Excellent property!

The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, including blenders for those margaritas! It is very clean and bright and we loved relaxing on the balcony. The pool is spacious with ample chairs and the beautiful beach only a few steps away. One of the best features was the private beach club with lounge chairs, umbrellas and the option to purchse food and drink when you just don't want to leave the beach! Playtime in Playa

The condo complex is clean and well appointed - close to the beach and has a wonderful pool. The staff at the front desk and area are awesome - very responsive to anything you may need and sincerely caring about you as a person. The condo itself was the most cost effective we could find in the complex. We were a bit disappointed that the deck was always in the shade and therefore always full of mosquitoes and bugs. The TV only gets 3 English speaking stations (one being Fox news) so be sure to bring your laptop or tablet to watch programs on Netflix in the evenings - none of the TVs are smart TVs. If you are budget conscious, this condo is the way to go to take advantage of the location and the complex amenities. Be VERY diligent with your electricity usage, the charge is over 4 pesos per kwh. Overall we were very happy with the unit and the complex.

Great condo and ample apartment

The Elements is a great condo with the best pool I’ve seen in PdC. The greenery, the beach club and the gym are beautiful. Due to the sargazo we couldn’t enjoyed the beach. The location is excellent, walking distance to 5th ave and easy in/out from PdC by CTM avenue. Parking on street available. The Apartment is wide and comfortable, we have a few issues that were rapidly solved. I would loved better quality pillows for the master bed. The 2nd room has 2 huge and heavy beds and 2 more beds that rolls out, when that happens the beds steal all the space and moving around it is difficult. I would love a full body mirror and a gas bbq, the one in the unit is charcoal. We stayed for 35 nights and really enjoyed it. Quality sleep was excellent, very quiet. A phone would be a nice touch in order to be able to communicate with the front desk. Electricity is very expensive we paid usd400 for the whole stay.

The property was excellent, great Condo, responsive staff and the location was perfect. The amenities exceeded our expectations. The property was quiet, yet close enough to all the activities on 5th Ave. The unit and grounds are well maintained and the support staff was excellent.

Excelente imĂłvel. Fui com minha esposa, filha e sogra. Bem localizado Ăłtimo para conhecer as praias e atraçÔes da regiĂŁo se vocĂȘ estĂĄ com automĂłvel. Tudo perto restaurantes, mercado e farmĂĄcia. Fui tratado muito bem pela Concierge Deborah, foi muito atenciosa e resolvia qualquer solicitação prontamente apesar da Ă©poca agitada do ano. Fui avisado pela portaria de barulho por conta da proximidade de uma casa noturna, nĂŁo ouvi nada achei silencioso. Cozinha com toda a estrutura para quem gosta de cozinhar. Recomendo o imĂłvel.

Great Stay at the Elements 108

First time visit to Playa del Carmen and could not have asked for a better place to stay. We arrived late, but Deborah at North American had assisted me with making sure we had transportation to the Elements when we arrived in Cancun. Matt was incredibly responsive to any questions during the stay. The location was perfect for me and my family...close enough to walk to all the restaurants and shops on 5th Avenue, but just far enough away to not be bothered with all the traffic and crowds. The condo was perfect for us and the facilities were great...we spent several of the days exploring the Mayan ruins and Cenotes, and several other hanging by the pool. The beach club is nice, but the beaches close to Playa had an abundance of seaweed...not sure if this was a short-term thing, but many of the surrounding hotels were working to clear it up. Highly recommend Telum and Coba ruins, and swimming in the Cenotes. Kids (age 13 and 15) loved the location as well (especially the pool). Onsite staff was very helpful with last minute ideas around the areas. Highly recommend the Italian restaurant up the street for dinner...great pasta and we even did take out pizza the one night we felt like staying in. We will be back for sure. Thanks again for a relaxing vacation.

Family vacation

We chose the elements for the amenities - beach club with snack bar, which was great for the kids. pool was great for laps in the morning and I liked have the gym. everything is convenient. the condo is nicely decorated and beds very comfortable.

Wonderful location and lovely home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Elements 108! The location is perfect: right on the beach, and a very short walk up to the main drag (5th Avenue) and the many shops and restaurants there, but still far enough away to avoid all of the late-night noise and partying that you would hear if you were staying right on 5th Ave. For some less touristy food options, you can walk just a few blocks up Avenue C.T.M. from the condo: there is an amazing breakfast/lunch/juice bar place, as well as some awesome taco stands! We prepared quite a bit of our own food, and it was about a 25 minute walk or ~$5 USD cab ride to the Mega or Walmart for groceries. The building and grounds at The Elements are terrific, and we especially enjoyed the large pool (including two different depths of children's pools). There were nearly always available chairs around the pool and at the beach, which was a very nice change from staying at a resort. The condo unit itself was also awesome; wonderful bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms, plenty of space and storage space, a terrific deck/patio, and a nice living and dining room area for everyone to enjoy. The in-unit laundry is also amazing when traveling with kids! Matt was wonderful enough to obtain two pack-and-play cribs for us to rent for our twin toddlers to sleep in. A few relatively minor drawbacks: 1) The dishwasher does not really clean the dishes, so we ended up just doing dishes by hand and using the dishwasher as a drying rack. 2) There seemed to be a lot of construction going on, making it rather loud and unpleasant to sit out on the lovely patio during the day for much of our stay (though this would of course vary, depending on when you visit). 3) The beach area in front of the condo is near a marina, so the smell of gasoline sometimes drifted over to where we were sitting on the beach. Overall though, this was a fabulous rental, Matt was wonderfully prompt and responsive in our communications, and we would absolutely stay here again if we return to Playa del Carmen!

Fantastic stay at the Elements Condo in Playa del Carmen

My grown sons and I have stayed many times at the Elements and this year tried a different apartment--we had as usual a wonderful time. We love this exquisite condo complex which has what may be the most beautiful pool I have ever seen. The location is fantastic--close to everything but quiet and with a view of the Caribbean. Matt and Alan of North American Standards as usual provide impeccable service--we loved our concierge Deborah who planned excursions for us and made excellent recommendations of activities and restaurants we hadn't tried (like Thanksgiving dinner on the beach!)
