The full kitchen is thoughtfully stocked and ready for anything from sunrise breakfasts to seafood feasts, while the adjacent dining area makes gathering feel effortless.
Each bedroom is designed with flexibility in mind. One offers two twin beds and a pullout couch, making it perfect for families or small groups. The second bedroom provides a calming retreat with its own ensuite feel. With two bathrooms, in-home laundry, and modern conveniences throughout, every detail is covered.
Outside, the private backyard offers space to soak up the sun, enjoy a drink under the stars, or simply savor the quiet. Whether you're paddleboarding nearby, exploring charming local shops, or just enjoying the view, The Burrow is your easygoing escape by the water.
Located in a quiet, picturesque community just minutes from the shoreline, this home offers the perfect mix of peaceful seclusion and easy access to the area’s top attractions. Whether you're planning a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or a friends’ trip filled with fresh air and coastal charm, this destination delivers laid-back vibes and a welcoming local spirit. Home truth: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Due to allergies within the home, please refrain from the use of chemical fragrances. - Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules. - Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.
Parking Information: - Guests benefit from the availability of a driveway for parking, as well as additional off-street parking areas on the property.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Beautiful cottage in walking distance to Langley with restaurants and shops. Very comfortable main room to hang together as family and have dinners and movie nights. The desk in the second bedroom was helpful to squeeze in a little “work from home”. Also parking is right in front of the door so easy unloading and arriving.

This was our second time staying at The Burrow. Although we have been vacationing on Whidbey Island annually since 2009, we have never stayed in the same vacation rental twice. Until now. After our original stay in Oct 2025, we knew we wanted to come back to The Burrow. The location is perfect - we love being able to walk down into Langley for shopping and dining. The house is beautifully appointed and comfortable. My favorite spot in the house is at the desk under the window in the loft. With it's peek-a-boo view of the Saratoga Passage and the pair of eagles that sit in the trees down by the water, it was the perfect place for me. Thank you for another wonderful stay at The Burrow.

We loved staying at The Burrow. It was so nice and cozy. We have stayed at many vacation rentals on Whidbey but The Burrow was the most well appointed of any. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The location is perfect - it was a nice easy walk into Langley. It also has a peek-a-boo view of the Saratoga Passage from the upstairs window. While we have visited Whidbey Island many times, we have never stayed a second time at any of the vacation homes we rented. We agreed that we would definetely stay at The Burrow again. Thank you for such a great place to start our empty nesting.
