Welcome to "Blue Plava Lagoon" located in the lively El Porto Neighborhood in Manhattan Beach, This newly renovated, fully furnished penthouse will make you feel at home. Just a block away from the ocean and a 5-minute walk to tasty restaurants, coffee roasters, and bakeries. Ideally situated less than 10 minutes from LAX airport and the freeway for a quick outlet to the city of angels. Enjoy a nice stroll on the Strand that will take you right to beautiful downtown Manhattan Beach.

Every aspect of this home has been remodeled to breathe new life into this ideally located spot. This unit is equipped to host a group size of 4-7 people.

Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? Nope, that's just the Tempur-Pedic mattresses we stock in every bedroom!

Even the living room American Leather pull-out couch has a memory foam mattress. The sectional sofa pulls out into a king-size sleeper, while the armchair pulls out into a twin-size sleeper. So, there is no need to draw straws on who sleeps where because every room in the house is its little sanctuary.

Great location, unfortunately the home was a bit dirty, mugs had coffee ring stains, Floors dirty and the ac’s in all rooms didn’t work. For the price we paid I was a bit disappointed.

We're very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay as much as you could have. Thank you for the heads up about the cleanliness. We'll make sure to address those issues right away! We did have an unexpected issue with the A/C that we communicated upon your arrival. But an inconvenience all the same. Apologies for the less than 5 star star stay - we take your feedback to heart and will make adjustments to improve in the future.

Very comfortable place to stay. Comfy beds. Host had little extras to make life easier; beach towels, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, food storage containers, throw blankets. While I didn’t mind, my kids missed having TVs in the bedrooms. It is a second floor unit with upstairs neighbors.

Incredible location!

If you know you know! El Porto is a great location for surf and the beach. This place is roomy, clean, and has the right amenities. The host is great and super communicative. The other review talked about only one TV…why come to a place like Manhattan beach and expect a TV in every room! Be present, be at the beach! I have two small kids and they were more than excited to be there! Thanks for sharing this wonderful place with my family and I! Truly a great experience! Recommend 100%!

We had a great time. The location, proximity to the beach, and number of bathrooms were the best part of our stay. A family of 5 plus a Grandma, the space was great! The view was out of this world! The pictures online do not do it justice. When you fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the most picturesque view. It was wonderful. The pictures online were a little deceiving because the furniture is no longer bright and new looking. It's dingy and stained, but it's a rental beach house so I wasn't upset about this. That's pretty much par for the course. Even though therewas a wash house on deck the sand is everywhere and impossible to get off. The musky/mildew smell was overwhelming at first, we grew use to it. The last place we stayed at in Destin was the same, so I'm assuming that's typical now for beach properties. Too much moisture in the air. Only other thing I would have appreciated was more dish towels and dish soap and trash bags. Giving us 1 trash bag for an entire week with 6 people was not great. Having to come on vacation and buying a week's worth of groceries for six people was enough money spent but add in basic necessities like paper towels, soap, dish detergent, and trash bags was disappointing. This was the first vrbo i stayed in that didn't have sufficient supply available for guests. I get the laundry soap, it's our choice, but dishes and trash, it's a full kitchen so you should assuming guest will be eating in it and using dishes.
