Weâve stayed at several BnBâs, VRBOâs, etc in the past. Never have we arrived to a property that takes a code to get in and the host hasnât communicated what the code is in advance. And no, you never emailed me, I looked through all my emails. Normally when a code is not communicated, you arrive to find a key. Not only was it not communicated in advance, it was 9:50 pm when we arrived, only to find the host not willing to answer my messages, nor the calls from the VRBO hotline assistant for almost 2 hours. We should have taken that as a clue and went down to the hotel I called to see if they had availability. They did have a pet room and it was only 88 a night, compared to this property being almost 200 a night. Also, you get to wake up at 6 am to the heat being shut down to 60. You can adjust the heat and it will stay that way for 2 hours and then automatically shuts back down. So much for being some cozy place in the UP. Do you realize you can take the glass out of the plastic frames in the fridge and actually scrub them? When you open the doors to the fridge you literally gag because it smells like it looks. A severe deep cleaning is needed at this property. Maybe also explain in your listing for future guests how it is supposed to sleep 5 people, because Iâm not seeing this possibility. The cheap plastic furniture is not even comfortable to sit on, let alone sleep on it?! If you are looking for some cozy place in the UP, keep looking, I wish I had of myself!
