This condo was perfect for our week long stay! We were just a short walk to the beach and the views from our patio were breathtaking! Having a fully stocked kitchen and full size fridge was great for cooking meals at home. Grocery store and restaurants less than a mile away and easy enough to walk. There was plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, and snorkeling gear for our use. The property had an onsite laundry room, so no need to over pack, if staying for an extended time. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay! Despite the weather, high winds, power outage, we were very comfortable in our home away from home here in Kerry and Lynne’s condo. It was very clean and comfortable for us and our two young kids. They made sure we had everything we needed. We saw whales, turtles and even rays from the lanai. There was plenty of green grassy area in front of the unit for our boys to play and it felt very private. The neighbors were all extremely nice and kind too! I would highly recommend the Kuleana and this unit. Thank you!!

The best view and location

Right on the beach! You can walk to the beach or drive 5 min down to the popular resort area. Place was clean and the view is INCREDIBLE. Watched the sunset every night on the private porch

Great stay!

Clean condo with fully equipped kitchen. Location, location, location!! Quiet, best view on Maui. There are turtles and whales every day that you can see while sitting on the lanai.

Great location and community

Had a blast staying here for a week. We got to snorkel with turtles every day and met many interesting and friendly condo owners and renters. The unit provides a low key experience with beaches that are never over crowded but quick access to all the amenities the resorts offer near-by. Unit was clean, well taken care of, and had beach equipment to use. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat!

Nothing shortnof Amazing

This property is beautiful, it has everything you need and checked all the boxes for us. We expereicned whales, turtles, great snorkeling, surfing and breath taking sunsets - all just outside their patio doors. You are close to all the amenities you need. We stayed April 7-14.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

What a wonderful time we had during our stay at Kuleana. No better place to celebrate 50 years together. The ground floor condo enabled us to walk directly out to the beach and see the turtles and we so enjoyed being able to watch the whales from our lanai while having coffee first thing in the morning. The peace and quiet with just the sound of the waves breaking on shore was tops. Kerry and Lynne provided us with much information which offered many ways to enjoy the Island. We have already recommended this condo to others as a perfect place to stay.

Ocean front Condo Spectacular snorkeling spot in West Maui

Location, location, location! We booked a condo because we were taking a longer (more than 2 weeks) vacation, it's close to amenities, and because we knew from experience that this is a superb snorkeling spot. Condo is ocean front, with sunset views and lighted torches every night. This is an attractive condo, the property is well maintained, and the beach areas are both excellent snorkeling spots. The AC unit and fans were a plus and the bed worked for us. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and the grills outside worked great. Everything was as expected and our stay was marvelous!

Good overall

The location of this condo is amazing. The condo was somewhat unclean upon our arrival with crumbs on the counter and the coffee pot was dirty. No extra toilet paper present in the bathroom however we did find extra packages under the bed the day before we left and had already purchased some. The bed was very comfortable and the owners were very responsive to some of the issues we ran into. Overall, good experience.

Great Place to Stay !!!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful unit. What a treat!! The unit was very clean and very well appointed with all the amenities of home. It really had a homey feel to it. Very comfy bed ( and big too ). Boogie boards and snorkeling equipment for those adventurous types. The proximity to the beach and water was fantastic and the whole grounds was very well maintained. We spent many late afternoons relaxing on the lanai and watching whales play right off our beach. Binoculars was a great plus.........got you right up close to the action. It is very central to other beaches in the area and convenient to shopping as well. Great Farmers Market just down the road. We would definitly stay here again.

Incredible value, incredible location

My boyfriend and I spent 9 days in this unit and it was a fantastic experience. The lanai is 50 feet from the ocean and we spent many hours reading/relaxing while listening to the sound of the ocean. We were even treated to a sea turtle on the sand during our first evening on the island! The condo is well stocked with all the needed comforts of home. We were able to save money by cooking many of our meals at the condo. The bed is very comfortable, much better than hotels where we have stayed. This condo is ideally located between Lahaina and Kapalua - close enough to make a quick run to the grocery store or Starbucks if needed, but far enough away from the crowds to feel like a peaceful vacation. We both agree that this was the best vacation we have ever been on and we will definitely reach out to Kerry and Lynne again when we return to Maui.

Impeccable, Beautiful Property & Incredible Snorkeling

I have stayed at one place on Oahu where I could snorkel steps outside my lanai and it was incredible, well worth the extra money I paid. This place is also well worth the money I paid. I saw a huge variety of fish, an eel and five sea turtles that I swam with regularly just below the backyard grassy area. I also saw whales breaching out of the water, splashing with their tales and side fins, all from my lanai. And, to top it off, hearing waves crash all night long while sleeping was incredible. I have already made reservations for my wife & my son to stay in December. As a bonus, the owner, Kerry, will give you a map with all kinds of great info for snorkeling, hiking and many other sites. Just a couple miles away are more amazing snorkeling spots (DT Fleming & Kapalua Bay). Thank you for the amazing experience of your place Kerry.

