Lots of space ! Kiddos loved the bunkbed , plenty of bathrooms & bedrooms , location was perfect to all the tourist spots. Wasnt able to use the fireplace due to weather , but hot tub was the perfect touch. Most comfortable beds ive ever felt ! Only down spot was the cleanliness, dog hair everywhere (my son is very allergic , so that was horrible for him), food on the drawers, garbage on top of the fridge. But that is not a cabin issue , just a cleaner issue . Host responded very very quickly and was amazing at handling everything. Plus side !!! A family of bears paid us a visit 3
Our stay at this location was perfect! Close enough to Dollywood and all the touristy sites, but far enough where youre not in the middle of it all. We also found some delicious restaurants very close to the house outside of all the traffic which was awesome, also a very cute little grocery store righ down the road. The house was comfortable foe all and we loved the fire put area and hot tub! Would definitely recommend.
Overall this was a great property, but having never been to the area we did not realize how steep and narrow the mountain roads were in Tennessee. The driveway is very steep and there are only two ways to the cabin one way is full of narrow tight cut back roads and one way was very easy to navigate until we reached a very very steep hill that our vehicles almost did not make it up. The property should add photos of the driveway so you can get an idea of the steepness and tight aspect of navigating to and from the property. Great space for parking and there is space to turn around in the driveway! The roads to and from have nearly no lights on them so make sure you are home before the sunsets or it gets even more difficult to travel. This is truly a mountain getaway! You have access to three community pools that may be open but the property can make no guarantees that you will get to use a pool since it is a benefit of the HOA. The pool closest to this cabin was closed down for the season and we could not find the other two pools that were further up the mountain. Management is very responsive and the cabin comes stocked with everything you need. The hot tub was not in the greatest condition but it was a nice amenity.
The property is beautiful added another night at the last minute which they was very helpful with had 3 adults 4 children and plenty of room for everyone to have there own space . Even had a late night visit from a black bear who put on quite the show for us ! Will definitely be back ! Cades cove is a definite place to go seen so many bears and neat things !
We traveled as a family of 5 with kids. The cabin was clean, had a beautiful view and so much space. Couldâve easily fit two small families or a larger family as the bottom floor had two bedrooms and an extra living room.
They rooms were comfortable with a great view, hot tub was great, youâre able to hear everything from the main bedroom and upstairs. Only issue was we tried to run the dishwasher and it seemed to backup into the sink so we just handwashing the dishes we purchased in the shops around. , loved the separate down stairs for the kids. But great overall stay!
It was a beautiful cabin and such a relaxing setting. The covered hot tub allowed us to enjoy even in low temps, rain, and snow flurries! The jetted tub inside was clean and perfect to end the days! Would stay there again!
The house accommodated 9 of us, unfortunately the bedrooms downstairs had the TV's removed. There was no extra blankets or pillows to use. They only left one trash bag for 3 days. You must bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. The jetted bathtub in the main bedroom was unusable, the hot water ran out before a third of the way full. They did not provide enough disher pod for the whole weekend either. You can hear everything through the walls and floors, making it hard to get sleep if others are still awake. I dont think the people who clean dust the woodwork or mop the floors and the furniture on the main floor is stained up. I will say the host was very responsive leading up to our stay, not sure if its privately or commercially owned. The house itself was a great location and accommodated us for the few days we were there, just be prepared to buy things that should of been provided!!!
Family trip with my mother that along with my father took my sister and I to Gatlinburg so many times when weâre children. We lost my father 3 years ago and realize more and more the importance of spending time with family and creating new memories. At first contact with the property owner I shared this and was met with such kindness. Owner is very quick to respond to any questions and helpful. They made us feel very welcome at their property. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for helping us continue our family tradition and create lasting memories for us and the kids.
The cabin itself is great. Spacious for the whole family and convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but we experienced multiple issues. We still had a lovely time, but I donât think management takes the feedback seriously nor do they attempt to address the issues previously reported.
Cons
1. Dishwasher was not working
- Washing machine BARELY works. Missing knob for load size and not all cycles work, very little agitation.
2. Both TVâs in downstairs bedrooms donât work
Roku in upstairs bedroom doesnât work
3. No overhead lighting in master. Very dark at night and one bedside lamp doesnât work. Theyâre mini lamps and not standard size.
4. Doors to master bath donât close
5. No shelving in master shower - had to put our stuff on the floor
6. Sofa bed broken. No air mattress available as stated by renter. Had to sleep on the couch.
7. No hangers in downstairs closets
8. No broom or vacuum
9. No privacy in master as it has an open ceiling to main floor above the bedroom and bathroom.
10. Toiletries are very limited. Two days max on soap and shampoo/conditioner per two people.
Pros
Management company is very responsive but delivers canned replies as seen in the reviews.
Very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Spacious for a large family.
Had a Christmas tree which was delightful.
Enjoyed two nights in the mountains with family. Cabin is off the beaten path and was perfect. Rooms were bigger than the pictures represented. Very clean!
First time we have been to Gatlinburg. The cabin was wonderful with a great fall view and secluded in the woods. The view from the back porch was spectacular. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the hot tub especially after a day of hiking and fishing,
Were looking for a weekend getaway for the extended family and pets and this home fit the bill perfectly! Plenty of space for 7 people and pets and comfortable furniture all around. Will definitely keep this bookmarked for another trip!
Overall the property and cabin were very clean. The dishwasher wasnât working properly and the pillows on the beds could be replaced as some have lost their firmness!! We enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out were very easy!! Good location and 10-15 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg.Great location!!
Overall this house was awesome, 10/10. The cleanliness in some areas could have been better. The hosts were great and responsive, would stay here again
Although the cabin was clean it could definitely use a deep clean to rid corners of dead bugs and cob webs. Mattresses not very comfortable but plenty of beds for 10 people. Needs little things updated, first and foremost the cookware. Only 2 skillets and the large one was very scratched up and gummy and not able to be used. Only provided 1 dish cloth and dish towel and 4 wash cloths (for 10 people). Need toilet paper holder in upstairs bathroom. Needs larger kitchen trash can. Door knob leading to basement falling off which my husband fixed. Beautiful week and lovely area but didnât see any bears :(
Had to check in late due to unit not ready when we got there but not a big deal. No pool pass was found at property luckily we were still able to use the pool. Only one issue with unit. The stairs and hand rail has screws and nails sticking up. Had to make sure to keep shoes on to prevent any issues. All in all a great cabin with a good view. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this unit again.
