wonderful house

We stayed here with 3 kids under 3 and 2 sets of adults. It is set up in a nice peaceful neighborhood and has lots to do within walking distance from the house. I would book this VRBO again.

Beautiful home close to downtown Grand Haven

We loved the home. It truly was a home away from home. Within walking distance to Grand Haven downtown and the beach. Great for families. Lots of toys for the little ones. There are bikes for the family to enjoy. Highly recommend.

Perfectly positioned, family friendly

Walked to restaurants and entertainment using provided stroller, bikes etc. Play atea for 2 y.o. was appreciated. Nicely appointed and decorated home. A pleasure to stay here. Highly recommend.

Great location to be close to the beach and downtown area.

House was very clean, location was excellent, kitchen had everything we needed. Well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels and dish detergent, soaps, etc. My kids loved the hot chocolate packets! Code easy to use to get in and out. All the bicycles were wonderful! We really enjoyed riding them around town.

Long weekend in Grand Haven

Great home! The space is so much bigger than the pictures make it seem, but yet the pics are very accurate. We’ve stayed in several VRBO’s and the host here takes care of you with so Abby thoughtful amenities from towels and extra toiletries and bikes and what not. The location is great too! We had an excellent time! Thank you!

Michigan Get Away

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, only a few blocks from shops and restaurants downtown and walkable down to the river. It was very cold when we arrived (too cold for the beach), but we enjoyed hiking to the dunes at Rosy Mound Natural Area and our granddaughter loved playing at the Imagination Station playground. We did get to enjoy the beach later in the trip. The house was equipped with everything we needed, from cooking tools to games and toys. We loved having an array of bikes available and rode them everyday. There is a nice trail around Spring Lake and the North Bank trail is nice because it was away from the road. The toys were a huge hit and the games were fun for the rest of us. We did spend time relaxing on the porch also. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to come back again!

I used to rent a small, inexpensive place in Grand Haven for me & my 3 sons, but now they’re all over 21 and have girlfriends, so we needed a bigger place and this one was PERFECT!! It was like a mansion compared to those other rentals, and we loved everything about it! It was spotless, decorated beautifully, well furnished, and in a great location.This was a family reunion, really, because the kids are spread across the US. We can rarely align schedules for even a day at holidays, so it was a big deal to get everyone together for a week. Other than spending afternoons at the beach and our usual trip up to Mac Woods Dune Rides, we didn’t do anything special this trip— except enjoy precious family time cooking together, playing games at the dining room table and hanging out in the backyard. (The only thing we lacked was the ability to stream TV for late night movies.) This beautiful house allowed us to make lots of cherished memories, and we look forward to returning! There’s a great selection of games, bicycles & beach toys for the entire family— even train table & foosball table. We used the grill every evening and all of the “kids” took advantage of the adult bikes to ride to & from the beach or around town. They loved the tandem bike, and the front porch provided a scenic “quiet moment” space.I won’t lie: it was a stretch for me to spend more than usual on our rental, but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you, Heidi, for a gorgeous place & great experience!
Basement was like its own apartment with huge bedroom & bathroom. Perfect for couple who wants more privacy or quiet.

Margaret Trent Family Vacation

Overall our stay was great. House had plenty of room and was comfortable. I do not like to be negative but this might help with future peoples stays. We did not have enough towels. The towels and some cleaning supplies were in a closet that had a code. I had to leave a message for the Property Mgr and she got back with me the next day. My fault I didn't write the code down as I was talking to her when she gave it to me so I could not access the brooms to sweep the kitchen floor. Also, the property has a tile counter top which I have never dealt with and that was a bear to keep clean. I don't think it would cost too much to put some sort of solid counter in there, I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't like the tile counter with the grout lines. Hope this doesn't sound too picky, overall the house was great and the location was awesome!

Thank you Margaret for your comments. There are two large towels supplied for each bed. There are also a large amount of beach towels supplied. There is a fully stocked laundry area for those who what a fresh towel each time. There were basic cleaning supplies under the sink in kitchen along with a broom and dustpan. As for the kitchen counter, I appreciate your comment and you are the first to have mentioned this as an issue. Thanks for your suggestion about the solid surface. Thanks again

Wonderful Place to Stay

We absolutely loved our stay in Grand Haven. This home offers easy access to the downtown entertainment area, and is very close to the warm sandy beach. The house was clean and very well stocked. We were extremely impressed by the play table and toys for our grandson, as well as bikes for every age. I think the home felt larger than the pictures make it look. The neighborhood was great, and quiet streets and sidewalks made biking and walking a breeze. We would definately stay again. Thank you.

Lovely house in excellent location

This was my first VRBO experience. The house was very comfortable and had lots of great amenities. It is located close to downtown and everything we wanted to see and do. There were some communications and housekeeping glitches upon check-in, but the property manager and housekeeper fixed them to our satisfaction. I would rent this house again, and we absolutely loved Grand Haven.

Charming Vacation House

My family, from teens to my 80 year old mom, enjoyed a relaxing week in Grand Haven. The house is in more of a residential area with a cute front porch and a garage full of bikes, corn hole and picnic table. The kitchen has an island bar for people keeping you company while you cook. We rode our bikes (about a mile?) to the beach every day without any problems. The stairs are a bit steep for seniors FYI, but fine for the rest of us. Overall the house is a bit cuter and larger than the photos show, especially in the living room and kitchen. Overall we had a lovely time in this charming house.
