Si vous venez pour vous détendre et vous détendre, ou si vous vous sentez un peu plus aventureux, cet endroit a tout pour plaire. Vashon regorge de belles plages, de boutiques éclectiques, de bons plats et de brasseries et de vins locaux, de sentiers pittoresques et bien plus encore. Lorsque vous venez à The Beach House, vous trouverez tout le confort de la maison. Intérieurs nouvellement mis à jour, une cuisine entièrement équipée et pleine taille w / d, tv / wifi. A wonderful property for a getaway. Looks even better in person than in the photos. Easy commute from the Tehlequa ferry terminal and super close to town. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this Beach Cottage! Coffee on the deck in the morning was the most relaxing experience. We saw plenty of sea lions and the sunsets were spectacular! Allison had everything we needed and the cottage was extremely clean. We loved the location and loved that it was walking distance to the Burton Coffee Stand and the Mercantile! This is our third time renting the Beach Cottage and we can’t wait to get back! I highly recommend Vashon !

Perfect little getaway

Beachy Cottage

Simple, clean, well appointed cottage right on the water. The location is a short walk to a general market and a 6 minute drive to the main village area of coffee shops, restaurants, hardware and grocery store. Had a terrific visit to Vashon.

Family visit to Vashon

Location, location, location. Everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy the tides of Burton beach and its varied wildlife. Plus amazing views of sky and water over Quartermaster Harbor with Mt Rainier and Tacoma in the distance.

The perfect getaway!

The Burton Waterfront beach house was just perfect - beautifully accommodated, with an expansive outdoor area to enjoy the water. We cooked out on the bbq, made smores on the fire pit, and watched seals and a sea otter frolic in the water right in front of us. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended.

House on the beach

This is a nice little house on the beach. Could hear the waves lapping out the window in the evenings. Everything was clean and comfortable. The he kitchen had everything we needed. Was able to walk out on the beach in the morning and collect sea shells. There was some road noise but nothing too bad.

Fantastic Clean Cozy Gettaway

We loved our stay at this clean and cozy cabin, especially being on the water. We had coffee on the deck overlooking an amazing sunrise every morning. The place was stocked well for any family cooking. We enjoyed being close to beaches & hikes and the easy drive into town. With little kids, the only minor drawback was being so close to a sometimes-busy road meant keeping a close eye on them. The owner was very accessible & informative. Would definitely go back again.

Fantastic Beach Cabin

Once again, our family enjoyed every minute at Allyson's Burton Beach House. Staying here has become an annual tradition that our kids count down the days to. They love collecting sand dollars and paddling around on the "tippy, but very fun" little kayak. We enjoy grilling and sharing meals together at the picnic table, and then gathering around the fire pit for evening s'mores. The countdown until next summer has already begun!

Our best vacation ever!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at Allyson's beach house. The location can't be beat - you'll have your own private shelly beach at low tide and be practically in the water at high tide. The set-up was perfect for our family of four: neat bunks for the kids and a luxurious queen bed for the grown-ups. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked and you can eat indoors looking out over the water or outside at the picnic table. We loved exploring the tidal creatures on the beach, collecting driftwood for evening s'mores fires, BBQing on the propane grill, and falling asleep listening to the water lap around us. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect getaway

My wife and I were traveling to Vashon for a wedding and we decided to make a trip out of it. This has been by far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed! We are very big water people so this was the perfect little spot! The house was equipped with kyacks and paddleboards so we can explore the waters but also the tide was low enough for us to explore by foot! Allyson was extremely clear with all check in/check out instructions and she even left little notes around the property which was very helpful! The property was so clean and so perfectly decorated! The views were AMAZING even on a cloudy rainy day! We are already planning our next trip back! This is the perfect place to unwind, disconnect and relax! Thank you for making our stay everything we wanted!

Quality Family Time

My nine year old daughter and I had such a fabulous time at the beach house. Normally, when we vacation we rent a house and we're out and about all day and just use the house for sleeping. However, when we got to this house we revised our plan and spent most of our time exploring the beach and relaxing. We loved finding sand dollars and shells every morning and then painting them once they dried. We had the pleasure of staying at the house for Fourth of July and what a spectacular night it was! We hardly knew where to look to see all the fireworks. We sat on the patio with a fire and some marshmallows and took it all in. I would especially like to thank the owner for being so helpful and friendly during our stay. I sincerely hope we can get back to the house again for another visit!

Cottage with a view!

Vashon Island is a great place to visit. Hiking, biking, boating and good local restaurants are all available. The view from the Burton Waterfront was amazing! If all you were going to do was stay on the deck, this is the perfect place to be. The house, while spacious for a couple (and maybe one small child), is not a place we would want to bring a larger number of people to stay. It is obviously a place that the owners come to stay and, while it might be ideal for an owner, it leaves something to be desired for someone paying $200.00 per night. Our first impression was that the cottage was eclectic. The one room is large with an older dining room table to the left as you come in; a rattan chair and a poppasan chair (remember those from the 70's) in the far left corner; and a queen size bed in the right corner along with two metal fold out beds attached to the wall. The bathroom is to the right of the foot of the bed and the kitchen is in the right hand corner. A sleep sofa sits in the middle of the room facing a 32" smart tv which is on a table against the wall between the two chairs and the bed. The kitchen is the most modern part of the unit and is very well stocked. Based on all the condiments in the kitchen, it appears that the owners leave their leftovers at the house between visits or don't remove condiments left by other guests. The main problem (besides sanitation) is that some of these things are very old (like ketchup with a year old use by date and Twinkies with a July 2017 expiration). Everything else in the kitchen was fine. The bathroom was clean and modern but very small. Two people cannot fit at the same time unless one is in the shower. There are all kinds of old shampoos and conditioners and body washes, I assume these are from past guests or the owners. They are not new. There is no place to hang towels. While the bed was comfortable, the sofa is not. It is in serious need of replacement. There is not a comfortable chair inside the house. The view outside is the highpoint of the property. DO NOT lean on the rail over the water as it needs to be repaired! The furniture on the deck is okay but could also use updating. The grill is very small and is in need of cleaning. You do hear the road noise starting at 6:30 in the morning. This is a very nice unit for the family who owns it. We would love to return if it were updated. It is not the standard we expect from this type and priced unit.

I am so sorry you did not feel the house was up to your standards. I do try my best to keep the house updated and fully stocked for guests. The shampoo and other shower supplies are not always brand new, but I do have a full box of hotel sized products in the bathroom if the large ones provided are not desired. I actually live a mile away and don't get to spend much time at the house other than to clean it and turn it over for our renters, and I do leave condiments and basic kitchen staples to be used during the stay, however, I will be more diligent on checking dates and making sure the products are sanitary. Our large BBQ recently broke and I did my best to supply a BBQ quickly, so I have since replaced it and I again am sorry it was not up to parr. I will take your input on my furniture and will work on finding more comfortable and modern pieces to meet a level of excellence that I would like to provide for our guests. I was trying to keep the authentic "beachy eclectic vibe" that suits the house and its island location but I will update the items and try to modernize the house. My aim is always to make our renters feel comfortable and like they are in a home away from home!

Great Stay

We have stayed at this cabin before and absolutely love it! There were some upgrades this time that were nice additions. Especially the ac unit! :) But it's the water access that is the draw for us. We will definitely be back!

Super cool waterfront hideout.

We loved this adorable beach house! Great vibe, super view right smack on the water, ease of loading/unloading was a huge plus, everything imaginable was available to us in the cupboards. Hardly any road noise at all and we slept like babies. A fabulous stay!!!
