Au-dessus du village de Joshua Tree, à seulement quelques pas du parc national de Joshua Tree. Vous serez fasciné par le jeu en constante évolution du soleil et de la lune sur le paysage désertique.

Les équipements comprennent: Grande chambre spacieuse avec cheminée; Wifi; TV à écran plat avec Roku, Pandora et Netflix pour la musique et les films sur Internet; Lecteur DVD et collection de DVD classiques. Ouvrez le mur de la fenêtre de douze pieds et découvrez les images et les sons du désert depuis l'intérieur du salon. La cuisine pleine grandeur a de beaux comptoirs en granit, de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, un garde-manger walk-in, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer vos repas gastronomiques, une buanderie et un barbecue à gaz.

La chambre principale, dans un décor mexicain d'époque, dispose d'un lit queen-size de luxe, d'un ventilateur de plafond et d'une porte coulissante en verre sur le vaste patio couvert. La salle de bain principale a une belle vanité carrelée Talavera, une douche à l'italienne et une baignoire à jets pour apaiser ces muscles fatigués après une journée de randonnée. Choisissez la chambre Cowgirl avec son décor antique, deux lits jumeaux, ventilateur de plafond, ou profitez de l'ancien décor occidental de la chambre Cowboy, lit queen, ventilateur de plafond et porte coulissante en verre sur le patio. La salle de bain d'hôtes a une douche et une baignoire. Toutes les serviettes et les draps sont fournis.

Lovely place

We loved our weekend stay. The attention to detail and how caring the owners are highly recommended. The views and isolation is what I was looking for. A small warning but doesn’t take anything away is that the dirt road leading to the property is accessible (we used our mini van) but it can be a bit challenging to those that never drove in a dirt road. 10/10. Really enjoyed our stay

Great stay close to Joshua Tree National Park

Honestly, the location couldn't have been any better for our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. It was a quick 10 minute drive to the entrance station. The house sits up on a hill with a huge patio off the back with an amazing view and nice breeze. The kitchen was well appointed. Our only disappoint was we didn't get to see the tortoise.

LUNA VISTA, my introduction to desert life

I've only considered myself to be an oceanfront vacationer. That all changed when my daughter talked me into a trip to Joshua Tree. The only bad point is that I didn't book a longer stay.The house is amazing. You won't need to buy anything but food. I over-shopped, because everywhere I've stayed before required more staples. This wasn't the case at Luna Vista. Cindy supplied everything -the coffee, filters, creamer, paper towels, tp, shampoo, soap, etc... We didn't need to turn on the AC or heat. The temp in the house stayed comfortable the entire time.The setting enchanted me. I was raised in the country hearing only birds and animals; and to me, that's a little piece of heaven on earth. I live in the country now, but hear traffic all day. Luna Vista was like hitting rewind and getting away from the noise pollution. Granted, the neighbors ARE a bit vocal...and by this, I mean the sparrows, doves, quails (which were #1 on my bird 'must see' list, as I hadn't seen a quail since I was a youngster), and coyotes. They supplied the background music to a most refreshing desert visit.Day 1 provided my long hoped for quail sightings (as did every day of our stay.) A beautiful coyote family did a walk-through on their way down into the wash that runs along the property. I didn't see any roadrunners, but I saw enough rabbits for the coyotes to chase to offset that. The desert flowers and cacti were breathtaking. The mountains and valleys would inspire poets. We hope to return.

Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Beautiful views from the patio and fire pit area. Inside of the home was great. I’ve runout of superlatives to describe it. We will definitely be back. My only regret in giving this kind of review is the fact that they may be booked constantly. This host does it right. Best VRBO we have ever had.

Enjoyable stay at Luna Vista

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the house and the setting. The weather was great the first week and we took advantage of the many outdoor areas and outdoor shower. The second week it got chillier and windy so we spent less time hanging outside. It’s only 3.5 miles from the park entrance so we hiked a lot. Would stay again if in the area.

Worthy of 10/10

Stayed for 3 nights with my family of 5 (3 kids 10 and under). Great house that led to a memorable family vacation. The surrounding property is fantastic - the kids spent hours exploring and we enjoyed the views. Inside, the attention to detail is top notch - well stocked everything, top class furniture, appliances, kitchenware, etc.The seclusion is available at the end of a dirt road that felt a little shaky under our Honda Pilot. It does give you pause to run out for a quick coffee or to the store. But it's worth it. Stock up for the weekend and enjoy this fantastic house. My family already wants to book another trip.

Paradise on Earth

As if Joshua Tree wasn’t spectacular enough, this home makes it even more memorable. This is my third stay here and I plan on many more. It’s ideal for smaller gatherings. The kitchen is well stocked, so cooking in is ideal. The only challenge is my regular car won’t make it up the dirt road to the house.

What a very special place!

My sisters and I spent a week at Luna Vista and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was top notch. The house was beautifully furnished, the kitchen well supplied. There were multiple comfortable seating areas outside to take in the breathtaking views.I will mention that the beds are quite firm. This is not a criticism, as people like different types of mattresses, just one of those things people like to know about a rental. I thoroughly recommend Luna Vista.

Love this setting, quiet, few neighbors, lots of stars. Great location next to JT. Owner's house is well appointed, they supply flashlights, binoculars, etc... the home is very comfortable. Host responds immediately. We will be back.

You Want To Stay Here -Trust Me

There were 5 adults in our party in town for a wedding and we was enough space, indoors and out, so that we didn't feel cramped or on top of one another. Everything about this home was just perfect -my husband and I absolutely loved everything about it. We have it on the list of places to come back to and if I could give them 20 stars I would. Everything in the photos was spot on but being there in person was even better; it's such a very cool place. The host is great, the location is great, the privacy of the area is great, the views are great. Just a wonderful experience -THANK YOU CINDY!

Perfect Desert Retreat

This was our second stay at Luna Vista and the property was just as spectacular as we recalled from our initial stay several years ago. The owners have put a great deal of thought into this beautiful home, with lots of decorative and practical touches ensure an enjoyable stay (comfortable beds and linens, well equipped kitchen and grill area, multiple indoor/outdoor sitting areas for socializing, equipment for star gazing and spotting wildlife, etc., etc.). Will definitely be returning in the future.

Our family resides in North San Diego County when we aren't visiting our happy place in Joshua Tree! And we truly love sharing it with others...

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are Southern California natives who have been coming to and loving the Mojave Desert for five generations now. For many decades we enjoyed the use of a primitive cabin in the Eastern Sierra near Mt. Whitney that my father helped build with his cousin in the 1950s, and where I spent many hours fantasizing a pioneer life. Unfortunately, our beloved cabin burned down in a ferocious wildfire in 2007. It was a heartbreaking loss for our family. But in 2008, on a last-minute weekend trip to Joshua Tree, we fell in love with this southern part of the same Mojave Desert. We returned to peek around at property here and were so very fortunate to find this special spot in the Joshua Tree Highlands right next to the National Park! We are in love with the abundance of flora and fauna, the unusual and awesome geology, the glorious sunrises and sunsets, the forever views of the ever-changing desert landscape, the dazzling night sky and, of course, the beautiful moonrises…

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The expansive views set this property apart from the rest! 360 degrees of awesomeness just steps away from Joshua Tree National Park. Because Luna Vista is located at a higher elevation (3400 ft), we receive a bit more moisture than other areas of the hi-desert. This, in addition to being located on the edge of the undeveloped and protected National Park, has resulted in an exceptional native garden with daily wildlife visitations. It's truly a special place!
