Appartement de deux chambres, à la fin du point peut accueillir six personnes et a une belle vue panoramique sur la rivière Potomac. Les clients ont des privilèges de la piscine et un bain à remous. Appartement est un pâté de maisons de la rivière et deux blocs de la baie, la distance des restaurants et d'autres attractions à pied. L'appartement est entièrement équipé avec wifi, télévision par câble ainsi que d'une nouvelle cuisine avec lave-linge / sèche-linge, 6 couchages. Attched est notre résidence principale détenue par Eric et Edward.

Lovely apartment with water view

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful getaway to celebrate our 20th anniversary. This was the perfect place! The well-appointed space includes a lovely little private balcony overlooking a park and the Potomac River which we enjoyed every morning. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a full size refrigerator, range, oven, small appliances such as toaster, toaster oven, Keurig (with delicious coffee pods provided!), cutlery, etc. The bed was very comfy, the living room has a comfy couch, chairs, large TV, games, etc. Only drawback we find was a small shower and steep stairs leading up to the apt, but Edward (one of the wonderful hosts) helped us carry our luggage up and made us feel quite welcome! We loved sitting in the hot tub under the starry sky, and we're looking forward to coming back to enjoy the pool and outdoor lounge area during the summer!

Great Weekend Stay

We stayed here for a final end of summer getaway. My son greatly enjoyed the pool and all the floats. It is a second floor apartment, so the stairs were a bit of a challenge for my mom, but Edward kindly helped her bring our stuff upstairs as I hadn't arrived yet. Overall, we had a lovely time and hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful property

Recently stayed here with my daughter for a girls trip. The property is beautiful and the owners were nice and friendly. I was a little disappointed that they gave us less than an hours notice that they were having a get together and we weren’t permitted in the pool area until they were done. Other than that we had a nice experience.

Excellent place with wonderful hosts.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. The kids loved having full access to the pool. The hosts were extremely welcoming and available. We hope to stay again next year.

Fabulous Stay

Wonderful stay! The apartment was perfect for our trip, it was very clean and had everything we could’ve needed. The pool/backyard area was amazing. The location was great; right across from a park we we’re able to take our dog to every day. Beautiful views. The owners were so nice and we definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

5 Stars in Colonial Beach

We had an absolutely excellent time at Edward and Eric’s place. The location was convenient to everything! We had an incredible view straight to the river, not far from the point, and only a 5 minute drive to restaurants and stores. Also, the dog park on the bay side was super close! The house was perfect. Good kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable bedrooms and living room. The pièce de résistance was the pool in the backyard oasis. It was perfect with places to lounge in the sun and shade. Absolutely perfect! And Edward had great recommendations for places to go! Definitely coming back!

All around awesome

We enjoyed an incredible getaway at Eric and Edward's place. Accurate listing, excellent communication, fantastic location. This was our first trip to Colonial Beach, and due in large part to the wonderful hospitality by our hosts, we hope to return again and again!

Fantastic Stay

We had an amazing time with Ed and Eric! The location at the south end of Colonial Beach was perfect (quiet beach but walking distance to downtown) and the pool area was very relaxing. The condo was clean and spacious for our family (1 year old, 4 year old, dog). Highly recommend!

WONDERFUL stay in gorgeous apartment

I truly can not say enough wonderful things about our stay at Eric and Edward's apartment. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with Eric's artwork and very comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen was SO incredibly equipped, we were shocked at all of the available appliances and things like spices, GOOD knives, etc. The location is great -- literally just across the park from the river, and probably a little over 100 yards to a beach! Walking distance to a great tiki bar and restaurant, and super close to lots of great little restaurants. We were provided with lots of information about the area, including restaurant recommendations, all of which were spot on. And the pool area was absolutely perfect -- this is where we spent most of our time! Lots of shade for those who need it, but plenty of sun worshiping space for those looking to get a tan! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Bright, clean and comfortable, perfect!

We had never been to Colonial Beach and are so glad we came to Edward & Eric's slice of heaven. Their apartment was perfect for us and our two fur babies. We had plenty of room to stretch out and great deck to enjoy our coffee each day after exploring the many parks and trails around the area. A fully equipped kitchen was great for creating some home cooked meals. A couple of nights we played games out of the cabinet instead of watching TV. Every night the sunsets were incredible, we saw eagles and osprey and loved the quiet neighborhood. We even arrived home one day to find a vase of fresh cut daffodils! I wish I could give Edward and Eric 10 stars for their lovely and accommodations and hospitality. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

The best!

