Situé à Chocolate Hole, avec une vue sud de la mer des Caraïbes, POI PU est idéal pour la famille ou les couples voyageant ensemble. L'endroit isolé entouré de magnifiques jardins de fleurs tropicales vous permet de profiter des vacances très privé. POI PU est situé à seulement 5 minutes de la ville de Cruz Bay et ses choix éclectiques de boutiques duty free et de la gastronomie. 10-15 minutes vous conduira vers les plages de renommée mondiale sur la rive nord dans le parc national VI.

En entrant dans la villa, vous serez amené à l'architecture ouverte de la grande salle, salle à manger avec des sièges pour quatre et une cuisine complète avec toutes les caractéristiques et de commodités pour préparer des collations à des repas complets. Le comptoir à déjeuner offre un espace de socialisation avec le cuisinier tandis que les repas sont préparés. Les doubles portes au large de la salle à manger à l'intérieur ouvert à la plate-forme latérale où vous trouverez une autre table pour manger en plein air pour six tout en donnant sur le belvédère et la piscine. Le barbecue à gaz est situé à proximité pour préparer des hamburgers et des hot-dogs, des steaks et des fruits de mer.

L'ouverture des trois doubles portes autour du périmètre de la villa sera pratiquement doubler l'espace de vie entière avec l'ajout de l'enrouler autour de terrasses avec chaises longues et des sièges. Les poutres ouvertes avec des ventilateurs de plafond élégantes assureront que le refroidissement commerciales tropical vent brises sont distribués dans toute la villa. Avec le périmètre des portes ouvertes, vous pourrez profiter de la vue imprenable de Chocolate Hole et la mer des Caraïbes dans le confort intérieur de la villa.

La chambre familiale dispose d'une télévision à écran plat avec télévision par câble et un lecteur DVD et un système audio offrant un divertissement occasionnel dans un environnement relaxant.

Il y a deux chambres climatisées avec lits doubles situées sur le niveau principal. Les lits sont chaque voilés d'élégantes des moustiquaires et disposent de ventilateurs de plafond sur les lits. Chaque chambre dispose d'une salle d'eau adjacente et de partager un grand et impressionnant douche en pierre d'origine avec deux pommeaux de douche. La troisième chambre est située dans un grand loft et dispose d'un lit queen size et aménagements coin décontracté avec TV et lecteur DVD.

We had the most amazing time staying at this property! It had a wonderful view, the deck was great for hanging out as well as the hammock and the pool for relaxing. Not having potable water was not an issue for us - we just picked up 2 jugs on our way in and it lasted the whole time. All the amenities were great. The open doors created a lovely cross breeze. My teenage girls loved sleeping in the loft and the adults enjoyed the bedrooms with AC. The garden/landscaping was serene.

We had a great time at Poi Pu! The location is close to Cruz Bay so it’s close to the grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and the ferry. It’s also only a 15-20 minute drive to most of the beaches. Even though you’re close to Cruz Bay, it was really quiet at night. The house was perfect for my family of 4. The bottom two bedrooms have AC. The loft doesn’t but there were two fans on the floor and the overhead fan for air movement. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook several meals at the house. The pool was a great plus for us to use after a day at the beach.

Jackie did a good job getting back to us and giving us useful information. This place is set up nicely with beautiful views and in a great location to get to many places. The place could use some updates on some things and was told new doors were going to be put on in a few months, which will be really nice. The couch did have stains on it, but we just put down some towels. It's probably not the easiest getting furniture to the island.

The property was clean and had a great deck with amazing views. The location was great- far enough from the traffic in Cruz Bay, but close enough that it took less than 10 minutes to get to restaurants, the grocery store, etc. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Communication with the host was good and she was very responsive. However, communication with the property manager wasn’t great- the directions to get there were not accurate based on where we were coming from and it took several calls and us driving around and around to figure out where to go. The front door stuck badly and took multiple tries to open and close. There was only AC in the two bedrooms and loft got really hot, so our son had to move downstairs and share the other bedroom. The couch in the living room was stained and very uncomfortable. Also, be aware that there is only 1 shower for the whole house- we didn’t realize this as the listing showed 2 bathrooms. There were two shower heads in said shower, but only one of them would allow hot water to come out. And due to the fact that there is only AC in the bedrooms, the bathrooms were very stuffy and hot. Lack of central AC may be the case for most houses in St. John, but as this was our first time there, I can’t say for sure.

Hi Emily and than you for your candid review. I apologize for the door lock situation. I ordered a new door several weeks ago (things take forever to get on an island!) but I didn't know there was an issue with locking or unlocking until my kids and grandkids arrived after you left. Regarding the showers, we do have two - there is an outside one by the pool. I asked my son about no hot water coming out of one of the spigots and he said there was - it was just reversed. I'll address that when we get to there next month. Also, I do advertise that there is AC in the downstairs bedrooms only. Since we have those beautiful doors that all open out to the deck (which we are replacing with glass sliders when we're there) it would be a shame to have to close up the whole house to air the bathrooms. In fact, my husband and I have been going there since our kids were babies, and we never had air until about 15 years ago, so we're used to island life. Lastly, about the couch I apologize for that as well as our cleaning person is supposed to steam clean it after each turnover and I guess it didn't get done. It's a pain couch and that, too, we plan on replacing when we get there. So, after having said all this, I do hope you'll come back again and as a thank you for your troubles, I'd like to extend a 10% discount if you decide to come back. Cheers! Jackie

I have stayed on St. John several times and Poi Pu is my favorite villa yet! It has a swiss family robinson tree house vibe. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was welcome but the loft had a nice breeze such that our friend who stayed there had no problem sleeping comfortable underneath blankets. The setup is wonderful and the shower is so cool! You feel like you are under the sea! Our daughters adored the pool. The sunrise and sunset views from the wraparound porch were picturesque and we all loved hanging on the hammock with a good book in the mornings and afternoons. The location is super convenient to the amenities of cruz bay while also feeling like you are in a secluded tropical paradise. The owner was incredibly helpful and communicative during our stay and check in was an absolute breeze. I will 100% be returning to Poi Pu for our next trip to paradise!

