en-suite bathroom with a shower. This is a great bedroom for anyone in your group that prefers to have some separation or needs a quieter space.

The true highlight of the home is the outdoor living space. There is plenty of patio seating, an outdoor dining table and chairs, and lounge chairs. Guests can enjoy the pool and hot tub, which are perfectly positioned for you to have a wonderful ocean view. Beyond the back patio is a very expansive backyard, making such a sweet spot for kids to run around. The property goes all the way up to the dunes, and there is a beach access on the back left of the property, providing for the easiest walk to the beach you can find on Sea Island. Everyone loves spending their days by the ocean, but the house is also ideally located for a beach walk up towards Ocean Forest, or down towards the Beach Club.

Since the house has been photographed, the exterior has been painted (white), new coastal blue shutters have been added, the patio furniture has been replaced, and other updates and enhancements have been made to the home.

This home is a wonderful rental for families, friends staying together, golf trips, guests of corporate groups that would prefer the benefits of having an entire home or want several rooms together, and wedding groups—including for the family of the bride or groom. The homeowner has a Sea Island Membership, thus Temporary Membership Cards can be arranged and purchased for renters, which grants them access to all Sea Island Amenities and gives them the ability to book activities, dining, spa, golf, use the gym, etc at Sea Island. If the guest chooses to purchase temporary membership cards, the guest is charged the fees, as shown below. The cards have to be set up prior to your stay, at least two business days in advance.

Adults (26+): $175 per adult, per day
Children Under 26: $60 per child per day. Children are considered under 26 years old, not married, immediate children. (2 free children’s cards are provided per family, with the purchase of at least 1 adult card, per family that day.)
Children Under 7: are free (if an adult has purchased a card) and cannot have their own card. Children can receive their own card once they turn 7.
Guests can pick and choose who in the group gets cards, but the cards have to be on consecutive days (ie if you want Tuesday and Thursday, you have to get cards for Tuesday through Thursday). Please reach out if you have questions or want more information on how temp member cards work.

The pool can be heated for an additional fee, and should be requested prior to your stay.
