Condo 1 Chambre avec Vue sur le Jardin - Pono Kai

Notre condo a une cuisine entièrement équipée, 1 chambre et 1 salle de bain complète. La chambre a un lit Queen. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit gigogne dans le salon. Ce sont des unités très spacieuses. Les unités sont entièrement approvisionnées en draps, serviettes et tous les services publics et appareils électroménagers.

Le complexe est situé dans la ville historique de Kapaa, Kauai. Vous pouvez attraper le lever du soleil le matin sur l'océan Pacifique ou même voir des baleines pendant la saison de migration. Le complexe est à distance de marche des restaurants, boutiques, magasins et épiceries.

La salle de bain est meublée avec du savon, du shampoing et du conditionneur, ainsi qu'un sèche-cheveux. Il y a aussi un fer et une planche à repasser dans l'unité.

Le Pono Kai Resort possède de nombreux équipements sur place. Tennis, basket-ball, salle d'exercice, jeu de palets, fers à cheval, mini-golf, terrain de croquet, jeux de société, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. Vous pouvez louer des vélos à côté et nous sommes situés à 5 minutes de toutes les activités nautiques; canoë, kayak, surf, etc ...

Il y a des barbecues dans tout le complexe et une laverie dans chaque bâtiment.

It was great!! We were there for our granddaughters graduation. So very convenient. Our daughter lives in Kapaa, that was walking distance. The room was excellent, with everything you needed. Had five other family members stay with rooms as well. Enjoyed the pool with all the games, great for family and kids. I would love this same room again. Thank you for providing a great stay.

Great Location with Beautiful Views, Minor Room Issues

We really enjoyed our stay in Kapa’a! The location was fantastic, just steps away from the water and right along the scenic 8-mile trail. The unit had everything we needed, and we especially loved the balcony where we could relax and watch the waves.There were a couple of minor issues to note. We experienced some torrential rains during our stay, and one window leaked each time. Additionally, the room we stayed in was one of the older units that hadn’t been updated yet, and the floors were quite noisy.The air conditioning didn’t quite reach the bedroom, but we found that opening the windows helped keep the space comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place for its location and amenities!

Loved staying here. The room was clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. It was in a great location. They had grills outside that you can use. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

Clean and stocked with whatever we needed for an excellent vacation! Very impressed!

It was a great experience and I would stay here again! Sure, may have more updated properties on island, but no other property is as accomadating! Bocce ball, yard games, ping pong, tons of free games and rentals available! This is the best property on island!

Amazing vacation

We will be coming back as this place has everything. We stayed 22 days and the staff are great. Lots of places walking distance from condo. The beach out front is great. You can rent chairs, snorkeling gear , coolers and more. Lots of fun stuff to do on sight also games and have a pool.

Great facilities on the water

Each morning we would wake up and walk across the facilities to watch the sun rise over the ocean. There weee nearby hammocks and other seating just for this purpose. The condo was clean and well maintained. This was a very easy place to fall in love with.

Family and friends Trip

Our room was amazing! Had a garden view as well as a spectacular ocean view! We occupied 6 rooms, and all were great! Clean and comfortable. Loved that we could get a new beach towel everyday :) The pool was amazing as well. They have so much to do there on the property, and lots of games you can borrow! Fun for all! Can't wait to go back!

Our experience at pono Kai was great most everyone was friendly everting was clean and beautiful. Beautifully landscaped the grandsons loved the pool & koi pond as swell as the giant chess set. It was a blast to see all the wild chickens!

I loved the staff they were super helpful and friendly but I didn’t like that my room wasn’t ready when we got there. It took them 1 1/2 for our room to be cleaned and ready but when we got in our room smelled so clean and fresh.

Nice!

Love the restricted ocean view and the sound of waves crashing onto the beach. Condo is very close to the beach, but waves at the time were too rough for swimming. But no problems, there are other beaches with much calmer water a short drive away.

Great Location!

We loved the location of this property, especially the proximity to the walking/biking trail that goes for some miles along the beautiful beach, and the nearby restaurants and shopping opportunities. Having an elevator in the building was handy for initial move in. The pool and spa are a bit small for the number of units in this complex, making it challenging at times to find space in that area, but it was workable. The unit could use a facelift, particularly the flooring, but guessing that would need to be a project for the entire complex, not just one unit. It was very workable and we really enjoyed breakfast on the patio each day. We had a lovely stay in paradise!

Unexpected

The pictures of this condo (j202) do not reflect anything about it. A plus is that it has been well updated and looks nothing like the pictures, it also has a King bed not a queen. House keeping did not address our room after the first night we were there but did after the second night- we weren’t expecting it at all since this is a condo so it was uncomfortable to come in to my undies and things being moved. This unit is backed up by the busy roads so there was considerable road noise all hours but it was otherwise very comfortable. Also, the hot tub and pool were not working right- the hot tub was luke warm and the pool really really cold. There was a sign up saying that it would be fixed “tomorrow” but that seemed perpetual.

Could have been great

The grounds are nice and staff was courteous. The room was fine with the exception of one pivotal item. The air conditioning is not sufficient to cool the bedroom and it was hot. I am a firefighter from the desert where it is very hot, so its not like we cannot take heat. This is a known problem as we spoke to others there and they had the same experience with the one bedroom units. We tried opening the windows at night to get outside air, but all of the bedrooms face the common walkway and our neighbors smoked marijuana every night and it would waft in the room and there wasn't enough air movement to cool off anyway. There was a portable fan there, and we placed it in the hall to try and direct some of the air conditioned air in the bedroom, but it was still uncomfortable at night. The complex needs to have an additional head unit for the AC in the bedroom. Everything else was ok, location is convenient for the island. This is my 7th time to Kauai, so I feel I have a decent data set for where to stay-if you like to be comfortable at night give this one a miss.