Great location and spectacular views! Loved the hammock and plunge pool, then relaxing in the shade. A/C in two of the bedrooms worked well. Space enough for the five of us to spread out and relax — quiet and calm. Very peaceful. One item to note: Host informed us after arriving that the water isn’t potable — only suitable for showering and washing dishes. Also not advertised were requested water-saving restrictions (selective toilet flushing and navy showers). Would have preferred to know that in advance, and to be provided at least a couple gallons of water as a starter before having to run to the grocery.

Hi Charles and I am so happy you and your guests enjoyed Poi Pu! I must respond, however, to your claim that you were unaware that the water is not drinkable as I sent you a message directly after your reservation was made with lots of information on car rentals, grocery delivery, off island excursions AND the number for Love City Water as a great place to fill water jugs for $1 since you can't drink the water (although you can shower and brush teeth, etc.). Apparently, you didn't read my message or forgot about it along the way.

We recently stayed at Poi Pu in St. John and had a blast. The property was adorable and had a nice pool that overlooks chocolate hole, what a view! One of the best days we had was just grilling some burgers by the pool. We stayed with another couple and the two rooms were perfect. Very short drive to town and the beaches. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

4 adult friends stayed here. Plenty of room and house could easily accommodate additional guests. Great views and amenities. Loved having use of the beach chairs, great patio deck, kitchen and sleeping areas.

The Perfect Fit!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Poi Pu. The home is ideal for families and is in a great location. The hammock was the perfect spot for an afternoon nap! Views were incredible and the location is ideal for Cruz Bay and the surrounding beaches in that area. The home was clean and comfortable. The property manager and owner were very responsive and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this perfect home!

Amazing View

We had a wonderful time on St John. This property has a beautiful view and outdoor space and is less than 10 minutes drive to town. The layout of the house is great with two private bedrooms connected by a jack and jill bathroom plus a loft. The kitchen and bathroom are getting a little dated but function just fine. The owner and host were great to work with and very responsive.

Quiet and Comfortable

This is a great spot for a family or two couples. Small but well appointed with a fantastic outdoor space and great views. The pool was great with small kids and the hammock gets shade pretty much the whole day. Only a few minutes drive from Cruz Bay but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. There were beach chairs and some toys as well as a cooler to use which was fantastic. While we had a small issue with the water turning off, it was handled promptly and communication was excellent throughout the arrival and the rest of the week when we needed anything.

Awesome views

Jackie was a great host. Answered all our questions almost immediately. We had a major storm blow through and had some minor issues she addressed. The house is well laid out and perfectly located. 5 mins drive to Cruz Bay. Beautiful views of Chocolate Hole. We did very little cooking, but the kitchen looked well stocked. I totally recommend Pui Po.

St. John Paradise

Nice location but not really walkable to town. We were hoping our kids would have an easier time walking to town. The house was rustic which was great for us. We enjoyed the pool and deck. The kitchen was wonderful and we used the Weber grill almost daily. Also, walking the roads around the property was fun and we discovered some incredible views!! This location is perfect for any family. Finally, the Dolphin Market is close which was helpful coming home from the beach each day. Thank you for a magical vacation in paradise!!

great vacay

We had an awesome time in St. John, and. Poi Pu villa was in a great location. Only 5 mins to Cruz Bay, we explored all the surrounding neighborhoods on foot, gaining beautiful vantage points of the island around every corner. A few days of our week stay (July) were incredibly hot so the dipping pool and rooms with AC were key. We learned to time our outings with the scheduled power outages in the PMs. We couldn’t quite figure out how to keep the open air living and kitchen mosquito free, but came close! Many many memories for years to come, hope to be back again some day!!

My wife and I took our 14 yr old son and 18 yr old daughter on a trip back to St. John in celebration of our 20 year marriage. The property lived up to it's reputation and more! The huge wrap-around deck was a favorite as it allowed you to take in the fantastic views no matter where you sat. Open up the doors all around the main living area and achieve the same thing. We grilled and ate at home often because it was so easy to do. The location is a great launch point to both Cruz Bay, the Center road and all the beaches, plus Coral Bay. The house gives you enough room to have your space and be together, and we could immediately feel relaxed and at home the moment we got there. It was perfect!

The Fenners currently reside in Port St. Joe, Florida and also have a condo in Quechee, Vermont. We enjoy skiing, , waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, tennis and are recent fans of pickle ball! We have two married children and two grand children and are looking forward to family gatherings at Poi Pu!

The Fenner matriarch and patriarch purchased land on Chocolate Hole in the late 70s after spending two weeks on a sailboat and needing some shore time and Chocolate Hole offered not only beautiful ocean views but a constant tropical windward breeze. The property has been passed on to the children and we take pride in owning such a wonderful vacation home. It has been a favorite and special place to gather with family and friends, and those who have rented it can't wait to return.