This was our third time to the bluebird and we have nothing but great things to say about it. First, the place is very clean-I’m a little germaphobic and wiped every surface with Clorox wipes when we got there and the wipes were spotless. The hosts, Edward and Eric, couldn’t be nicer. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We even borrowed two beach chairs! The pool is an oasis-tons of fun floats, crystal clear salt water, and just an overall fabulous outdoor space with lots of seating options. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

ALWAYS WONDERFUL!

The beach house in Colonial Beach was such a lovely escape from the city. I believe this was our 4th time visiting. Eric and Edward are such fantastic hosts. The house was extremely well stocked, with everything would could have needed or wanted. The house was immaculately clean. The pool is always a stunner, with such a beautiful backyard. Come check out Eric and Edward's charming place, and the lovely town of Colonial Beach you will not be disappointed!

Cozy Apartment by the Potomac

This property was a perfect fit for two adults. Entire living space was nicely and cheerfully appointed and came with many amenities, including full kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, wi-fi, ROKU TV, balcony facing the water, ceiling fans in each room, board games, bicycles stored outside and more. Outdoor courtyard area featured a lovely gazebo seating area with gas-flame heater. Pool (seasonal) and jacuzzi were also part of the amenities. Apartment was a just a short walk to the picturesque Potomac waterfront.

Not as great as last visit

The apartment is well stocked and was fairly clean. We just had a much better experience in June. The property description still indicated there was a pull out couch and we were not informed that changed a month ago until we arrived. Also last time we had no problem with using the pool but one of our three days this time we arrived at the pool to find out the owners were using it for friends. We would have scheduled our day differently if we had been informed. Last time communication was excellent, this time we were not even informed they would be at the pool. Also based on the listing description it seems renters get priority with the pool. We had one last chance for a pool day before school starts and my children were very disappointed when they arrived and were turned away (as were my husband and I). The tv remote also did not work when we arrived. There were not batteries in the apartment so we had to go get some to replace. In addition the smoke detectors were not attached. They were on the shelf broken

So wonderful we came back

The only thing better than the adorable apartment at Edward and Eric's home is the amazing pool, which they so graciously share with the tenants. This was our third trip to lovely Colonial Beach and our second time at Edward and Eric's place, we just love it. The house is fully stocked and has everything you could want/need. Evenings on the balcony with a view of the river is so delightful. We're counting down the days until we can return!

Terrific!

The apartment was perfect for my family - very well equipped, nice view, spotless, a short walk to a small, quiet beach. The pool and pool area was great with beautiful landscaping, comfortable chairs and a mix of sunny and shady spots. Highly recommended!

Perfect summer getaway spot!

We enjoyed a much needed summer getaway for 5 nights at this property. It had everything we needed to cook, play, and relax with two young girls (7yo and 4.5yo). Home owners were very kind and gracious. Always made sure the saltwater pool was clean every morning especially since there were some heavy rainstorms most evenings. 2 local river front beaches were nice options to play in the sand and water. Local Food Lion was well stocked and local ice cream shop was very yummy! We also enjoyed a short walk on the pier and boardwalk areas. Definitely would consider staying here again!

The perfect escape!

We were looking for a place with a pool for a change of scenery since we’ve been home for months in the pandemic. Something to look forward to. We’ve never been to colonial beach. This house could not be more idyllic! The backyard is paradise. Edward the host was so friendly and helpful. The apartment has a private entrance and was very clean! The kid-friendly balcony was a nice bonus. We had several meals out there and enjoyed the water breezes. We all loved the salt water pool with all of the floats and special touches. Floating drink holders included :) Perfect location too. We took the stroller on beach walks every morning and we were the only ones out. Very serene. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The best rental we’ve ever stayed in anywhere. We would love to come back!

AMAZING

I met my 3 best friends there and we had an amazing time; start to finish. There was not one glitch, hiccup and everything provided was exactly as the pictures showed. Perfect place. We’ll go back quarterly.