Amazing

Pros: This place is a dream beach view house ..it combines the beach view with the garden view with ocean view and also you can see the mountain of the other island in the view.. this place had it all and it’s very quit .. inspiring and entertaining . The neighbors are very nice and they’re not nosy . You can stay in front of your place without finding someone bothering you or sitting in front of you or hiding the view. That was contrary to my expectations! Cons : Although it was clean but it had a lot of ants .. very small and fast and bites a lot ants. So it was not very comfortable but since we don’t stay all the day in the place , it was adaptable situation. Over all Very recommended.

Lulled by the Ocean. Simply Beautiful.

We felt so lucky to hear the relaxing sound of the ocean every day and to see the beautiful blue ocean just by looking out the patio windows/doors. Loved being able to get up early with the kids (age 3 and 5) and walk right out (literally took seconds) to the beach to play and watch the little crabs scurry about on some rocks. Beach area was perfect for any water activity and was never crowded. Saw a few sea turtles. Pool was a nice size as well. Location was ideal, close to market , little restaurants, snorkel rentals. (Tip: if snorkelling with young children, go to snorkel Bob's to rent a Looky Board for the little ones). Napili beach, just minutes away, allowed us to see 100's of amazing fish and several sea turtles. The condo itself was comfortable and clean. Lots of drawers and hangers to allow us to settle in with belongings. Loved the beautiful Hawaiian paintings. Owners were great, always quick to respond, and provided great tips for local restaurants, activities, etc. Couldn't find the sheets for the pull out sofa; notified owners and they had someone bring some by literally within minutes. Would recommend particularly for the view, beach, and central location.

Clean, right on beach, turtle central!

We stayed here for six nights and had a very good time. Condo was clean and as described. Bed was very comfortable and bath was clean and updated. Kitchen was also clean and had what we needed. The property overall is well-maintained. Both kitchen and bath had supplies like condiments and first aid stuff which was appreciated. The closest beach is small but awesome. Tons of turtles and good snorkeling. Fairly active surf so you have to pick your times to go in -- high tide had very high surf. The renters next door were on the loud side, but not the owners fault. Just luck of the draw. The entry doors and lanais are very close to each other so if the neighbors are noisy, you will hear them. . Had stayed in the same building 2 years ago and had no issue. The front desk is also helpful if it's a problem. Bathroom had no body wash or shampoo dispenser so BYO. Also, kitchen sponge was left from previous renters and was very smelly. Used pool and laundry which were clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay!

An Unusual but Blessed Experience

We stayed here during the week when Lahaina was burned down to rubble. We were not able to change our return flights so we stayed for the whole trip. It was a devastating period of time for the locals who were heavily impacted. For us, it was both heart-wrenching and heart-warming. During our stays, we met more locals than tourists, with whom we had awesome conversations and supported each other. The property is in an excellent location. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset every day. It is literally a few steps away from the ocean and the kids swam every day. We also spotted green turtles. It is only a few minutes' drive to the other beaches including Kaanapali and Kapalua Bay. Local stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. The condo is nice and clean. It has AC in the bedroom, ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the living room, and one upright fan. However, when the power went out, we realized that we actually didn't need them. We left both the front and back doors open and the wind was cool and nice. Supplies in the property are sufficient. There are grills in the property complex so even with no power, we managed to eat well. We were very touched that Kerry refunded our payment as we didn't expect it at all. He has also set up a GoFundMe account and made donations to the Kuleana employees and their families who lost their homes. It was an unusual and unforgettable trip. We want to send our thankfulness to Kerry, our neighbors and the volunteers. Mahalo!

Great location and wonderful views! The beach wasn't there when we stayed and there was high surf but it wasn't a problem because we could just sit on our patio and enjoy the same view without the sand! We loved the vacation and will be back to this unit!

Wonderful experience

Location is fantastic. You are right by the ocean. We spent most mornings and afternoons on the lanai just experiencing the ocean. Kitchen was well equipped and clean. One thing that was listed wasn't available to us, but we texted Kerry and he replied right away with a solution! This was a wonderful vacation and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic vacation home!

Perfect size for our family of four! Felt like we had our very own private beach that was never crowded only 30 ft away! Sleeping and waking to the sound of waves every day was mesmerizing! All the amenities included made our stay that much more enjoyable! The location was a short drive to our daily activities! Not enough words of gratitude but that we plan to return!
