Great location for our annual UP snowmobile trip. We drive up from Kalamazoo and meet up with family/friends from Green Bay. Some rent snowmobiles a couple blocks away from the property while the rest of us bring our trailers. Lots of room to park and right next to the trail. We look forward to the trip every year.
Everything about this property was just as we expected. Easy check in, very clean, comfortable beds. We had to contact the owner just once to see how we should leave something and received a quick reply. We would definitely stay here again.
Rode sleds for two days. Property is in town but right on trail through town. A decent bar/restaurant two blocks away. Couldnât have been more convenient.
I couldnât ask for a better place to stay in Newberry. It was literally just a couple blocks from the grocery store and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house was very clean. So clean that my Mom (who is pretty OCD about cleanliness) didnât feel like she had to go over everything again. We would definitely book this place again.
Loved this property. It was very clean, had everything we needed and literally 2 minutes from the grocery store which was very convinient. It was in town without feeling like it was in town so that was great. Very quiet and peaceful street as well. Brad responded quickly and politly to all of my questions leading up to check in.
Easy check in, perfect location to ride the trails, plenty of parking for our 2 trucks with trailers, unit was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The only negative was the lack of seating. Definitely need to add another couch in there. Would stay here again.
House was perfect, had everything we needed. We asked 1 question before we arrived and was answered quickly, check in and out was easy, everything worked as described, house was very comfortable, (couch and beds). Trails were amazing right at the end of the street, easy access to fuel, resturants, and groceries. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks for providing such a great place.
This rental was everything we needed to fit our family. The bunkbed and queen in each bedroom was really nice so there was plenty of room for all of us. Everything was very clean. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was very quiet other than the occasional train going by. We did a lot of excursions on this vacation and it was centrally located with lots of things to do all within an hour. Newberry is a cute little town and we loved the local ice cream place.
The property was as described, included 2 portable room AC units which kept it cool, beds were comfortable and home included extra blankets for warmth if needed. Lots of places to walk around and explore. The only negative thing was the water pressure in the shower was a bit low but we were fine and itâs close to the railroad. We stayed for 4 days and only saw one train. The place was super clean, and close to the Tahquamenon and Two Hearted Rivers, Oswaldâs Bear Ranch is just down the road. We had a great time and this was an awesome home base!
Small but efficient. Having 9 beds was great. Large yard (not seen in pictures) with a firepit. Super quiet street at end of town by railroad tracks was fun and safe for kids. We saw 2 cars a day and no trains. 3 minute walk to tiny downtown which has cool little theater. We saw Indiana Jones! Fun week-!
We took our Grand Kids to see some of my wife's heritage and snow. It didn't snow late December. The dogsledding adventure turned into dogs pulling an atv. It was still fun. We substituted tubing to see the nearby parks with waterfalls and a pully barge over a springs. Ice skating in the Sault Ste.Marie was a Great time. The Movie Theater was very Nostalgic. The Village of Newberry is a very Nice place.
House was very clean. Right next to the trail, grocery store and bar/restaurant within walking distance.Would be a perfect place for 6 people. Ample parking for trailer.
