The location of this accommodation is 5*. The small beach on site was a wonderful spot to watch the sunset, and sitting there observing the turtles was truly special. It’s close enough to shops and amenities to be convenient, yet far enough away from the busier hotel beachfront areas to feel peaceful and secluded.The accommodation itself felt a little dated, though it was functional. The bathroom had useful storage, but the shower height was very low and not adjustable. Neither of us are particularly tall, yet we both had to squat to use it, which was inconvenient.The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the inclusion of extra food storage containers was particularly useful.Although we didn’t use them, having snorkelling equipment and beach chairs available would be very helpful for guests planning to spend time by the water.Overall, I would recommend this property primarily for its excellent location. Just be aware that you are paying a premium for the setting rather than for a high-end finish or modern accommodation

Very comfortable stay

The Kuleana is a lovely, oceanfront property, and this casually elegant unit is nicely decorated and overall a very comfortable place with a lot of extras that I usually bring myself but was pleasantly surprised to see and use (Tupperware, foil, and the like) in the kitchen, and regular size shampoo and conditioner. But of course, the view is the most important draw for me at an oceanfront property and this did not disappoint. Thanks to the owners for sharing their home.

Kuleana Condo

We had a great stay at Kuleana Resort. The condo was in good shape. The host responded to all our emails. One of the window shades was broken and did not go up. We would have liked to open that window. The sliding screen door to the lanai needs attention.

The view here is amazing!! Check in was easy and it’s close to lots of great restaurants as well as a short uber to Whalers Villiage!! Definitely recommend!!

Perfect introduction to Maui!

This was our first time in Maui. We were staying in a wonderful neighborhood right on the water that had lots of places to walk to. Saw whales & turtles every day. The property was absolutely beautiful - so well kept and the landscaping was breathtaking. Loved our stay here.

5 Fays in Paradise

Absolutely Stunning view from the 3rd floor Balcony!!! Sat there for hours whale watching!! Very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Paradise Turles were abundant down by the Beach !! Beautiful gardens and well maintained Would highly recommend

Not Accurate Listing

This was our 6th time staying at Kuleana and this by far was our leadt favorite condo. We usually stay in 400 or 600 bldg and should have stuck with that. The entrance to this condo is t even "inside" the property. U ha e to go through gate to get to pool or beach. My biggest issue is that we rented this unit for my elderyly mother (70) and no where on the listing doe it state you have to go up 6 , yes SIX flights of stairs. We've stayed at Kuleana many times and never even knew there could be 6 flights of stairs. This needs to be clearly disclosed in the listing for people with mobility issue. The condo was less than clean and the only one we've ever seen roaches in. Huge disappointment for the price we paird for this condo it was definitely the bottom of the barrel.

Kuleana

Ronny is the best VRBO host! This property is beautiful, with views of Molokai, and big sea turtles right on the beach at the property! The wildfires hit Lahaina shortly after our arrival, and Ronny kept us comfortable and safe at a property in Kihei. I would only use Ronny in the future!

Beautiful condo. Views were spectacular. The condo was super nice, ac in the bedroom and shades and fan for the living area. Loved the beach and the pool. We saw lots of turtles. We will be back for sure!

Amazing view

We had the most wonderful time just hanging out on the porch. Teenager was at the pool most of the time, if he wasn’t at the beach. Perfect view of the pool! Most amazing view of the ocean.

Wonderful condo with stunning ocean views

We were more than pleased with our stay at this condo. The unit's most appealing feature was the lanai with a stunning view of the ocean. We spent most of our time on the lanai, which offered a fabulous view of the ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. We were even fortunate to be able to see some whales in the distance and the sunsets were gorgeous. The condo was comfortably furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The condo was very clean, and well organized and we found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. The grounds of the condo were quite beautiful and well maintained with beautiful landscaping and copious butterflies and birds. The location of the condo couldn't be beat. It was steps away from the beach which was perfect for snorkeling. The beach was part of a turtle sanctuary and you can easily see numerous sea turtles cavorting in the waves. The condo is in a quiet and residential section of the beachfront, and it is a short drive to shopping and restaurants. The condo complex itself was well-maintained and secure, with friendly staff who were available to answer questions and provide assistance. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my entire stay. On our way home I was notified by the owner that the cleaning staff had found a pair of AirPods that we had left in the unit. The owner was most gracious about contacting me and arranging for the AirPods to be mailed to my home which we really appreciated. It was just one more example of the aloha spirit you will find staying here! Overall, I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on Maui. The location, amenities, and attention to detail exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Great place!!

We really loved our stay here. The views were amazing, the property was beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved our morning coffee on the patio and walking down to the beach to watch the turtles in the morning! Thank you to the property owner for sharing their place!!

The owners travel most of the year and understands the needs of those staying in VRBO accommodations. The manager/owner Ronny is retired from the fire department and now owns/manages multiple rental properties.

This property is close to everything yet feels like your away from the busy city. Surrounded by gardens and views of the ocean makes this the perfect getaway.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

As an owner who travels quite a bit I have supplied the condo with Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, spices, condiments, snorkel equipment, cooler, beach chairs, beach towels. Lutron remote control shades installed on all windows and sliders. I try and have everything here to make it easier and less to pack for my guest. I am available 24 hours and I keep my calendar updated daily. I respond within the hour and most times within 20 min. I realize there is many managed properties that do not give that service.
