As you step onto the balcony, you will notice the gentle Caribbean breeze carrying the scent of salt and sea. From this vantage point, you’re treated to a truly beautiful panorama of Cruz Bay. The beautiful waters of the harbor stretch out before you, as you watch the ferries travel in and out, with a vibrant pulse of island life seen below. Picture yourself unwinding on the porch with a refreshing drink as the sun sinks into the Caribbean Sea.

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom condo offers a comfortable and inviting retreat after a day of exploring St. John’s beaches and trails. Inside, you'll find a well-equipped space, perfect for relaxing! The master bedroom consists of a queen bed, while the second bedroom consists of two twin beds. In between, you will find the bathroom with a full shower. There is an updated and fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities you need. Located outside the kitchen is a comfortable living room with a Smart TV, cable and wi-fi. We are happy to announce that Sea Grape has new and state of the art split A/C units throughout the condo. Also, the floors have newly installed tile, which creates a clean tropical space.

Battery Hill enjoys a truly enviable location on St. John. Perched on a hillside overlooking the vibrant heart of Cruz Bay, it offers the best of both worlds: stunning views and incredible convenience. You will have easy access to a fantastic array of restaurants, from casual beachside grills to more refined dining experiences. You can wander into town for happy hour, a delicious dinner or to pick up groceries with ease. The shopping in Cruz Bay is also within walking distance, offering a wide variety of wonderful shops.


Battery Hill provides a perfect blend of accessibility and serenity, making it a highly desirable spot to experience all that St. John has to offer. It is a comfortable and conveniently located retreat just a short walk away from all that Cruz Bay has to offer. If you choose to rent a car or jeep, a spot is reserved for you throughout your stay. Battery Hill’s refreshing pool with a sun deck overlooks the village of Cruz Bay. This is a great spot to relax after a day at the beach. Sun lounges and tables are provided. Also, a new large propane grill is available to you for your outdoor cooking needs.

The layout of this unit is perfect for friends traveling together, two couples or a small family.

Wonderful Stay at Seagrapes!

Stayed for a week and the unit was a perfect fit for our family of four. Plenty of storage space, comfortable beds, nice outdoor space, easy parking for our rental jeep, and roomy bathroom. Kitchen had it all with many unique pluses we used (beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, detergent, bug spray, and sunscreen). The space was bright, clean, and a great location. We got in some good quad workouts walking to and from town. Short distance but wear good shoes. Our only suggestion: laundry is free and on site but not in unit. Still worked out great though and highly suggest this place!

So Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo unit!! Location was perfect for us as we could easily walk to Cruz Bay (and it was good exercise with the hills)! The unit itself was so quaint with an amazing view! It was well stocked and very impressed with the proactive flashlights and battery operated fans being available in the event of a power outage. We are hard graders when it comes to ratings and this condo met all of our needs! We also very much appreciated having a greeter the day of arrival and reviewing important information regarding the unit and the property.Thank you for making our first visit the St. John an amazing experience! We will be back again!!

Wonderful stay at Sea Grape

Sea Grape was a wonderful home base on St. John. It had everything we needed with a fantastic view of Cruz Bay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked with all of the utensils we needed to cook at home. Nights were quiet and peaceful for a good night's sleep. Loved walking into town in the evenings and exploring the island during the day. Look forward to returning! Thank you.

Great spot!

We were in St. John for a wedding! This was a great location. Slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to walk! (There is a bit of a hill which we new about) We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thoroughly enjoyed our time!

February vacation get away

We had an amazing trip. This condo is perfect and has literally everything you need to explore the beaches. It is just a short walk to town (yes up a big hill but restaurants and shops are at the bottom). The kids loved the pool and the other guests and owners were all really nice.

Great Views and Convenient Location

SeaGrape had a wonderful hilltop location, great breezes, and a terrific view from the balcony. While at the very top of the hill, you can walk past Gallows point for a less steep approach. For buns of steel, go straight up from downtown! We loved the view, the rechargeable (extra) fans (we have the same ones at home for the boat); the rince-off shower in the parking lot - life saver - and flat parking!; super useful laundry line on the balcony. All great touches. Once we figured out how to maximize the 2.5 gallon bathroom water heater we were okay on showers. Could have used some salt in the kitchen, but there was plenty of leftover nutmeg for painkillers :) Who needs salt?! The bathroom could use a little touch up on paint and Italian grandmother attention to the baseboards - because you sit in there and stare at these things... but otherwise spotless. We would 100% stay here again! The management company is VERY responsive and made sure that the water heater was functioning as it should when we asked. Living room furniture is comfortable. Great seating on the patio, including a fab, comfortable cushion chair, tucked in the corner out of the breeze where I spent many hours reading my kindle after long snorkeling days. Very much recommend...

Another exceptional stay at Battery Hill

This is my family's third stay at Battery Hill, and was again perfect. Everything from the booking, to the arrival process, to the welcoming amenities is always seamless and so appreciated. The whole property is clean and is the perfect location to the restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. The condo itself was homey and had anything we needed to feel at home. The view was exceptional. We look forward to our next trip!

Perfect Cruz Bay Stay

We stayed on Content Hill with family for our first week and at Battery Hill for our second. The owners were friendly and very helpful with getting us checked in early. The place is cozy and warm and feels like it fits the island more than some of the other places we had seen. The hill top view was unequalled, the pool temperature was perfect and the little community of buildings that make up battery hill is very informal and attractive. This was our second time at Battery Hill and I hope there will be more.

Sea Grape at Battery Hill was the perfect home base for us

The walk up Battery Hill is no joke, but just became part of the fun. (Of course we could have taken a taxi). The condo is exactly as pictured and described. Beautiful views off the porch and delightful pool. Having beach chairs and snorkel gear available to borrow was such a nice touch. The condo had everything we could have needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would 100% rent this condo again for our next visit to St. John.

We rented 3 properties at Battery Hill and loved all of them. Each was unique in it's own way but offered us everything we needed and more. The view from Sea Grape was the best. They took care of any concerns that may have arisen and welcomed us with a welcome gift upon arrival. The extra coolers were perfect for day trips to the beach. Don't be fooled by the hill-we found a less steep hill to walk up that made the stay great!

We are Cindy and Jeff, and we are delighted to share our home with you. While staying at Sea Grape, we love to swim, snorkel, hike and eat at the wonderful restaurants on the island. Here, we are hiking to Honeymoon Beach via the Lind Point Trail. One point of interest you should not miss while on the island is the Windmill Bar at Neptune’s Lookout. The views are spectacular!

While not on the island, we reside in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. We have two children; our son is a graduate from Franklin & Marshall College, and he resides in Hoboken, NJ and our daughter is a recent graduate from Villanova University. She resides in Manhattan, NY. They both also love to stay active and enjoy the vacation life.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

After years of traveling to the US Virgin Islands, we decided that St. John is where we chose to call our "our home away from home." The crystal clear water and the wonderful beaches are second to none! The snorkeling is spectacular (our favorite spot is Hawksnest!) We are foodies and the food on the island is amazing! The beautiful National Parks bring lots of opportunities for hiking and exercise.
