Lovely unit, poor management

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in multiple units at Sandpiper Cove. This is the first time staying in one managed by Sandpiper cove and not a private owner. The location of the unit was nice. The unit was spacious and clean. The door lock quit working, the back door didn’t lock and the dishwasher did not work. We notified management of these issues multiple times with no follow up or communication from them. This left us with a place that we could not leave and lock. One evening security guard was kind enough and went out of his way to come up with a solution so we could leave our condo and have a bit of security. Very disappointed In how Managament handled the issues.

Not the Best Stay We Have Had...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we noticed the a/c was broken..the maintenance guy came to repair.. even after repair the a/c never got below 74. After grocery shopping, we unloaded our food and the next morning the refrigerator was not cooling. 50% of our food spoiled!! Out of the 4 years we have stayed at Sandpiper Cove this by far was the worst experience. The staff did help and compensated us a little for our troubles. The appliances were outdated and barely worked! We survived, but wouldn't pick this condo in the future at all!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay at SC9211. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The distance to the beach was short. The beach chair service was much appreciated. You must get to the beach early to reserve a seat though or else you will be in the back row. We didn’t know this and wished that we knew how the reservations worked as we had kids in the water and needed direct vision on them at all times. It was hard to do this from the second or third row. The security was friendly and we were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings. The check-in clerk was a little short and not friendly but it could just be personality. She wasn’t as warm as the others we encountered on the property. We will return to this condo again. We loved it. Thanks for a great vacay SC!!

Tammy the manager was gracious enough to show me 2 other condos to move too. We moved to condo 9211 & we liked it very much. She was very professional & very kind. We enjoyed our stay here & will be back. My family has a great time at Sandpiper Cove Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good location and great kitchen!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay in Unit 9211. Loved being on the second floor and having a glimpse of the ocean from the deck. Easy access to the beach and staff was very responsive to minor issues that arose. The kitchen is very well stocked compared to other places we stayed.

Not worth the money!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed at SPC for vacations with my extended family for 33 years. I love the location and the amenities of SPC, but this property was a disappointment. My other family members had similar complaints with their properties.There was only 1 working outlet in MBR and the lamps in the den didnt work. The living room furniture was stained, a door was missing from W/D area, there was dust on fixtures and the patio furniture was not in good shape.

It is close to the pool and the beach. Only drawback was it's on the 2nd floor so carrying everything to the car was a pain.
