Pendant l'été, nous ne pouvons réserver des locations à la semaine que du samedi au samedi.
12 couchages, 5 chambres. 2 salles de bain complètes. 1 a une baignoire. Parking pour 3 voitures dans l'allée nouvellement pavée. Récemment rénové en 2015-2016, construit en 1883, c'est une maison de ferme historique spacieuse de 2400 pieds carrés qui appartient à la même famille depuis 1912 avec de grandes fenêtres Great Room et une terrasse en séquoia de 1200 pieds carrés et un patio en brique avec une table extérieure de bonne taille et un anneau de feu de roche surplombant la plage de Twin Lakes et le phare de la 7e avenue, ainsi que la plage du port, les vagues, les voiliers dérivant avec élégance dans et hors du port.
Beaux couchers de soleil sur la plage et à la maison.
À seulement 1/2 pâté de maisons de la plage. La cuisine et la salle de divertissement ont des planchers de bois franc remis à neuf, des armoires personnalisées, des comptoirs en marbre et en blocs de boucherie et un mini-bar. La salle de divertissement dispose d'un écran plat de 60 pouces et d'un système de son surround 5. 1.
Dans la grande salle, le salon et la salle à manger sont à chaque extrémité avec des planchers de bois franc d'origine et de grands tapis orientaux en laine. Table à manger pour 8 personnes (16 avec les feuilles).
La chambre principale avec un lit king a une vue magnifique depuis de grandes fenêtres donnant sur le lac et la plage. Il a également une porte privée sur le bain en bas. Cette salle de bain a une douche / baignoire avec rails handicapés et une porte sur le hall. Le 2ème étage dispose de 4 chambres. La 1ère chambre à l'étage a 2 lits jumeaux avec une belle vue sur l'océan. La 2ème chambre a 1 lit double avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur le lac et l'océan. La 3ème chambre a de grandes fenêtres face à l'océan, un lit queen et deux lits superposés. La 4ème chambre a un lit double. La salle de bain à l'étage est grande avec douche et lave-linge à chargement frontal. Tous les planchers de bois franc à l'étage ont été remis à neuf.
Le pont a une table en teck avec 8 chaises. Il y a quatre grandes chaises longues réglables et une belle vue sur l'océan. le patio en brique avec le foyer a 8 chaises Adirondack et un barbecue au charbon
Internet WI-FI à la maison. 5 min en voiture de Capitola, 5 min en voiture de la promenade de Santa Cruz Beach. 5 min à pied du port de plaisance. tous sont faciles à vélo.

We have stayed several times at this house for family gatherings. We are a big group of 7-8 adults and 3 kids. We love that there are two living rooms. One has a TV for those who want to watch and the other has a great view for those who prefer not to be in a room with a TV. The kitchen is well equipped. It is a short walk to the beach.

Our family gathers every year to enjoy each other and catch up. The communal setting of this house make it relaxing and fun so many things to do in the santa.cruz area. One main issue, the stairs are very dark and dangerous at night.there is no outlet to plug in a night light in the upstairs hall. The deck does not have a railing which is not safe for small children.

Everything you'd want in a Santa Cruz house
Great location and you can see and walk to the local beach, the harbor and lighthouse, and the Boardwalk. You're on East Cliff drive, but the property is elevated above street level so it does feel separated from the traffic even if you hear the random harley ride by.
The home is accurate to the pictures and description. The kitchen is well equipped, there is plenty of living space for 10+ people, the beds are comfortable, the linens are clean.
My family unanimously voted to book again next summer

We were more than pleased with the property. I was concerned that this 140 years house would be cold & drafty, but it was quite comfortable. We did not need to use the heater at all. It has a nice TV, but we enjoyed the view so much we never watched TV at all. The beds & pillows were clean & comfortable; we all slept well. The showers were good; with 6 people taking showers we had plenty of hot water. The was a fairly new washer & dryer. This house has many picture depicting the history of this old, but charming house. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Eastside Santa Cruz
We enjoyed our time in this "vintage" beach house. The home is older and creaky as you move about but that is part of its charm. There were 11 of us. We were comfortable in the bedrooms and the dining table expanded to accommodate our group. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and other necessities for us to prepare our meals easily. The views of the ocean were enjoyed inside and out all week long. The home is accessed via a small street/alleyway but we had no issues with our 12 passenger van getting to the home or parking in the large driveway which would have accommodated at least one additional car. The management team had information regarding the rental at the house and clear expectations for the home and for check out. It was a very enjoyable week and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

This beach house accommodations were just what we needed for our family. Plenty of space both inside and out.If you want to get out of the sun, the umbrella helps but there is no where to go outside. And the table is not where it is in the picture, it is out the sliding door. The original house was built around the late 1800's and has been upgraded, but there are places that show its age. It was a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The street however, is very noisy with a lot of traffic. There were a couple things that were a negative: the bbq is not what the picture shows, so one of our kids brought their own (the bbq has a big gap in the back where it should be closed so airflow can be controlled), and there is no railing along the deck where someone could fall off and be injured. Be sure you write down the code, when calling as you enter because if you leave before the office opens there is no way to leave the key in the lockbox.

Everything was exceptional with this home. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The view of the beach and lagoon made sitting on the deck fabulous. Only negative: Four remotes for the TV with no instructions. There was a baseball game we really wanted to see but after an hour of attempting to connect NO SUCCESS. Please have more details in the home folder.

This is the 2nd time booking this location. After the 2023 trip I asked my family if they wanted to rebook or try something new, and unanimously they said rebook.Location is key. The property is as represented in the pics and posting. Its comfortable and we had many a meal for 10 and multiple game nights. The kitchen is well equipped. I did bring a drink cooler the 2nd year as the fridge isn't large. Every kitchen doodad and doohicky is there for whipping up a meal. Did I mention the beach? Its right there. Will definitely book again!

We had a great family vacation. This was our second year at this house, and we have put in our reservation for next year.The location is perfect with plenty of room for all of us. There are a few items that need to be upgraded. A LED strip should be installed around the uneven steps at the top of the stairs to avoid anyone tripping at night. The light switch midway on the rail is not in a good location. The lighting in the dining, sitting and TV area quite dim. The overhead fixtures need to be cleaned and brighter bulbs installed. For safety reasons, there should be an outside light to illuminate the back steps and the edge of the patio to avoid someone stepping off the deck since there is no railing.
