Joshua Tree Green House avec bain à remous extérieur

Le Joshua Tree Green House est une belle retraite de vacances située à Sun Mesa Heights, près de Joshua Tree Park.
Profitez d'une vue imprenable à 180 degrés sur le parc, le mont. San Jacinto et Mt. Gorgonio ainsi que le ciel nocturne spectaculaire tout en trempant dans notre bain à remous extérieur.

La retraite est une maison de 2 chambres, 1 ½ salle de bain pour 2 à 6 personnes. La chambre principale a un lit king size, une grande surface de travail à hauteur de comptoir pour les créatifs et un siège lounge à côté de la grande fenêtre donnant sur la vallée. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen et bénéficie d'une vue calme sur notre rocaille et notre espace extérieur privé. Le salon dispose d'un confortable canapé-lit queen-size. Les familles sont les bienvenues. Nous fournissons un pack'n play et un siège haut pour les plus petits invités.
Les animaux de compagnie sont les bienvenus dans notre maison pour des frais de 25 dollars.

Partez en randonnée de la maison jusqu'à Bartlet Mountain ou détendez-vous, lisez un livre de notre bibliothèque ou jouez à des jeux avec des amis ou des enfants.
La retraite est équipée de spas intérieurs et extérieurs. Faites tremper vos amis et / ou votre famille en profitant de la vue ou détendez-vous simplement à la lumière des bougies à l'intérieur.

Il est livré avec un barbecue et un foyer et une terrasse extérieure spacieuse à deux niveaux pour dîner sous les étoiles, bronzer ou observer les étoiles.
Une connexion Wi-Fi et une télévision avec lecteur DVD sont fournies.
Ce n'est qu'à une courte distance en voiture du parc, de la ville de Joshua Tree et de la vallée de Yucca ainsi que de la ville des pionniers et de l'Integratron. Le Joshua Tree Retreat Centre est juste en bas de la route.

Spectacular!

The views are spectacular. The home is delightful. Everything that you need with none of the excess. One can tell the mark of thoughtful architectural and organic design immediately upon entering the house. I only wish that we had more time there. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, thoughtful management, and all the small extras: games, movies, great book selection, etc. to make for a delightful stay. We will be back.

Breezy & Quiet Desert Home

I stayed here with my fiance and another couple and we had a lot of fun at this house and felt at home immediately... well, after the resident security guard (read: rattlesnake) slithered away... There were a couple of odd details, but overall, it was a great experience! Pros: - Nice clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen - Ample clean towels - extremely quiet with a great cross-ventilation breeze that starts up in late afternoon - Neat view of the valley, a great outpost for taking in plants and wildlife - Shaded patio with a nice family sized table - Tons of art books to read! Cons: - Ironing board but no iron - only a con because we were headed to a wedding - Hot tub was cute but a little gnarly smelling and surrounded by bees for some reason

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your opinion is important to us in order to maintain the house as well as we can. I am very happy to read that you had a good time but I also would like to address your negative impressions: I am sorry that you were not able to find the iron. In the future we will check more carefully that equipment is at the right place. We are always available over the phone for questions or help. Using natural materials comes at a price. Our wooden hot tub is still fairly new and therefor the wood gives off tannins into the water. It is not harmful but it can cause a brownish tint and/or a woody/ gnarly scent. We change the water frequently and use an ionization system to clean the water without using harmful chemicals. I understand that the scent may not be pleasant to everybody. It will fade as the wood ages. Controlling nature is a tough task. It is still the season for a lot of wildlife activity (snakes, quails and insects). Late summer through winter are best for a more undisturbed trip to the desert. Bees need water. We talked to a beekeeper and based on his recommendations we took some measures to distract the bees from the tub for the rest of the season. Thank you again for staying at our house. Best, Daniela

Desert paradise

The property is located in great private and peaceful area with awesome views of the surrounding mountains. The owners make the check in progress easy and are very responsive to any questions or needs. The house has everything you could ask for. Definitely recommended!

5 star Joshua Tree Rental!

What an absolutely incredible trip with the perfect vacation rental. I imagine most of those going to the desert are looking for solitude and vistas of the almost lunar landscape, yes? Well, we were, and this lovely green house absolutely delivered. The hosts were amazing and the house well appointed. We feel so lucky to find this gem and will absolutely return one day.

A perfect peaceful escape

This was our second time staying here (only because it’s always booked! It was our 4th time in JTree). You can’t beat the view and solitude of this gem. It’s calm, comfortable and well appointed. Morning and evenings in the hot tub are perfection. With a great hike out the front door and a short drive to the park, this is the perfect spot to rest, relax and reconnect.

The perfect retreat with all amenities within a 10min drive

What can I say about this place.... well nothing negative anyway. This place has perfect isolation, Beautiful views . It's only a 10min drive from walmart and starbucks. Still have connection to the world if needed with great t mobile coverage and Wi-Fi . This place is great for people that love photography or just peace. Daniela was the perfect host and was emailing to make sure everything was ok. There was not one negative aspect to this place. Highly recommended..

Modern, clean, beautiful views and great hot tub!

This is a really lovely house, clean and modern with beautiful views. It feels really private as it is at the end of the road and leads straight onto a hiking trail. The grounds and house are beautifully kept, probably one of the nicest VRBO places that I have stayed in. Communication with Daniela was good and she answered questions and sent out lots of information about what to do in the area, where to eat and what to see which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Joshua Tree.

