The view from condo is the best feature. Proximity to beach and amenities were very good. The one downside is the unit does need some updates. Namely two bathrooms and flooring in bedrooms. The toilets are lower than normal and showers need an update. The unit is clean and well appointed. Kitchen stocked with most anything you need to cook. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location

This condo is the perfect location and proximity to the beach. I wanted to be able to see and hear the ocean and this property for the bill.

Loved our stay! The location was perfect, right on the beach with a great view. The condo was great. Clean, had everything we needed, and nicely decorated - it felt like home. We liked the location so much we hardly ventured out into town. The instructions let us know anything we needed that wasn't supplied and check in and out was a breeze. The on-site restaurant was delicious and the tiki bar was perfect for a sunset cocktail or quick bite. So grateful to find a great place that allowed us to bring our dog on vacation with us. Highly recommend!

Sandpiper Cove, Destin Florida

This has become our new “go to” when visiting Destin. The community has several pools located throughout the property and easy access to the beach. Our condo was on the beach with great views and better than advertised! The condo was clean and nicely decorated and layout was great.

Getting away from snow:)

We loved our stay here. The amenities are more than adequate. We especially enjoyed being able to watch/see the Gulf and beach from our unit:) Our rental was very clean, and appreciated having a washer/dryer too. We will be back next year.

Baby’s first vacation

Couldn’t have asked for a better location, especially with a little one. Made it so much easier to pop back and forth to the beach and having the beach service was also a wonderful perk! Condo was in good condition and met our needs. We already want to come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: GThis condo has a set of beach chairs and an umbrella that come with it. Access to the beach is just down the stairs from the deck. It also features a private spray hose to rinse off sand when returning from the beach. The condo has all of the appliances, cooking utensils and serving pieces you could ever want. The deck has enough deck chairs for occupants plus some company. The view of the water and the sea oats on the sand dunes is beautiful and the high-rise on the next property down provides shade during several hours of the morning, allowing for a very pleasant easy breakfast on the deck even after the sun is up.

Vrbo on the beach

View was fabulous. It is all about the view. From inside the condo to the outside deck with steps leading to the beach. We did not cook here so i am not sure how well the kitchen was stocked. House was clean and comfortable.

Great condo

The property was great! Right on the beach, fully stocked, and convenient to everything. The property managers are not very responsive on the app so make sure you call if you have any questions in advance. Once we got there, everything was great. One issue we had was that dogs are not allowed on the beach (it is a county rule). We wished that this had been listed on the property description before we booked.

Beautiful view

We had a beach view condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Sleeping at night with the doors open listening to the ocean waves and feeling the breeze was awesome. Little chilly in March but a wonderful time and the management here went above and beyond to help us (which was especially great since we had my 3 & 5 year old grandchildren with us who were “ready to be there”). We even extended our stay an extra day and that was seamless and easy. The condos are a bit dated but it looks like they are working on them to update them somewhat.

I only have one complaint. There was no weather strip on the bottom of the front door, allowing a cold breeze to blast right in. This should be an easy fix and I will ask for this unit again on my next visit.

Great Location

Had a wonderful experience. Clean unit, very well appointed , decorated and spacious. great view of the ocean. Centrally located to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly unit, as well! Loved the large porch facing the ocean. Only negative, was not in this unit, but the painters were working in the building adjacent to ours, so it was a bit noisy. Additionally, the unit above us was being renovated, so there was a lot of thumping and knocking. Not sure if they were installing new floors?? Anyway it would have been nice to know before booking this unit at this time.

However the Sandpiper customer service is awful. My family and I stayed there for a week. Everyday at 8am until 5pm there was construction on the unit above us. I wish they would have informed us of this.The front door has a huge gap. We had to put a towel in front of it because you can feel the wind. Again the home is beautiful and it is a great location.

The view was amazing. Upon arrival we went directly to the beach without checking the conditions of the room. After a long day at the beach with kids we went to shower and prepare for bed. That’s when we noticed a veterinarian amount of animal hair on couches pull out beds ,pillows,and sheets.my infant daughter is highly allergic to dogs and cats. She immediately started itching and wheezing. I contacted the property aswell as the third party booking agency vrbo, Expedia. No one was willing to help instead they ridiculed me and my family making us explained over and over and send pics. One lady asked would I bring some hair to the office.the air in the unit didn’t work and never got fixed my entire stay . After the terrible weekend the best thing they said they could do is refund a minimal cleaning fee off of a expensive vacation. Run away if you have an issue and your a person of color they will ridicule you.

Beautiful Location, But Laundry Appliances Ruined Personal Items — No Accountability

The unit is in a great location with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. It was clean and stocked with everything I needed for a short stay in Destin.However, my experience was negatively impacted by a serious issue: the washer or dryer in the unit damaged multiple items of my personal clothing. I ran a standard load of laundry the night before check-out, and every single item in the load with straps—two Vuori sports bras, a Target sports bra, and a swimsuit—was snapped or sliced. These were the only “delicate” items in the load, and all were damaged in exactly the same way (photos attached).I contacted the management company immediately. They responded by stating there was “no evidence” the appliances caused the damage. But the reality is this: the items were in perfect condition when they went in, and they came out damaged. No sharp objects were in the load, and it’s beyond coincidence that only the strapped garments were affected. Some issue with the washer or dryer clearly caused this.What makes this even more frustrating is the double standard. Guests are required to pay a refundable security deposit to cover any damage to the unit—which I completely understand. But when the unit damages a guest’s belongings, there is no responsibility taken. If I had damaged something in the condo, I doubt I’d get my deposit back (which, at the time of this review, still hasn’t been returned—though I expect it will be, as I left the unit in perfect condition).
