Little House by the Water -1 room house in a quietly beautiful rural setting.

Escape to the beauty of rural Southern Maryland. The Little House on the Water is the perfect place to unwind and surround yourself with the natural beauty of this area. The Little House is one large room with a kitchen and bathroom. There is a queen size bed and a futon that opens up into a comfortable double bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, waterless cookware, mixing bowls, blender, coffee maker, refrigerator, oven and Microwave. The view from the inside offers the opportunity to look out on the water and see eagles, herons, osprey, hawks and various other smaller birds. The screened porch provides a perfect place to sit and have morning coffee, salute the sunrise and drink in the quiet There are 3 restaurants within 15 minutes and several more in Leonardtown, about 20 minutes away. Brochures and menus are provided in the guestbook. There are several places in the vicinity that offer live music on the weekends.
There are also several bike and hiking trails. In addition, if you are into fishing or crabbing you can do that from our dock. And you can bring your own kayak or rent one in Leonardtown to cruise the various creeks in the area. There is WiFi provided through a repeater from the main house. It is functional but may not be adequate for large downloads.

There is air conditioning and baseboard heaters to insure your comfort.