Loved our stay

My 2 sisters and I stayed for 3 nights in January while we hiked Joshua Tree. Loved the setting and the windows facing south with the great views. Also loved the hot tub which did not smell of chlorine like they usually do.

Beautiful get away location

It was the weekend after my birthday and a couple of friends and myself decided to find the perfect get away home close to Joshua Tree park to spend time unwinding and enjoying nature. This was the perfect location to do just that. The house was great! Beds were comfortable, hot tub AND bath tub were amazing, as were the views. I will definitely be back to enjoy this peaceful place.

Best ever

My wife and I are desert rats and we come down to the desert every spring from our NW home to dry out in body, mind and spirit. We love Joshua Tree and after spring breaks spent in Utah, Arizona, Hawaii and No. California settled on the Morongo Valley four years ago. Finding the Green Haus was simply our best find ever. We've traveled all over the world, stayed in too many different places to count and never have we been more thrilled and enthralled by a place like JT Green Haus. We settled in and never left except to hike for a few hours each day. No Pioneertown, no Integratron, no Saloon, no dinners out (only pizza to go). We stayed, we settled, we dug in and we listened and watched and tuned in as deeply as we could to the heart of the beautiful desert that surrounded us in Daniela and Richard's home. Comfy & secluded home near Joshua Tree

We had an amazing stay at the house! Hot tub is incredible - such a good spot to sit while the sun goes down. Kitchen is extremely well-equipped and the bedroom was so comfortable. Loved the design of the house as well - beautiful views all around. Quite easy to get to the Joshua Tree National Park, but still secluded and quiet. Had a wonderful roadrunner actually follow us around outside! Definitely want to stay here again.

Bliss!

We loved our stay at the Green Haus! It's a beautifully appointed house with majestic views (including coyotes!) and has every you could need. The hot tub was the perfect place to soak away jet lag or sore bodies after a day of hiking. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Definitely a place to get away to! The house is very private. It was larger in person than the photos portrayed. Windows everywhere, with amazing views, even from the bathroom. It was extremely quiet and relaxing. We had a small hiccup getting into the place, but the owners were very accommodating. It's stocked with most everything you could think of. There were six of us including a dog and we had plenty of space. We spent most of our time just relaxing at the property, taking advantage of Netflix and the BBQ for meals. Calico was only a little over an hour away so we took advantage of that. The town nearby was also cute, and we took up the recommendation of trying Pie For The People, which was great. We would certainly stay again whenever we're out that way!

Amazing

This house is such a dream. The beds are really comfortable, and the house is private and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for making meals. And the hot tub - wow! Sitting out there under the stars at night was spectacular, and so were the morning soaks, watching jackrabbits run around the hillside. The owners were great, and checked in via email to make sure everything was all right. We loved the location, and will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience

One of the best trips my wife and I have ever taken. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it was the perfect place for us - we used it as a home base for exploring Joshua Tree NP, and it was perfectly located for that. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable, and had amazing views from the back porch and hot tub. The owners provided a long list of suggested places to eat and things to do, which was very helpful. They personally checked in by email to make sure we were happy, even though they were out of the country at the time, which was very thoughtful. Great place, great people.

Far, far beyond expectations

This place was so great-- and I'm so picky! The pictures are good but they don't prepare you for how roomy and substantial the house is, how expansive it feels from inside to outside... How well designed it is, the attention to detail! And it's really comfortable. Has great beds, both bedrooms are big, the master has a king bed and is especially big, the bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub, so pretty. There's lots of comfy outdoor furniture, pretty lighting inside and out... Their landscaping is subtle, perfectly integrated to what exists naturally. There are windows everywhere so there's always an amazing view from anywhere in the house, loads of light. The elevated mesa the house sits on makes such a difference... hawks flew over the porch so close. And it truly is private -- not part of a neighborhood subdivision or off a main drag like many. It's on a more remote private drive, but still only 5 minutes away from a massive Walmart/Grocery for quick runs (10 minutes from Joshua Tree Village and 15 minutes from Pioneer Town for food and entertainment). It's EXACTLY what you want from a JT rental -- it feels like a million miles away but you're not. So quiet, peaceful romantic ... But they have kids so they had everything you'd want if you're a family. Best part was the hot tub, night or day you couldn't get me out of it. You can hike right from the house but we drove to the park and did the easy, scenic Barker Dam hike Daniela and Richard recommended -- guess what? We saw a herd of Mountain Goats so close, it was awesome!

Joshua tree escape

My husband and our two visiting friends from New Zealand spent 2 nights in this wonderful retreat. The photos do not do the place justice, the views from the deck are stunning. Sitting in the spa at night overlooking the valley towards Joshua tree National Park..amazing..This place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend and we would return.

We are both architects with a passion for the desert. Richard was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa. I grew up in Germany. Both of us ended up working in Los Angeles and when we met we started exploring the surroundings of LA. That's how we found this place.
We opened our home to the public when Richard accepted a temporary assignment in Costa Rica. Our US base is still in Los Angeles. We visit the Green Haus as often as we can but in general we won't be able to greet you in person when you arrive.
Our house manager Karen lives near the property and is always available if our guests need anything.

We have a passion for the desert...the heat, the cold, the physical environment and the solitude. It has an allure that is enduring and brings you back again and again. We have tried to create a place that will let you truly enjoy this magical environment in a comfortable setting.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with the 180 Degree view, the quiet and the way the house is nestled in the hill. Sitting outside on the terrace or the hot tub at Sunset and at night watching the stars are the greatest moments.
