Our family enjoy the location of the home, pool, beach, and access to coffee shops. Home was very clean and comfortable for family of 5 plus more if needed. Communication with owner was amazing and quick response time. We have stayed in other homes and this was the best.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the beach, morning coffee, and shopping. The owner was fantastic with communication and very accommodating when we requested an earlier check-in and later check-out. Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend this home and would love to stay here again!

My family stayed here for our annual summer beach trip! The house was stunning and in a fantastic location! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had, and were so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be rebooking!

This was our first time in Santa Rosa and it couldn't have gone smoother. Josh is a knowledgable host and very accommodating. Our three boys (ages 11,8,6) loved the reading nook, fish fossils, bunk beds, and pool.Its a short walk to the beach, (my 77 yr old mother in law had no problems maneuvering). The kitchen is also well appointed. My favorite part was the master bedroom and spacious bathroom tucked away upstairs with its own balcony. We came the second week of Aug and our street was very quiet and peaceful. You wont find a nicer home that is also pet friendly!

We stayed here for our babymoon and the property was perfect for our trip. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and cookware, and the appliances are newer and well-functioning. The host was very communicative and provided great recommendations for local dining and fish markets. The pools and beach are very close, and given that our visit was in early May, we were grateful for the heated pool. The subdivision is quiet and family-oriented. We loved this location and would be eager for a return visit!

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation week at Brown Eyed Girl. Our 4th year to the Summer's Edge neighborhood and first time at this home.Our three kids loved the bunk room and most especially, the book nook! The home had everything we needed to grill and make meals, which came in handy given the rain throughout the week. Most homes we have stayed in have a master upstairs and we have had issues with becoming overheated - not here! They have installed an extra AC unit and it was the most comfortable sleep we’ve had in the multiple years we’ve come to the area. We appreciate the thoughtful details for convenience and comfort and can't wait to come back next year.

This is truly the perfect home in the perfect place!The property is stunning, clean, well designed and appointed. Information and communication were excellent from our reservation almost a year in advance, to check in/out days. We were welcomed with a personal note and a nice bottle of wine along side a well organized book of helpful information. :) Josh also thoughtfully communicated during our stay to be sure we were doing well and were aware of a brief pool repair issue and to be sure that we were aware that the 2nd pool was still open. The remodel makes for such an inviting and relaxing environment and is wonderfully functional. The large kitchen island open to the living area was in constant use by our family. The large ice machine in the laundry room was a true blessing since we brought 2 backpack coolers to the beach daily. Oh! The huge wagon was a terrific bonus. It pulled a heavy load with ease! Let me just list a few more so that I don't take up too much space: Comfortable beds, 3 full bathrooms, a darling play/book nook that my granddaughter loved, an outdoor grill that we used to cook our vermillion snapper from a fishing trip (Buddy's or Goatfeathers for cocktail sauce and Cole slaw! (Tip: Buddy's, get fresh large shrimp (steamed) and let them cool with the container open before refrigerating to keep them from getting soggy. Chill for a couple of ours and enjoy shrimp cocktail all week!)We look forward to future trips! 3

The Brown Eyed Girl was the most welcoming rental we have ever stayed in. It’s a home full of character, with thoughtful design and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I have never rented from someone as kind and helpful as Josh. He truly made the experience exceptional.The heated community pool was a huge plus, and the short walk to the beach was amazing. I especially loved heading toward Eastern Lake and stepping into warm water, even when the ocean was cold—such a unique and relaxing experience.I can honestly say that if you stay here once, you’ll want to come back again and again. We also had so much fun reading through the guest book, dating back to 2015—it added such a special touch.The gourmet kitchen is incredible! Now I feel like I need to take cooking lessons just so I can come back and fully enjoy everything it has to offer.

We’ve stayed here 5 times and it never disappoints. Easy access to pool and beach. And very close to restaurants on 30-A. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Great place!
