Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! The apartment was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the pool and the hot tubs with sand on the bottom were awesome. The condo is located in a great central location on the island with a grocery store across the street and half way between the south and north shore. The condo looks out onto a parking lot but that was clear from the pictures ahead of time. Overall we had a great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location for the condo was perfect and condo itself is perfect for 2 couples. We loved the condo overall. The kitchen is well stocked and they give you lots of bathroom and kitchen supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc). Our only complaints were the beds were a little to soft for our liking, the pool was so cold we didn't really want to use it and the living room furniture wasn't extra cozy - but it does have a pullout couch if you are looking for that.

Beautiful condo

We all had a fantastic time in Kauai and the condo only contributed towards the great experience. We’d stay here again! It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Home away from home!

Can’t wait to return

We loved our stay at Waipouli. This is our second time there and we couldn’t have been happier with the resort. Exactly what our family needed— family friendly pool, enough space and beds for all of us, and a fully stocked kitchen to keep us fed!

Great spot for kids and central location

We loved staying here. The resort is located in a great spot making it easy to get to any beach on the island. Access to nearby groceries, dining, and local beaches are also fantastic. The property itself is very nice and clean. It's a modern building with great insulation between units. We never heard any of our neighbors. I loved having access to the amazing pool and waterslides for my kiddos. It did a great job of wearing them out for bedtime which made for a lot of peaceful nights which means a lot to the parents of a 2 and a 4 year old!

Great place to stay!

Walking in, it is just like the pictures, nice and spacious. The location can’t be beat. We were so close to everything just a few minutes drive to other activities. Very nice pool, the kids loved it. Excellent restaurant on site. Communication with Angela was great! This place is very well maintained, would stay again!

Loved it.

The condo was super nice and roomy. We really liked the full kitchen and washer dryer. The pool/grounds were amazing as was the beach. coming back for sure.

Our stay was too short!!

Renting this proprietary was seamless. The communication was wonderful and it was so much more than we expected. Wish we could've stayed at least a week, but we will be back.

Wonderful stay. The sliding door wasn’t locked one night and the AC didn’t work all night. Other than that everything was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing! The beds and bedding were soooo nice and the condo is stocked with everything you need. There is everything for the beach-chairs, towels, coolers, etc. Great location to each side of the island, Close by stores, grocery store, starbucks, shopping etc. The workout out room is awesome, pools etc are beautiful. You can rent bikes, snorkel equipment in the lobby. The spa is also very worth going to and the restaurant on site is yummy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Kapaa in Kauai as it is a central location to everything. Angela's place is in Kaipouli Beach Resort conveniently located right across from Safeway and ABC stores as well as multiple stores and restaurants. The unit itself has all the comforts of being a home and we especially appreciated all of the pots, pans, plastic bins, rice cooker, blender, etc. It was the first time that our 4yr old learned to swim. We rented a life jacket at a nearby Snokel Bob. He then hit the kiddie pool with small rock/sand and then migrated over to the big pool. We are saving the pool slides for the next visit. Having fresh new towel from the pool was added bonus.

Wonderful Central Location and Nice Unit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice! Lighting situation was a little awkward because most of the lamps were unplugged. The staff listed as point of contact were exceptional and very helpful with our questions as we had to reach out to them for some information. We had just arrived and encountered who we believed to be the owner coming in the door just after we arrived wanting info about pillows. The individual did not say sorry walking in on us to check on unit and could have been have nicer and handle things better as we had just arrived in the unit. As for the unit we would stay again and found it to be a great unit! Recommendation Drain Screen/strainer for Kitchen sink very cheap and effective. Prevent clogged sinks. Our Trip was Amazing we miss being there!Thanks!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the condo was lovely and clean. We did try to call Remax regarding entry a bit early, but were unable to get any answer. The sofa bed was broken, with a note not to use it. This was unhelpful as there was a need for 3 separate beds. we found a roll a bed and had to put it together. As we had specifically chosen a condo that could accommodate 3 separate sleeping areas, we sure hope no one minds that we used the roll a bed. It is significantly smaller than the queen size sofa bed, but we made it work. The ice maker was not functioning, and yes, we read the instructions. so annoyances were minor. and we would stay there again. overall, very nicely decorated and stocked.

Great location! This is a parking lot view but great for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location is fantastic, being close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and the Wailua River. The pools and jacuzzi added an extra layer of enjoyment after spending our days exploring various beaches around Kauai. However, there were a few aspects that weren't as positive. The condo had an unpleasant odor that made us spend most of our time outside, only using it for sleeping. Even then, the odor seemed to linger, affecting our comfort. Additionally, although we had reserved accommodations for five people, we were unable to use the rollout beds provided. This forced us to make do with the sofa, which didn't have clean sheets. The sofa bed also lacked extra blankets, leaving my son without sufficient cover and having to improvise with what was available. Despite having initially reserved for five people, it turned out there were only accommodations for three beds. This was unexpected, especially since my husband and I shared the Queen bed. Despite these inconveniences, the condo's location was a major highlight, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience.

Great unit that could be even better with a few improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really nice stay. Thank you! I have a few suggestions that would make staying at this unit more pleasant. My feedback.1. Most of the dishes don't fit in the dishwasher. Only the smallest dishes fit and there are only about 4 of those. Needs more size appropriate dishes. 2. The extra pad on the beds makes the beds extremely soft. Too soft. The mattress has its own pad already so the additional pad is unnecessary and cumbersome to remove and store. 3. The bedroom with the king size bed has a vent that points directly toward one side of the bed which makes sleeping a constant fluctuation of freezing cold then hot or normal temperature. 4. A large puddle forms in the kitchen from either the fridge or AC condensation (I think). It's a slipping hazard. We weren't sure which towel to use to sop it up. 5. Ripped screen doors let mosquitoes in. 6. Would be nice having a functioning TV in room with queen size bed. Despite these issues we had a great stay and would recommend the unit and resort.
