Condo 1 chambre vue mer - Pono Kai

Notre condo a une cuisine entiÚrement équipée, 1 chambre à coucher et 1 salle de bain complÚte. La chambre a un lit queen size. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit gigogne dans le salon. Ce sont des unités trÚs spacieuses. Les unités sont entiÚrement équipées avec des draps, des serviettes et tous les utilitaires de cuisine et les appareils.

Le complexe est situĂ© dans la ville historique de Kapaa, Kauai. Vous pouvez prendre le lever du soleil le matin au-dessus de l'ocĂ©an Pacifique ou mĂȘme voir des baleines pendant la saison de migration. Le complexe se trouve Ă  quelques pas des restaurants, des boutiques, des magasins et des Ă©piceries.

La salle de bain contient du savon de départ, du shampoing, du revitalisant et un sÚche-cheveux. Un fer et une planche à repasser sont également disponibles.

Le Pono Kai Resort dispose de nombreux Ă©quipements sur place. Tennis, basket-ball, salle d’entraĂźnement, shuffle board, fers Ă  cheval, mini-golf, terrain de croquet, jeux de sociĂ©tĂ©, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. 2 weeks in paradise

This was our 10th stay at the Pono Kai and it wont be our last. Kapa'a is the perfect location for convenient access to all areas of Kauai. Walking distance to many cute shops and delicious food trucks.

Great place for Kauai vacation

Excellent property with ocean views. The location is pretty good for accessing both North and South shore locations. Kitchen is well equipped which allowed us to prepare some meals and save some money.

Love Kauai

Our family has stayed at Pono Kai Resort for over 25 years when we had a timeshare. Love that we can continue to stay there through VRBO and loved our beach front unit.

Comfortable and convenient

This property at the Pono Kai is a great location. Has a pool, 3rd floor ocean view, full kitchen, and air conditioning which make this a stellar vacation rental. Kapaa is a cute town with lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome time

Our family enjoyed the property. The condo was a perfect location on the property with beautiful view of the ocean and close to the pool and other activities! We enjoyed some board games on a rainy afternoon and our boys loves the pool! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful and fun place to stay!

Great place to stay

We had a perfect stay at Pono Kai. The condo was great, the bed was very comfortable, and all amenities were in great shape. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants and stores. We rented a car, and were able to drive to everywhere within 45 minutes or so due to the central location. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a nice time - property was so well organized , very well supplied, people very nice. Location of our unit was great F308, we’d stay there again. If only the weather was better. We had a Kona most of our stay.

Mother / Daughter Stay

The location was great. Close to old downtown, where the fun shopping is. Beautiful grounds and wonderful views of the ocean from the condos. The Condos were older but well kept, big and roomy. The Ocean is right at your feet and wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a little slice of paradice. Aloha

Exactly what we expected.

Perfectly located in the middle of the island. Very central. Short walk to anything in Kapaa aswell. Read the other reviews online and you will know exactly what to expect. Very happy and will return

The property has been semi-renovated - was good on sound, I think, although it is 3rd floor. Kitchen minimally furnished. Would be great to look around your unit and realize you are in the Islands. Decor could be any hotel room.

Lovely Poni Kai

The Poni Kai is a lovely stay. It is a very nice Condo. Spacious and accomodating. The grounds are beautiful. The location perfect. One problem. The fold out couch bed was horrible for an adult (my daughter) or anyone for that matter, to sleep on. The aprings were coming right through the mattress. If you are advertising sleeps 4, that's just not right. My daughter has a bad back to begin with and now she is home nursing it. FYI - get a new sofa bed for rental units they are horrible.. Other than that things were great. Thank you Tammy for all the good things you did. You were great.

Older property great location

This property was not updated and the condo smelled like old 90’s apartment. The sheets felt like cardboard and it had not been dusted for a bit when we settled in. The kitchen did not have all of the materials needed and tools. The online listing said laundry in facilities but it’s not in the condos it’s coin operated. The grounds are exceptional and had plumeria trees, pickle ball, giant chess, games and hot tub. Location splits the island in half for driving to Hanalei and Poipu. Close to the best shave ice on the island. It’s just very old for how much it cost.

Kauai summer trip

We love Pono Kai! Great atmosphere with all the amenities of home yet ocean front! This is our 3rd stay on tbe property. Check in was a breeze and they accommodated an early check in for us. Communication was great with Tammy.

Great location

This property was a great location - right in downtown Kapaa and right on the beach. The downfalls were - Our condo had the bedroom in the back with no vents, which is furthest away from ONE the air conditioning. We had to pull our mattress into the living room. Even with the fan on - the bedroom was consistently in the 90's. We requested a change of condo's, but they were full. Also, the walls are VERY VERY thin. We had a family upstairs with 3 small children and it unfortunately we learned to sleep when they slept. Sometimes, when relaxing in the evening watching a tv program, we were not even able to hear our tv because it sounded like a herd of elephants above us. Yes, I pounded on their door and yes, I went to the front desk. Would I stay here again... probably not.

Unfortunate Unit

The resort was great but the particular unit we stayed in had some serious issues. Upon entering the unit there was a very strong mold/mildew smell. There was also mold on the pullout couch bed and the carpet felt damp most of the time. We tried to change rooms but the resort was all booked up and other resorts were either too pricey or too far away from the rest of my family who were staying in other units in this resort, so we just had to deal with it for the 7 nights we stayed there. We also had a crawling baby there with us whose knees and feet would turn black after crawling around on the floor. Lastly, the faucet in the bath tub would shoot out green algae looking junk when we tried to push the stopper in to give our baby a bath. It was unfortunate because the host said she had upgraded us to an ocean view room. The view was amazing but all the issues with the actual unit made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay. Furthermore, the host made seemingly no attempt to help our situation. She mentioned she would have the resort staff contact us but that never happened and she never followed up with us after we had expressed our concern with the room.

Best Location

Pono Kai is in a great location - on the ocean with good access to other areas of Kauai and easy walking distance to Old Kapa'a shops and restaurants. It's an older resort, some units have been refreshed but others, including the one we stayed in, are definitely in need of some TLC. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained daily. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Kauai.

Can't beat the location

Great location for restaurants and shopping, amazing ocean view. Pull out bed not so comfortably but the ocean waves managed to lull us to to sleep 😮 definitely got an older building smell to it but otherwise worked great for us and our 15 month old

Elevator repair noisy

My condo was close to an elevator. I was assured by the condo owner that noise would not be an issue. Two days after I arrived they were still grinding and working on the elevator.
