Casablanca is a truly stunning property located in the quiet and peaceful gated golf and beach resort of Alcaidesa, near Sotogrande. Perfectly situated for exploring both the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz. Cadiz, Jerez, Seville and Malaga are located about just over an 1 hour drive and Gibraltar 20 minutes awaywhile many of the white villages of Andalucia are a short distance away. The glitzy resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are a 35 minute drive.

The house is very spacious which is ideal for families and big groups, there is wifi throughout the house, Amazonstick for the TV in the lounge. Fully equipped kitchen to meet all your needs

The beach is a 2 minute drive or a 15 minute walk or for those who just want to relax, the 8m x 4m private pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens and a large decked area, with outside bar, barbecue and dining area for your alfresco meals.

For the active, local nature and jogging trails, tennis, pedal, sailing and of course golf with the 36 hole Alcaidesa links on site and some of the best courses in Europe, including Valderrama, in the immediate vicinity.

Villa Casablanca - perfect for our celebration

The property was exactly as the photographs, clean, spacious with all facilities in working order. the location was perfect - easy to find, views were fantastic, ambience peaceful. We were met on arrival with the keys. There were balconies for the bedrooms, many 'day beds' in bedrooms which facilitated singles. Pool was cleaned after we arrived. We had an open log fire when it was cold, and made use of BBQ on warmer days. We are all planning to return.

Underwhelmed, but all in all decent place to stay!

We stayed in this home for a week, arriving in Spain with family from two different countries. We have stayed in large homes before with the same group so we feel as if we are pretty well versed in what makes a prime villa for a vacation abroad. All in all, this house was beautiful, but there were some things we wish we could have known, so I'll put them here for future inquirers: This trip, we had a baby in tow, and had arranged for a bassinet for him. When we got there, the bassinet simply an old pack-n-play, with the bottom partially blown out and a towel over it. We would have liked to have something a little more usable, which it was not. Baby ended up sleeping in bed with us, which isn't the safest situation. But we got by. The house's is ALL tile and ANY noise anywhere in the house echos through the entire thing - and LOUD. Not the most ideal house for a napping baby, so I think it's important to include that in case anyone plans on having a baby. Many homes in Europe have ants, so this one is no exception. But for those not versed in keeping ALL food completely locked up and sealed, this house also requires that or you will be met with a barrage of small sugar ants all over the house. The driveway: Watch out! We are very careful drivers, but we still scraped the car on the cement wall (luckily no damage) getting in and out. It was a site to see each time someone had to pull in or out of the gate, which only allowed for a couple inches on each side of the care for clearance. Not to mention the driveway is very steep, and you immediately have to gun it to the top or fear the car stalls. Can be tricky, so if you have hesitancy doing things like this, keep that in mind. Park outside to gate maybe? The one "BAD" thing - the directions to this home were as if we were on candid camera and being watched as we aimlessly turned up and down winding streets. First off, it says to follow one road down the hill, and take a left at some street. However, the sign with that street name isn't until AFTER you pass the turn. SO, you'd have to MISS the turn in order to SEE the sign. Makes zero sense. Once we figured out where to turn off the main drag, we FINALLY found the home. Just be ready to get lost. Some good things: The people who run and/or own the home were extremely friendly and responsive. When we had questions, they were there to answer them. The house has an AMAZING view, and good driving distance to many sights.

Dear Holidaymaker, I am sorry that the villa did not meet with your requirements and I will take on board all your comments. We have had many families stay with babies and some have left reviews how happy they have been at the villa and no one has complained about the noise or the travel cots, the travel cots were all brand new at the beginning a of the season in February 2013, there are 3 in total and there are blankets for them all, we have housekeepers on hand who would be more than happy to supply you with extra bedding if needed. The instructions to the house are what they are and I am afraid all the other holidaymakers who have used them have all been able to find the property without getting lost. There are ants in Spain in the summer and I am afraid if you don't clean kitchen and food is left around in the heat the ants will come. Thanks Natasha

Great villa for a holiday with friends or family

The house is exactly as the pictures show. There are no direct neighbours so being a little bit noisy at night was not a problem at all. Enjoy the sun and the great views from the veranda. The house was clean. I would have liked a few further items in the kitchen but I informed the agency and they told me they will buy these. Generally good communication. We may come back!

Great place to enjoy your holiday

Can't tell any bad things about this villa. Really spacious and nice looking. Great view and nice swimming pool. We staid only 3 night but could have spent there weeks. We had 12 adults and there was definately enough space for everyone. Closest food store was a bit too far if there's something bad to say about this.

Amazing views. Very impressed.

You never quite know when you book a villa if all those boxes are actually ticked. Well in this case they are. This villa is lovely it has amazing views and is so peaceful. Very spacious inside and out and accomodated 7 adults and 2 children perfectly. The pool is a great size and surrounded by ample space for the sunbeds. We also loved the lawned area at the back of the property. This was perfect for those games of football and catching the last couple of hours of sun. We would definately all go back. Just need to say there not many local restaurants in walking distance though so be prepared to visit the supermarkets. Natasha the owner is very helpful and when you arrive Frank is your man. Would highly recommend this villa to family and friends. Vanessa

Breathtakingly Beautiful

Couldn't recommend this villa enough! Everything about it was truly amazing! Myself and my family stayed here for 10 days with 3 kids and everybody had a ball, House was spotlessly clean, didn't want to leave!!! Can't wait to book again for next year!

Absolutely amazing villa!!!

The views from this villa are probably the best in Alcaidesa. (There is a fantastic view from nearly every room in the villa). The location is ideal for visiting Gibraltar and villages along the costa del sol. There are also 2 golf courses on the complex, which any standard of golfer will enjoy. The owner, Natasha is extremely helpful and the check in and check out is very straight forward. We had such a lovely time in April we have booked again for September. can't wait.

Summer of 2013

The pictures do not do justice to this property. The views are stunning the house lovely, well maintained to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Due to the location, we found the peaceful relaxed break the family wanted and needed. Natasha and her staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Id be looking to returning again next year. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one.

We lived in the property for 8 years and then relocated back to the UK. I have 2 children, Jacob and Scarlett who are 24 and 21, I run a yoga business from my home and facilitate wellness retreats at this house

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this area as it was a great place for exploring the Costa del Sol and also Costa de la Luz. The area of Alcaidesa is very pretty and picturesque, we liked the fact that it is security gated, and has a beautiful natural beach within walking distance from the house, the plot we built on have views which spans over 3 continents, Africa, Europe and Gibraltar, the views are truly amazing. There is a links golf course and also The Hacienda Golf course. There are restaurants, bars, supermarket and gym onsite

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The property has the best views on the whole of the Costa del Sol while being in my bedroom I have watched Dolphins jump out the sea which was breathtaking, the views pan to Morocco, Gibraltar, Spain and the Sierra Mountains on a clear day. The house is very peaceful and great for large parties of holidaymakers. The house is close to beaches, shops and restaurants, being the ideal holiday home for families and friends looking for all types of holidays
