À propos de cet hébergement
Sonoma Active Retreat Near Plaza Hot-Tub Sports
Well appointed single family home situated in a serene neighborhood only 5 minutes from the historic Sonoma Plaza. Bridging where countryside meets small town charm in a very walkable neighborhood, we have the best of both worlds. Enjoy easy access to all the wineries, restaurants & experiences in wine country & beyond, or just unwind in our peaceful haven.
The space
Our wine country home is the perfect place to get away from it all, engage in activities, or relax, unwind & recharge as much as you desire. Sonoma is the rare kind of small town that has retained its genuine charm and you'll be set up to make the most of it.
Take a stroll to get your morning coffee at Barking Dog Roasters, cross the street to your massage appointment at the Fairmont Mission Inn Spa & pick up fresh produce from Sonoma Valley Fruit Basket on your way back.
Grab some of the best Mexican food for miles around at El Molino Central, or picture perfect Lebanese cuisine from Spread Kitchen & treat yourself to a frozen delight from La Michoacana Natural ice Cream (I highly recommend the lime bars).
Jump on a bike from our garage & you'll be in the beautifully preserved square in a few minutes. Lots of historic buildings and the last California Mission at the end of El Camino Real. There are so many restaurants and tasting rooms you'll be spoiled for choice, so just message us before you head into town and we'll give the most up to date recommendations. If you're here on a Tuesday evening in Summer be sure to check out something called the Plaza farmer's market. Sure you can get locally farmed amazing produce and expertly made food from local vendors, but it's really the weekly Sonoma town outdoor happy hour. Bring a bottle of wine, make some new friends & ignore your kids for a couple of hours as they form gangs in pursuit of sugary treats.
If you feel like driving, the main highway is distant enough so you can't hear it but only about 30 seconds away. In less than an hour you can be exploring 1000 Sonoma & Napa wineries, San Francisco, the majestic Sonoma Coast with it's bountiful seafood, hundreds of breweries including the world famous Russian River Brewing Co, America's best creameries, several of America's best restaurants, and you can pretend to be an Ewok on the forest moon of Endor in our giant Redwood Groves.
Guest access
The entire property is yours to enjoy, except for the shed full of sharp objects used to keep the vegetation in check :)
There's also access to the Sonoma Creek through the back gate, it is a tranquil ,beautiful ,unspoiled place. We put a few tree stumps down there for you to sit on and watch, the butterflies flutter by,deer, wild turkeys, and even the occasional river otter or mountain lion if your are very lucky.
