Welcome to Shady Creek, your peaceful and playful Smoky Mountain escape! This large cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, fun, and serenity — featuring 3 spacious bedrooms, multiple built-in bunk beds, and a layout that’s ideal for families or groups.

Settle in with the soothing sounds and dip your toes in the adjoining creek, unwind in the hot tub under the stars, or relax on the large deck surrounded by nature. Inside, kids will find their own mountain paradise with a dedicated game room, air hockey table, and an extra-large TV perfect for movie nights or gaming marathons.

Tucked away in the woods yet just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the national park entrance, Shady Creek combines the privacy of a secluded retreat with quick access to shops, attractions, and trails. Whether you're adventuring outside or cozying up indoors, this cabin has something for everyone — from peaceful mornings to unforgettable family fun.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Home is cute and comfortable creek in the back made for a relaxing evening on the deck.

“Gorgeous Creek View, Disappointing Stay”

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view of the creek is stunning, but that’s the only good part. The house was not clean, the washer didn’t work properly, and there was no internet or TV connection during my entire stay. Definitely needs better maintenance and management.

Wonderful family cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 loved staying at the Shady Creek Cabin! The cabin itself feels like a getaway with lots of space, a play room loft, sunrooms, 2 porches, a hot tub, a fire pit, and a mountain stream just past the back porch! The kids loved wading into the cool water and balancing on rocks; the adults enjoyed the tranquility of listening to the rushing water while relaxing in the hot tub. The spacious cabin can comfortably fit 10 guests. The floorplan has 2 master suites (1 has a king bed the other has 2 built in full beds) with each having a large en suite bathroom as well as an adjoining sunroom with access to the back porch (each sunroom has a twin bed with trundle). The playroom upstairs can entertain children from toddlers to teens and has an adjoining bedroom with 2 built in twin beds. Additionally, there is a fully furnished kitchen and half bath with full sized washer and dryer. I also spotted a pack-n-play in a closet if needed. The shady Creek cabin is aptly named as the shade provides a continuous respite during the summer months. It was never uncomfortably warm by the cabin even though it felt very hot just down the road.Shady Creek Cabin is about 30 minutes from the sugarlands visitor center (the main entrance to GSMNP), 20 min from the main strip in Gatlinburg, and less than 10 minutes from the Greenbrier entrance which has some hiking and a beautiful mountain river. We had a battery failure with our key code one night and Elk Springs sent a technician to fix it asap.
