Modern 3-bedroom house with EV Charger in West Jefferson
Welcome to Fairway Lodge, a newly renovated mid-century modern cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Situated just past the 12th tee of Mountain Aire Golf Course, 1.5 miles from Old Barn Winery and just 5 minutes from downtown West Jefferson, Fairway Lodge is perfectly situated for a fun getaway.
Want to stay in? Cook in the newly renovated kitchen with all-new appliances. Then eat out on the deck and end the night with stories around the fire in the backyard. Or spend time relaxing in the soaking tub.
EV owners wonât have to worry about charging your car, with a built-in charger free to use for all guests.
I loved the layout of the house in general. I slept in the master BR, which I thought was very comfortable and the bathroom is huge and new! The outside area was also VERY cozy with the fire ring and fenced in, large yard where I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffees. I could not stop taking pictures of the leaves! My ONLY suggestion to future renters is that if you arrive after dark it is REALLY DARK up there and trust your GPS....yes, you DO drive across, what appears to be a golf cart path and YES you DO drive across a fairway :) and the gravel road is STEEP. I had NO problem getting up the hill, but I wouldn't want to try it in the winter and DEFINETELY not without a 4 WD truck. Overall, it was great and communication with the host was top notch. 5 STARS for sure! I would definitely go there again.
The house was perfect for 2 couples for our weekend getaway to attend a concert at the Old Barn Winery. It was nice having 2 1/2 baths...all totally remodeled! The kitchen was well equipped with a regular coffee maker and a keurig K cup. The beds were comfortable with fans in all the bedrooms.
Awesome home and so quiet and beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer but already planning our return. Perfect place to celebrate my sister's birthday!
This house has been newly renovated and was very cozy for our family of 5. The location worked very well for all that we wanted to do in Boone and West Jefferson. Found some great spots for food including: Third Day Kitchen (great views and serene) and the Dough Shed (immaculate restaurant that had a fabulous, well stocked buffet even in late afternoon). We were there in a bit of a heat wave and did find the lack of central AC a little hard and the multitude of newly installed light switches took some trial and error. Otherwise, a very pleasant mountain setting!
