Great location. Super close to town. Great bathroom and great shower. Also nice kitchenAnd outdoor patio. Interesting layout of living area makes hard to convene for an inside convo or TV night. And loud noise from water pump? Throughout evening in one bedroom. Host very responsive.
The property was so cute - the pictures don't do it justice! Roxanne was an excellent and communicative host. I told her we were celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and she very sweetly had a card and balloons for her in the kitchen! The center of town is very close by. I'd highly recommend this place and would be very glad to stay again!
Had a really nice stay here - was very close to the center of Healdsburg (no more than 5 min drive) and had everything we needed. Was very comfortable for three of us visiting Healdsburg for a wedding.
What a lovely little property! The location was great and a very short drive into town and close to many wineries. We spent every morning sitting out on the cute patio drinking coffee and listening to the birds under the beautiful trees. And it was the best stocked house we have ever stayed in! Great selection of spices for cooking and all the other essentials. Fantastic!
Stayed three nights to attend a wine festival and go to the coast. Lovely home, quiet and peaceful away from the main street but close enough. Uber was plentiful and just a few dollars to get to town. It is a beautiful area.
The owner of this house has made one of the best attempts I have ever seen to make sure that every need for a guest is addressed. The hospitality is spot on and the house is very comfortable. The house has beautiful antiques, a great deck and it is only two miles from downtown Healdsburg.
We had a wonderful time at Roxanne's home that is perfect location for wine tasting. The entire home is well stocked with everything you need and extremely clean. Roxanne is very easy to communicate with.. We would love to return!
Short turn off of Dry Creek Rd. Hidden in the trees and hills. Charming home with beautiful private outdoor area. House is well stocked for anything you may need and has a cozy fireplace. Roxanne was super helpful and accommodating. We love this area and would definitely stay here again. Close to Dry Creek General Store and a ton of wineries.
My friends and I were impressed with the house for being clean and well kept. We especially appreciated the spacious and beautiful outdoor patio. Roxanne was a great host who made sure we had amenities we needed e.g. bug spray, hand sanitizer, towels, etc., and provided clear instructions for us before and during the stay. Would recommend this place for others!
Roxanne was super easy to get in touch with and was very flexible even when we were running late to check out on time. Her house was also very clean and appreciated all the communication she provided ahead of time to get checked in and stay safe with recent COVID-19 guidelines! Thank you Roxanne!
Our stay was made thoroughly successful by having this wonderful home to come back to or stop off in between outings. The location from Healdsburg is ideal. Your in the midst of wine country while still having a quiet,âprivate retreat to recharge! Roxanne is a very thoughtful host who accommodates your needs. She has appointed the home to meet your needs to feel at home. Staying here was a great experience and one worth repeating.
This was the perfect place for a dog. The front patio was fenced in so we could leave
for dinner and our the wedding we came to Healdsburg for and not be worried about the dog. Couldn't have been better. My daughter and son in law loved pole vaulting into the
tall bed (:.
This "cottage" is beautifully renovated and decorated with many whimsical and practical amenities. There is a nice gas stove that warms the house well. The kitchen is thoroughly equipped and modern. The grounds are nicely planted and have a multi-level wood deck, which I imagine is wonderful for morning coffee and evenings in the summer. Our Hostess was very gracious and kept us well informed. I would definitely come back given the opportunity.
This place was PERFECT! My sister and I hadn't had a father daughter trip in forever.this was a short hour and a half ride away from home and we had a great little escape. The bathroom is beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Roxanne was very accommodating and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Best of all, our pups Simba and Mowgli were able to join us and they loved being able to roam free with no worries and take naps on the amazing dog bed. I would recommend this place anytime.
It was a nice property, as advertised. Nice yard to sit in and for the dogs. Near town and not too close .
Leery of using VRBo again as have been cancelled at the last min by other property owners. Pleasantly surprised Jane
We decided to pick this property as it was within an easy trek to Healdsburg as well as very easy to hope on the 101 North or South for more wine adventures.
The property is located up a secluded road and is nice & private. Everything was well stocked and decorated in an interesting and "wine-centric" manner. 2 of the artworks are from a favorite winery & I own one of those prints.
Beds are super comfy and were a great relief after days, (we traveled separately), of long travel & airline delays.
Outdoor seating areas were perfect! We would/will definitely stay here again!
Thanks for a Great Stay!
While I enjoy visiting large cities and exploring different cultures I consider myself a country girl having grown up in Carmel Valley, California. Sonoma County is beautiful and I love it here. I have purchased other homes in the area including in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa.
I have owned this country property for over 30 years. I was drawn to Healdsburg because it was a quaint and rustic farm town. It seemed like a great place to raise two daughters. Healdsburg has flourished over the years and now well known for eclectic offering of fine things in life--food, wine and fun!
I love this location because it is country but not 'too' country. You might awaken to the sound of birds chirping, grapes growing, blackberries blossoming and fun loving people. I love the trees. You are close to the freeway entrance and about two miles to downtown (which is also a nice walk).
