Détendez-vous dans le siège de la fenêtre avec un livre ou près du feu dans le salon tout en regardant les dauphins, les surfeurs, les baleines occasionnelles et en jouant à des jeux! Promenez-vous sur la promenade en bord de mer nouvellement pavée sur East Cliff et prenez une bouchée et un café au "Pleasure Point Cafe" récemment rénové dans le virage, dans une atmosphère de plage décontractée. Cette zone abrite le film de surf "Chasing Mavericks"!
41st Ave. à proximité propose des restaurants, de nouvelles brasseries, des cafés, des magasins de surf, des locations de vélos et plus encore!
La cuisine principale, la salle à manger, le salon, 2 chambres avec lits king-size et 2 salles de bains sont au premier niveau. L'UPSTAIRS a une entrée séparée, une kitchenette, 1 grande chambre OCEANFRONT avec lit King et patio OCEANFRONT, 1 petite chambre avec ensemble de lits superposés (rideau comme porte), 1 lit double (avec rideau pour plus d'intimité) et terrasse. Le pont supérieur a également un ensemble de salon de porte et une vue sur l'océan. Téléviseurs à écran plat dans la salle familiale, le maître inférieur et la chambre supérieure en bord de mer!

Family Vacation

Great location great views. There were issues with the heating system and some other minor problems. The property manager worked hard to get someone out to work on system. I would recommend it

Most delightful family gathering

We wanted a place where we could all stay as a family for my niece’s wedding. This exceeded our expectations, as it was not just accommodations for the group, but the most delightful retreat for us all, and we made the most wonderful memories in this beautiful spot

Beautiful ocean view

Older home but nice. Two units (one downstairs and a separate unit upstairs.) Patio area was PERFECT - couldn’t get a closer ocean view. Saw seals, otters, Borland even a whale! One item we requested to be added for safety was a lock on the back gate The caregiver said she would talk with the owner. Really though, an excellent place. .

Amazing Home Away From Home

We booked this place for my mother’s 60th birthday and it was great. The location was ideal for all the activities we had planned during our stay. The house was very well cleaned and supplied everything you needed to enjoy a home away from your own. The layout was nice a supplied addition privacy and plenty of space for multiple people including kids! But the overall best part is the view, it’s private and we saw everything from whales and dolphins to surfers and boats, you could see the pier and board walk day or night as long as it was clear. This house is definitely a place our family would book again.

Great location for our family.

Great location, especially if you don't want to be in a busy spot. It is a quick drive into Capitola and close to Santa Cruz. The weather was warm and mostly sunny. We had 8 people. Ages 21-76, the majority in their 50's. We received clear check-in instructions and had no issues during the stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were nice, with comfortable beds. We didn't need them but there were extra heaters around. I have rented many vacation homes and never had this well stocked of a kitchen. My family cooks and we usually run into problems due to lacking kitchenware. We made big breakfasts and dinners and had everything we needed. There is also a coffee maker upstairs which was convenient. The patio sits above the rocks where the waves crash. A quick walk down the hill and you are on a sandy beach. There are also walking trails. We walked into town daily for coffee. A few blocks from the house is a path along the beach where you can watch surfers. We saw whales. I wish we could have taken our dogs because the outdoor lifestyle there is amazing. Note: The bedroom with the amazing view is upstairs in the apartment and doesn't have its own bathroom. This ended up being fine for us because we are used to traveling together. You have to go outside to the side patio, and into the garage to gain access to the stairwell to the apartment. Usually, I don't stay at the same place twice but I will definitely be back here.

Fantastic! Just as advertised

My family and I had a perfect week in mid-September at this beach house. Roomy, clean, perfect location and well stocked with linens and paper products. Right on the water… if we had been closer to the ocean, we’d have been in a submarine! Highly recommend this beach house!

Family Vacation

Our stay at Pleasure Point was amazing! The waves crashing below the balcony was a bonus. The walk to the beach was just a few houses down from the driveway. The house was very accommodating and fully stocked. We loved it!

