Host didn’t respond to multiple inquiries the day before and the day of check in. Did not receive check in info until 1pm day of check in. We were traveling from out of town with kids. At that point we had to book alternative housing bc we had kids with us and weren’t sure if we were scammed. Vrbo rules (and hosts) said we would receive check in 24 hrs in advance.

This property is located in a bad neighborhood area and I would not recommend anyone stay here. At arrival the lights were not working, power had been cut off and host stopped connecting with us. I received a refund but had to contact VRBO directly for assitance.

Unit reeked of marijuana, filthy oven, rust all over the front of the fridge and kitchen vents. Front office could not get front gate open for us when following the property access instructions provided to us. Beer bottles all over the property. Dents in main bedroom walls and burn marks and stains all over bathroom counter. Unit looks nothing like the online photos and not habitable for a family. Property manager was very slow to respond. We had to leave and find alternative accomodations for our daughter’s FSU move-in. Waiting for refund since we could not stay in the unit. Marijauna smell was making us all very sick.

We could NOT stay there at all because the "condo" was disgustingly filthy, there were damaged and filthy appliances in the kitchen and damaged furniture in the living room, there was NO dining room table; just a CARD table, there was hardly any plates, cups, utensils or cooking pots, the towels were paper this and they provided 2 sets of paper-thin towels for 4 people, neither the community gate nor condo door CODES would open so we would have been "locked" in the premises and unable to visit Tallahassee. The poor gal who has there to assist us to gain access was shocked at the condition of the condo. They had "college kids" staying before us. We refused to stay and had to find other accommodations during Tallahassee FSU graduations. the property manager refunded their charges and NOW, I would appreciate my 152 VRBO refund. Thank you.

A friend and I were going to family weekend and we were going to stay there. I drove 500miles for family weekend thinking it was going to be a great weekend… However, When I arrived in Tallahassee, my daughter and I went to the vrbo to check it out. 1. It smelled of smoke2. There was no electricity or water. The fuse box was in the room and there was no electricity or water that we could turn on!3. The owner, said she would have her tech turn on electricity. The box was in the apartment and we did try to turn it on and nothing, no electricity or water! 4. She contacted me later and said he was going to turn it on. Then she messaged me that he had been in an accident so she would refund the money. She would find somewhere for us to go but never reached out again…That conversation was last Friday and still have not been refunded. 5. And she would refund the money, however this hasn’t happened yet. Beware…. This is my only negative review bc I love vrbo and use it frequently. So sad to about this trip w/ vrbo6. Never heard from her after that…

Awesome Graduation

We booked this home for my daughter’s FAMU graduation. Our host Mariah was very accommodating, helpful and sweet. She is an amazing host that prides herself on overall satisfaction of her guest. She also has a 2nd home which my older daughter rented and absolutely loved. Thank you for being gracious towards my family.
