If you’re anything like us, you love the beach more than anything. But you also have a special place in your heart for the mountains, too. If that sounds like you, we have the ideal spot for your next 30A getaway! Dune Allen Treehouse is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom coastal oasis that was built with post-and-beam construction that gives it a unique mountain cabin feel. You’ll have the best of both worlds, with views of Oyster Lake and gorgeous mature trees surrounding your home, while the beautiful Gulf beaches are only a few steps away, just over the bridge.

Once inside, Dune Allen Treehouse is light and airy, with a spacious main level great room accented with glossy wood floors and exposed cypress wood ceilings. There’s an updated kitchen with plenty of seating that overlooks the main living area and a formal dining room for family dinners or fun game nights. The great room boasts an ultra-comfy sectional sofa and a large HDTV for movie nights or watching the big game.

For complete privacy, there are dual primary suites, each with a spa-like full bathroom. The third bedroom is perfect for kids, and each bedroom is outfitted with a cozy, charming mountain cabin motif. Outside, the fenced-in yard was built for your pooches, who are very welcome to join you on your Dune Allen Treehouse vacation (with a non-refundable fee). There’s also a crystal clear swimming pool and hot tub that can be heated for an additional fee and provide the perfect space for frolicking in the water or relaxing in the warm bubbles after a long day on the beach.

The beautiful white sand and turquoise Gulf waters are just a short stroll over the bridge, and the shores of serene Oyster Lake are right outside your door as well. Or, you can simply pour yourself a glass of wine and have a seat on one of the spacious outdoor porches that overlook the natural beauty around you. You can also settle out by the fire pit in the backyard and roast some marshmallows for s’mores. Dune Allen Treehouse is the perfect place to drop your bags and completely relax into your stunning surroundings.

A Winter Retreat in the Dune Allen Treehouse

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to 30A in January to escape the ice and snow in the Chicago area! The beaches were sunny and deserted - great hiking for us. The Tree House was a ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach. The property was very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing home cooked meals. The home itself was professionally decorated and a real treat - a hidden treasure! I especailly loved the upstairs loft with the view of oyster lake - for reading, writing, and relaxing. Since we came to 30A for seafood as well as hiking - I would definitely recommend Goatfeathers to purchase fresh seafood. The Treehouse is within walking distance of Stinkys - an old time favorite resturant of ours. This trip we also discovered Shunk Gulley - perfectly prepared seafood with a great view!

January truly is a special time here — quiet beaches, beautiful hiking weather, and space to really unwind. It means so much to hear that you found the home well maintained, fully stocked for cooking, and thoughtfully decorated. The upstairs loft overlooking Oyster Lake is one of our favorite features as well — the perfect spot for reading, writing, and simply relaxing. We also love that you explored some local favorites! Fresh seafood from Goatfeathers Seafood Restaurant and dining at Stinky’s Fish Camp and Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar make for the perfect 30A experience. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We would absolutely love to welcome you back to the Treehouse for another coastal escape

Beautiful Home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful and well maintained with a reasonable walk (~10 min) to multiple beach access points. The kids loved the private pool and felt super cool partying with the multi-color light effects at night! Dune Allen Realty was easy to deal with and responsive to any issues.We had a great time, but here are a few observations for tenants:1) HOT WATER! Capacity for a 3 bath house is low, so time your use carefully. Getting hot water to the upstairs bathroom is not possible if anyone is using downstairs. Also, many of the hot/cold water connections are reversed.2) There is not much parking at the nearest beach access points - so if you plan to drive, use google maps to find beach access with more parking.3) The beach at Dune Allen public access is mostly private with only about 30ft of public beach. The private beach to one side is for guests of Dune Allen Realty, but it's not clear if that's for all Dune Allen Realty properties or just for ones adjacent to the beach. We just said "we're staying with Dune Allen" and didn't have any trouble.