Amazing gathering place with beautiful views (mother nature showing off all that is colorful on, on the ocean). The heat is space heaters, not central, which worked well as directed by labels.

Great place for our Family!

We hosted our family at this Santa Cruz gem right after Christmas. The weather was very blustery with high tides and rough water but we had a great time in this cozy home with a fireplace in the living room, lots of fun family games, and a nice spacious and well-equipped kitchen for family meals. The location of this property was so good, especially with the deck right on the ocean. It's a short walk to a little beach, called Moran Lake Beach and to Pleasure Point in the opposite direction. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We thought the separate units might make it difficult to feel "together" for our family, but it was nice to have the part of the family with little ones be able to get up early and not disturb those who needed to sleep in. Everything was fantastic!

Santa Cruz beach house

Nice house with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Everything was clean except that there was a decoration left from the previous guest. Note that while the listing said there is parking space for 5 cars, it is actually 3 for standard sized cars like an accord. The garage would probably only fit smart cars or something that are relatively short in length. Also, the shower upstairs did not work at all, but I suppose there are 2 downstairs that work. Would be nice to have them all working though.

Just What We Were Looking For

This is a great beach house, it's not fancy, but it's clean, very comfortable, has plenty of off street parking, and it was the perfect location for our family. Not shown in the pictures, there is a brand new cooktop, oven and microwave. Our favorite part of the house was definitely the back deck off of the kitchen. Each morning we had coffee, watched the otters, sealions and an occasional pod of dolphins right off the shore, followed by wine and cheese each evening while watching the sun set. Great location between Seabright and Capitola, where there are many great restaurants and plenty of shops.

Chillin' at Pleasure Point.

Plenty of room for grandma and grandpa, 2 moms, 2 dads, 3 grandchildren. Easy walk to the beach, lots to do in Santa Cruz.

We just had a lovely 8 night stay at this property. The location right on the water can not be beat. It's a cozy house--not super fancy but comfortable and relaxing. We went with our daughter/husband and 11 month baby, who used the mini in-law apartment upstairs, which gave them some privacy and us a break from any middle of the night crying. The only thing to be aware of is that the gas fireplace downstairs is the central heat for that unit downstairs, other than space heaters in the bedrooms. Being right on the water, it does get chilly. This was plenty of heat for the home, but with an 11 month old walking around, it was a little challenging keeping him away from it and something we didn't really consider in terms of the practicality of the space for a busy baby. But we managed and we would definitely go back. It was a great house for us and no one wanted to leave.

Fantastic ocean view with big windows. Excellent location, good amenities. However, house much more old and outdated than listing shows and has a bad smell in some rooms.

Great time on the coast

We loved everything about the house, except the furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable. We lived on the deck during the day, & watched the dolphins play. Thank you to Tara for a fun weekend.

Great location by the water

Our stay here was amazing! The location was close to everything! We loved being so close to the water. We slept with the sliding door open to hear the waves at night. The beds were very comfortable especially in the master bedroom. We liked there were so many pillows (both on the beds and on the window seat in the living room) as this made it more comfortable and more like home! We enjoyed gathering outside on the deck to hang out in the evenings and waking up and having breakfast with the amazing view which sometimes included sea lions, seals and birds on water. We loved the extra touches the owners made to make the place feel like home such as the extra bath towels, dish towels, condiments, dishes, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, blender, toaster, and coffee maker just to name a few. The layout was different with the upstairs being a separate from the downstairs. However, this was fine for our group and we didn't really notice once we got settled. Having the garage to park in was wonderful. The details supplied by the owners made the checking in/out and preparing for the stay easy and smooth. We loved staying here and hope to return in the future.

We had an amazing time ! It was a particular High tide came clear on the main level balcony it was very exciting. Lovely home would love to come back listening to the water was so wonderful ❤️❤️🇺🇸
